The Game. Edge: None.
Outcomes of preseason games rarely have anything to do with the talent on the respective teams, since the majority of the games are played by second-, third- and fourth-stringers.

Some coaches care about winning preseason games, while others do not. Thus, betting on coaches with great preseason records is an easy way to make money.

Here are recent NFL Betting Trends: Preseason Records for every coach in the NFL.

I don't have much for you this week because there are too many unknowns with all of these damn new coaches. Joe Philbin may want to win his first game though. He should be able to do it against Ron Rivera, who is just 1-4 in the preseason. However, there's not much data here, so this is going to be a small play.

I normally don't bet on Andy Reid in the preseason, but there's a caveat here. The Eagles will be playing their starters into the third quarter because they can't do that next week. Thanks to a schedule screw-up, Philadelphia takes on the Browns next weekend as well as Week 1 of the regular season. In other words, Reid will be treating this like Week 3 of the exhibition campaign, which is when he usually does very well.

WET SLOPPY WHISTLE WEDNESDAY i have a 3:30 PST game on my card so gonna make it quick

    1. PENN ST +13 (the NITTANY LIONS are not good, as amatter of fact they stink. But they have been playing competitively as of late and for whatever reason they play MICH tough. Just over a week ago they game the WOLVERINES all they cld handle only losing 79-71 @ ANN ARBOR. PSU has lost by a combined 15 pts in their last 3 to IOWA, MICH, and ILL. Thats pretty solid, and i cant find a time where MICH beat PSU on their campus by doubke digits. Tis MICH team hasnt looked sharp in quite a whike and outside of BURKE i feel they are over hyped. MICH is only 2-4 ATS in its last 6 on the ROAD)

    2. PISTONS +7 (this game has already be talked about, just see below. I cant support the WIZ as this high as a favorite as they dont have a good track record, not does the spread seem warranted. I say -4 tops and thats pushing it IMO. DET ML play as i do the "wrinkle ATS and SPRINKLE ML)

    3. GRIZZ/MAVS UNDER 189 (got on this earlier as it was a LEAN, but i felt like the line would only come down and it has. DIRK is still recovering/battling knee probs, and DALLAS isnt really a youthful bunch. Going against the tough D of MEMPHIS is only gonna soell trouble in this BACK-TO-BACK for the MAVS. As they had enough trouble scoring at HOME against the BUCKS)

    4. GEORGIA/VANDY UNDER 111 (Totally missed this on my LEANS this morning. UGA cant score and neither can VANDY. Both play D. The END!!! Another awful dripping PIG. 1st to 50 wins.....that is if anybody even gets there. This will look like a rec leauge school for ages 8-10)

    5. SDSU/NEW MEXICO OVER 131 (should be plenty of scoring as the LOBOS really bring it at HOME in front of their crowd. SDSU is good enough to keep it close within the +5.5 but i tink the LOBOS score lots tonight)

5-PACK so far. NHL has me torn so i am off of it. GL fellas

i'm leaning on michigan on the road but can't pull the trigger...12.5/13 is a lot of points on the road against a division rivalry and a team that has lost 14 in a row. stupid sh!t happens in these games...the wolverines SHOULD send the lions to the showers for a jerry sandusky type party but will they???

I also like the over in the UCONN game but didn't play it (as of yet) will wait to see if the line moves any...oh, and the Hoyas have 71% of the money on them minus 1.5 with no line movement. If vegas is giving away money then they will be giving away some of mine to the Hoyas backers. lots of road team action and no movement usually means vegas will be stacking the road team wagers up at the end of the night...

    gl what ever you play

UCONN plus 1.5 too much money on gtwn and no line movement. I like UCONN to step it up at home in a big game for them.

ML parlay knicks/rockets - both of these teams play well at home but i cant lay big numbers this late in the season

5 pt teaser nyk -2.5 / rockets -3.5 - like i noted above, i think these numbers are good for the two home teams. nyk have 3 days of rest and houston plays well at home. much more comfortable taking them as smaller home favorites.

Gosh damnit......MY TAINT should be TICKLED PINK!!! Went 2-1-1 on my posyed picks but most of my leans were dead on as they were about 7-3 tonight. Quick recap

WIN - MAGIC/76ers UNDER 187 (just a bunch of underacheiving pigs playing a pick-up game for millions of dollars. No big deal)

LOSS - NEBRASKA/WISCONSIN UNDER 113 (WTF drugs did the GINGER JEW and the BADGERS take today??? They made everything. I had NEBRASKA pegged for mid-40's (scored 46 pts) but not in my wildest dreams did i have WISC scoring 44 1st half pts and finishing with 77 for a team total. Simply disgusting)

PUSH - WAKE/FLA ST. UNDER 138 (didnt look good at half as FSU had a 40-34 lead. Jumped off of FSU -6 for some damn reason tonight. BIG TIME mistake but this game was dripping and should have "came in" like a creampie finishing move by a male pornstar! 74-62 after WF makes a FT with 20 secs left in the game and they foul? Intentionally f'ing fould down 12 with 17 secs left? Get a life you pricks and go find some Sorority skanks to explore from the local campus. Dont do that to me. Naturally FSU hits their 2 FT's pushing me on the total. Damn college pricks)

WIN - CAPS/CANES UNDER 5.5 (Nice blank job by WSH as they donut hole the CA-CANES 3-0)

Took some personal plays for a better night, but upset i got hosed on WF/FSU and took off TENN +9 as those pricks won SU and jumped off of the BAMA UNDER which came in rather easily, but still a solid night. Hope all did well. WET MY WHISTLE is ome deck 2morrow GL
