The Panthers traded away Donte Jackson, so they’ll need to find a new cornerback at some point.

Elijah Jones is a tall cornerback with plus length.

If you haven’t visited the site in a while, you may have noticed the new look. Yes, after nearly two decades, we’ve finally re-designed our site to be more modern. This was not done on a whim, but rather out of necessity because of what occurred during the 2023 NFL Draft. Our site crashed during the entire first day of the draft, which was disastrous for our revenue stream because we make more money during the draft than any other time. The site crashed because a line of code conflicted with the old format of the site, so we had to transition to this new look.

Because we lost so much money during the draft, I want to point out that you can really help support the site by paying for the ad-free version of it at the top. It’s $7.99 per month, but you’ll get a super-fast site with no ads. If you don’t want to pay, please spread the word about the site through word of mouth. That would also be a big help!

Follow @walterfootball for updates.

Also, if you’d like to support the site, check out my book! It’s available on Amazon, and it’s called A Safety and a Field Goal.

Take a look:

A Safety and a Field Goal

You can buy it here. It has some NFL Draft-related topics, so like I said, if you want to support the site, this is a great way to do it!

NFL Team Logo for Seahawks Seattle Seahawks: Grayson Murphy, DE, UCLA Image for UCLA

The Seahawks aren’t going to beat the 49ers or Rams if they can’t pressure Brock Purdy or Matthew Stafford.

Grayson Murphy looks to be a sleeper in the middle rounds of the draft. He impressed at the East-West Shrine game.

NFL Team Logo for Patriots New England Patriots: Jaheim Bell, TE, Florida State Image for FSU

The Patriots re-signed Hunter Henry, but they’ll need to think about finding a young tight end.

Jaheim Bell is a physical player who runs well after the catch.

NFL Team Logo for Cardinals Arizona Cardinals: Bucky Irving, RB, Oregon Image for ORE

Arizona’s offense took a huge hit last year when James Conner was sidelined.

Bucky Irving is a shifty runner who has the quickness to get to the next level.

NFL Team Logo for Chargers Los Angeles Chargers: Mohamed Kamara, DE/OLB, Colorado State Image for

The Chargers may lose one of Joey Bosa or Khalil Mack in the near future.

Mohamed Kamara projects as a 3-4 player only, but he has dangerous pass-rushing ability.

NFL Team Logo for Titans Tennessee Titans: Kris Abrams-Draine, CB, Missouri Image for Mizz

There are so many new talented receivers in the AFC South, so better cornerback play is needed.

Kris Abrams-Draine has plus athleticism, but needs to get stronger for the NFL.

NFL Team Logo for Giants New York Giants: Audric Estime, RB, Notre Dame Image for ND

The Giants will miss Saquon Barkley, so adding a running back makes a lot of sense.

Audric Estime is a powerful downhill runner who has quickness to hit the hole.

NFL Team Logo for Vikings Minnesota Vikings: Jordan Jefferson, DT, LSU Image for LSU

The Vikings lost a lot of defensive line talent recently, so that group must be replenished.

Jordan Jefferson is a tough run defender.

Pick change; previously Maason Smith, DT

NFL Team Logo for Falcons Atlanta Falcons: Xavier Weaver, WR, Colorado Image for CU

The Falcons signed Darnell Mooney, but he’s not enough to strengthen the receiving corps.

Xavier Weaver was a reliable weapon for Shedeur Sanders.

Pick change; previously Jordan Jefferson, DT

Jim Harbaugh said he wants to beef up the offensive line.

Beaux Limmer needs to add some weight to his frame.

Dominick Puni played both left and right tackle and was dependable at Kansas.

Pick change; previously Brenden Rice, WR

NFL Team Logo for Raiders Las Vegas Raiders: Will Shipley, RB, Clemson Image for Clem

The Raiders don’t have much at running back, so they must address the position early in the 2024 NFL Draft.

Will Shipley was an efficient runner and a quality pass-catcher in college.

Pick change; previously Christian Haynes, G

NFL Team Logo for Ravens Baltimore Ravens: Layden Robinson, G, Texas A&M Image for TA&M

The Ravens lost three offensive linemen in free agency, so they’ll need to find some new blockers.

Layden Robinson isn’t very athletic, but he’s a violent blocker who has impressed this season.

NFL Team Logo for Jaguars Jacksonville Jaguars: Tanor Bortolini, C/G, Wisconsin Image for WISC

The Jaguars didn’t give Trevor Lawrence the best protection last year, so that needs to change.

Tanor Bortolini played all three interior spots on Wisconsin’s offensive line.

NFL Team Logo for Bengals Cincinnati Bengals: Nathaniel Watson, OLB/ILB, Mississippi State Image for MSU

The Bengals could stand to add another edge rusher.

Nathaniel Watson is a tackling machine who made tons of splash plays for Mississippi State. He had a strong week at the Senior Bowl.

NFL Team Logo for Jaguars Jacksonville Jaguars: Michael Hall Jr., DT, Ohio State Image for OSU

Another defensive tackle for the Jaguars, who have never been the same defensively since losing Calais Campbell.

Michael Hall Jr. is a bit light, but he is incredibly fast off the ball and has great playmaking ability.

NFL Team Logo for Colts Indianapolis Colts: Frank Gore Jr., RB, Southern Miss Image for

Zack Moss is gone, so the Colts will need another running back behind Jonathan Taylor.

Frank Gore Jr. is a small, but tough runner with good instincts.

NFL Team Logo for Seahawks Seattle Seahawks: Matt Goncalves, OT, Pittsburgh Image for PITT

Yet another offensive lineman for the Seahawks, who need to strengthen the area of their roster.

Matt Goncalves is big, but has enough movement skills to stay on the edge.

Pick change; previously Sam Hartman, QB

NFL Team Logo for Steelers Pittsburgh Steelers: Mason McCormick, G, South Dakota State Image for

The Steelers are another team with major offensive line issues, so they could spend multiple picks on blockers.

Pick change; previously T.J. Tampa, CB

The Eagles can continue to add to their secondary, as they need some help at safety as well.

Tykee Smith is short, but has good instincts.

Denver has some depth issues in the secondary that need to be addressed.

Marcellas Dial has a good blend of size, athleticism, and speed.

NFL Team Logo for Bears Chicago Bears: Brandon Dorlus, DT, Oregon Image for ORE

The Bears don’t have much in their defensive interior, so they could address this area much earlier.

Brandon Dorlus is strong and disruptive at the point of attack.

NFL Team Logo for Texans Houston Texans: Jackson Sirmon, LB, California Image for CAL

Denzel Perryman is a short-term solution at linebacker. The Texans could use someone at the position for the long haul.

Jackson Sirmon is a quick and instinctive linebacker.

NFL Team Logo for 49ers San Francisco 49ers: Trevin Wallace, OLB, Kentucky Image for Ken

Dre Greenlaw suffered an injury, so the 49ers will have to consider a linebacker at some point.

The Buccaneers may lose some linebackers to free agency this offseason, so here’s a potential replacement.

Jeremiah Trotter has been able to flash all over the field.

The Packers could add a tight end in the middle rounds to give “No Cookie” Jordan Love another option.

NFL Team Logo for Texans Houston Texans: Ray Davis, RB, Kentucky Image for Ken

Joe Mixon was signed, but he has struggled in the past two years.

Ray Davis is a very physical back who can catch passes well.

NFL Team Logo for Bills Buffalo Bills: Johnny Dixon, CB, Penn State Image for PSU

The Bills lost Tre’Davious White, so they’ll be looking for some cornerback help.

Johnny Dixon is a very quick and instinctive cornerback.

NFL Team Logo for Vikings Minnesota Vikings: Jawhar Jordan, RB, Louisville Image for LOU

The Vikings signed Aaron Jones, but that was just for a 1-year deal.

Jawhar Jordan is a quick, explosive back, but can’t shoulder an entire workload.

Pick change; previously Xavier Weaver, WR

NFL Team Logo for Ravens Baltimore Ravens: Fabien Lovett, DT, Florida State Image for FSU

The Ravens may want to add some depth on the defensive line.

Fabien Lovett dealt with injuries in his final season. He’s also had weight problems in the past.

NFL Team Logo for Chiefs Kansas City Chiefs: Carson Steele, RB, UCLA Image for UCLA

The Chiefs need to get better depth behind Isiah Pacheco.

Carson Steele has a nice frame and plus receiving ability.

See where I have the Chiefs in my updated NFL Power Rankings.

NFL Team Logo for 49ers San Francisco 49ers: Cornelius Johnson, WR, Michigan Image for MICH

The 49ers are top heavy at receiver, but don’t have much depth at the position.

Cornelius Johnson has mismatch size, but wasn’t overly productive in school.

Evan Williams was a solid safety for Oregon, but will have to play special teams to begin his career.

Michael Pratt was a consistent quarterback at Tulane, but didn’t stand out at the Senor Bowl.
