This is a 2024 NFL Mock Re-Draft of Rounds 2 and 3 for Friday evening’s 2024 NFL Draft coverage. With all of the trades that will go down, I don’t expect to get many of these right – I nailed eight in my Re-Draft Rounds 2-3 in 2018 -, but it’s still fun to speculate where the top prospects will go on Day 2 of the 2024 NFL Draft.

Buffalo Bills: Ladd McConkey, WR, Georgia
Relax, Buffalo fans, your team will get a receiver soon – perhaps with this pick! Charlie mentioned Ladd McConkey and Keon Coleman as possibilities for the Bills with this pick.
Ladd McConkey projects as a gritty slot receiver at the next level.

New England Patriots: Troy Franklin, WR, Oregon
It almost doesn’t matter who’s at quarterback; the Patriots need to improve their dreadful receiving corps.
Troy Franklin has great size and the ability to be an underneath receiver.
Arizona Cardinals: Johnny Newton, DT, Illinois
The Cardinals already drafted Darius Robinson, but they could be interested in another defensive lineman because they’re so weak in that area.
Washington Redskins: Kool-Aid McKinstry, CB, Alabama
The Redskins had one of the worst pass defenses in the NFL last year, so they’ll have to focus on upgrading their secondary.
Los Angeles Chargers: Kris Jenkins, DT, Michigan
The Chargers have great edge talent, but they could stand to improve the interior of their defensive line.
Like his father, Kris Jenkins Jr. is a disruptive interior presence.
Tennessee Titans: Junior Colson, LB, Michigan
The Titans have such issues at linebacker that they signed Kenneth Murray to be a starter. That won’t end well.
Junior Colson is a big linebacker who defends the run well.
Carolina Panthers: Zach Frazier, C, West Virginia
The Panthers paid big money to two guards in free agency. Now, they need an upgrade at center, as Austin Corbett has had two knee surgeries in two years.
Washington Redskins: Kiran Amegadjie, OT, Yale
It would be irresponsible of the Redskins to draft a quarterback at No. 2 and not provide him with a better left tackle than what they have now.
Kiran Amegadjie is a bit of a project, but he’s a big and lengthy prospect with a good skill set.
Green Bay Packers: Cooper DeJean, S/CB, Iowa
The Packers easily could have drafted Cooper DeJean at No. 25. Instead, they get a great value by taking him in the second round.
Houston Texans: Ennis Rakestraw Jr., CB, Missouri
The Texans could stand to bolster their secondary, given how much receiving talent was added to the AFC South recently.
Atlanta Falcons: Kamari Lassiter, CB, Georgia
The Falcons don’t have a very good group of cornerbacks outside of A.J. Terrell.
Kamari Lassiter has the upside to be a cover cornerback in the NFL.
Las Vegas Raiders: Patrick Paul, OT, Houston
The Raiders really wanted Paris Johnson in the 2023 NFL Draft, but the Cardinals sniped him off the board via trade. Here’s another tackle.
Patrick Paul has plus athleticism and length.
New Orleans Saints: Cam Hart, CB, Notre Dame
The Saints struggled at cornerback across from Marshon Lattimore, so the position could be addressed soon.
Cam Hart is a big cornerback who limited Marvin Harrison Jr.
Indianapolis Colts: Adonai Mitchell, WR, Texas
The Colts have made it clear that they want to find another receiver to help Anthony Richardson. This is a great opportunity for them.
New York Giants: Tyler Nubin, S, Minnesota
The Giants lost Xavier McKinney, so they have a huge need at safety.
Tyler Nubin is a big safety who is physical and instinctive.
Jacksonville Jaguars: Maason Smith, DT, LSU
Jacksonville needs as much talent as possible up front to pressure the talented quarterbacks in their division.
Maason Smith has a big and lengthy frame and great athleticism, but he missed most of the ’22 season with a torn ACL.
Cincinnati Bengals: T'Vondre Sweat, DT, Texas
Cincinnati had one of the worst run defenses in the NFL this past season.
T’Vondre Sweat is a massive player and a great athlete for a player his size. He has drawn comparisons to Jordan Davis.
Philadelphia Eagles: Jalyx Hunt, DE, Houston Baptist
It would be an upset if the Eagles emerged out of the second round without an offensive or a defensive lineman.
Pittsburgh Steelers: Malachi Corley, WR, Western Kentucky
Diontae Johnson is gone, so the Steelers will need to find a new receiver.
Adonai Mitchell has mismatch size and speed. He has huge upside.
Los Angeles Rams: Jackson Powers-Johnson, C, Oregon
The Rams need to shore up their offensive line by adding one more interior player.
Philadelphia Eagles: Javon Bullard, CB/S, Georgia
The Eagles had horrific play from their cornerbacks this year. They’ll need to address the position on multiple occasions this offseason.
Javon Bullard is a safety or a nickel cornerback who projects similarly to Chauncey Gardner-Johnson.
Cleveland Browns: Chris Braswell, OLB, Alabama
The Browns have a bunch of aging pass rushers, so they can afford to draft a young player who can get to the quarterback.
Miami Dolphins: Braden Fiske, DT, Florida State
The Dolphins need defensive line help in the wake of losing Christian Wilkins and others this offseason.
Braden Fiske is a quick, athletic interior pass rusher.
Dallas Cowboys: Jonathon Brooks, RB, Texas
Tony Pollard was a huge bust, so the Cowboys will be looking for a new running back.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Edgerrin Cooper, LB, Texas A&M
The Buccaneers lost Devin White this offseason. Lavonte David doesn’t have much time remaining. Linebacker help is needed.
Edgerrin Cooper is an explosive linebacker with huge upside.
Green Bay Packers: Cole Bishop, S, Utah
The Packers have issues at safety that they needed to address earlier.
Cole Bishop makes plays all over the field.
Houston Texans: Payton Wilson, LB, N.C. State
The Texans lost plenty of linebacker talent, so they’ll need to find replacements – starting with this selection.
Buffalo Bills: Marshawn Kneeland, DE, Western Michigan
Marshawn Kneeland wasn’t overly productive at Western Michigan, but looked good at the Senior Bowl.
Detroit Lions: Keon Coleman, WR, Florida State
Jameson Williams has been a big disappointment thus far. The Lions need another receiver with Josh Reynolds gone.
Keon Coleman is a massive receiver with quickness and good ball skills.
Baltimore Ravens: Roger Rosengarten, OT, Washington
The Ravens lost three offensive linemen this offseason, so they’ll have to find some blockers in the early rounds.
Roger Rosengarten protected Michael Penix’s blind side well. He has the potential to play guard as well.
San Francisco 49ers: Ruke Orhorhoro, DT, Clemson
The 49ers love addressing the trenches early, so look for them to do that after using their first-round pick on a receiver.
Kansas City Chiefs: Kingsley Suamataia, OT, BYU
Andy Reid almost has to make this pick. He loves bolstering the trenches, and the offensive line was an issue last year.
