2025 Fantasy Football Stock Report: Training Camp

Anthony Richardson

With players beginning to practice, there will be updates daily to this 2025 Fantasy Football Training Camp Stock page for any news in the meantime.

If there’s an injury or a player surprising/disappointing, I’ll let you know about it and adjust my 2025 Fantasy Football Rankings accordingly. Follow me @walterfootball for updates.

Aug. 18

Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Redskins
The Redskins are shopping Brian Robinson Jr. to teams around the NFL, according to Jordan Schultz. This goes with the story we discussed on Aug. 14. Jacory Crosky-Merritt is a must-draft in the double digit rounds.

Malik Nabers, WR, Giants
Malik Nabers is dealing with back tightness and hasn’t practiced in 11 days. This isn’t great, but Nabers could still suit up for Week 1.

Aug. 17

De’Von Achane, RB, Dolphins
De’Von Achane has a soft-tissue lower-body injury, but Mike McDaniel said he’s not concerned about Achane’s Week 1 availability. McDaniel said Achane could be out between “days and weeks,” whatever that means.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Rams
In the latest update in the Matthew Stafford saga, a Rams spokesperson declined to comment if Stafford worked out as scheduled on Saturday. As Scott Barrett said on X, there are some major Christian McCaffrey vibes with this injury.

Aug. 16

Joe Mixon, RB, Texans
Joe Mixon isn’t considered a lock to play in Week 1, according to Aaron Wilson. This is hardly a surprise. Mixon shouldn’t be counted on to play in September, and he could easily aggravate the injury when he returns to action.

Rashee Rice, WR, Chiefs
The NFL has proposed a 10-game suspension for Rashee Rice. While it’s unlikely that Rice actually serves 10 games, the length of this proposal means that Rice might get six, or even eight games. This situation obviously helps Xavier Worthy, Travis Kelce, and either Jalen Royals or Tyquan Thornton.

Aug. 15

A.J. Brown, WR, Eagles
A.J. Brown missed practice Thursday with what is assumed to be a setback with his hamstring. This is becoming worrisome. Brown could miss some time, which would elevate DeVonta Smith.

Luther Burden, WR, Bears
Luther Burden can’t crack the first team because of how good Olamide Zaccheaus has been. That’s not a good sign, though Burden will eventually move past Zaccheaus.

Josh Downs, WR, Colts
Josh Downs suffered a hamstring issue in practice. It’s unclear how severe it is at the moment, though soft-tissue injuries tend to linger. If Downs misses time, Tyler Warren and Adonai Mitchell will benefit most.

Quinshon Judkins, RB, Browns
Charges against Quinshon Judkins will not be pursued. It sounds like someone was paid off. Regardless, Judkins is now on the table as a draftable player again, though he could face a suspension. This is obviously a big blow to Dylan Sampson.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Rams
In yet another Matthew Stafford update, Sean McVay said that Stafford has an issue with both pain and functionality when it comes to his back. It’s difficult to draft Puka Nacua and Davante Adams at their current ADPs.

Aug. 14

James Cook, RB, Bills
James Cook finally signed his contract, which will end his holdout. I’m still worried that Cook will suffer an injury because he’s missed so much practice time, but at least his fantasy owners know that he will be on the field come Week 1.

Jacory Croskey-Merritt, RB, Redskins
Ben Standig of the Athletic, who covers the Redskins, predicted that Brian Robinson Jr. will not be on the final 53-man roster by the start of the season. It’s unclear if Robinson will be cut or traded, but this obviously makes Jacory Croskey-Merritt a must-draft player in the double-digit rounds.

Aug. 13

Braelon Allen, RB, Jets
As Mike Luchene pointed out in his latest fantasy football video, there’s a good chance Breece Hall will be traded during the season, which would obviously elevate Braelon Allen.

Jordan Love, QB, Packers
“No Cookie” Jordan Love will undergo thumb surgery on his non-throwing hand. It’s at least a positive that it wasn’t the thumb on the throwing hand, but Love could miss a game or two because he won’t be able to handle snaps with a healing thumb.

Darnell Mooney, WR, Falcons
Darnell Mooney will “play at some point” this year, according to head coach Raheem Morris. Well, that’s not the most bullish report. It’s unclear how long Mooney will be sidelined.

Aug. 12

Tank Bigsby, RB, Jaguars
Travis Etienne is handling the first-team snaps in training camp once again. Etienne was featured in the first preseason game, and that continued in the succeeding practices. Bigsby should be dropped in rankings, but please don’t draft Etienne because he’s not a good football player.

Breece Hall, RB, Jets
Breece Hall received just 50 percent of the starter snaps in the preseason. Specifically, he did not play any third downs. While this may not mean a whole lot because it’s only one game, Aaron Glenn has been talking about having a multi-back rotation.

Tory Horton, WR, Seahawks
Tory Horton continues to “make plays,” according to a report from ESPN. Horton was awesome in the opening preseason game, and he has continued to dominate in practice. He’s worth a late-round flier as Seattle’s possible No. 2 receiver.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Rams
Matthew Stafford was supposed to return to practice Monday, but didn’t feel good enough to do so. Sean McVay told the media that the team will be “flexible and fluid” with him. This is obviously a troubling situation.

Aug. 11

Bucky Irving, RB, Buccaneers
Rachaad White will undergo tests on his groin. White also played with the backups in Tampa Bay’s first preseason game, so if there was any concern that White would steal touches from Bucky Irving, that’s now gone. This news helps Sean Tucker as well.

Aug. 10

Jayden Reed, WR, Packers
Jayden Reed is in a walking boot and is in danger of missing Week 1. Reed is already being drafted too high because he doesn’t play in two-wide receiver sets, so perhaps this will put his ADP into a reasonable area.

Aug. 8

Justin Herbert, QB, Chargers
Rashawn Slater is out for the year, which will be a huge hit to Justin Herbert’s pass protection.

Jauan Jennings, WR, 49ers
There’s no timetable for Jauan Jennings’ return from his calf injury, according to John Lynch. This situation is becoming worrisome, though there’s still time for Jennings to be cleared.

Aug. 7

Emeka Egbuka, WR, Buccaneers
Emeka Egbuka has been the Buccaneers’ standout performer, according to ESPN’s Jenna Laine. Egbuka is high in our rankings, so it’s nice to see him performing well at training camp.

Matthew Golden, WR, Packers
Jordan Love told the media that Matthew Golden will be a “stud” after being the very impressive at training camp. Golden is having a great camp by all accounts and should be the first Packer wide receiver off the board in Rounds 7-8.

Chris Godwin, WR, Buccaneers
There’s a chance Chris Godwin could miss a couple of games to start the season, according to ESPN’s Dan Graziano. A month ago, Godwin was iffy for Week 1, and now he may miss a couple of games. This sounds an awful lot like Christian McCaffrey from a year ago.

Tyreek Hill, WR, Dolphins
Tyreek Hill is having issues with the Dolphins. He’s acted out in front of the media, shown up to practice late, and is now missing time with an injury. On top of all that, he’s a 31-year-old receiver relying on speed who needs his injury-prone quarterback to remain healthy.

Adonai Mitchell, WR, Colts
Adonai Mitchell has thrived at Colts training camp. Mitchell had some big games last year, but was ultimately buried on the depth chart. That may happen again, but Mitchell has a better shot at fighting for playing time now that he has experience. At the very least, this could hurt the other wide receivers on the roster.

Cam Skattebo, RB, Giants
Cam Skattebo will out with a hamstring injury. It’s unclear what the timeline for this is, but it’s more bad news for Skattebo after a report yesterday confirmed that Tyrone Tracy is firmly in place as the RB1.

Mason Taylor, TE, Jets
Mason Taylor suffered a high-ankle sprain and will miss a few weeks. This is a shame for Taylor, who has looked good in training camp.

Aug. 6

Jaydon Blue, RB, Cowboys
Jaydon Blue continues to get first-team reps in training camp. Blue is the most explosive running back the Cowboys have, so you should target him ahead of his Round 11 ADP.

Tre Harris, WR, Chargers
Keenan Allen signed with the Chargers. This is bad news for all Charger receivers, namely the two rookies.

Matthew Stafford, QB, Rams
Matthew Stafford continues to miss practice with his back injury, which it difficult for him to do normal things. Stafford is even having issues walking, according to some reports.

Tyrone Tracy, RB, Giants
Tyrone Tracy will be the Giants’ lead back in 2025, according to Jordan Raanan of ESPN. Raanan has been one of the most accurate team reporters, so I would trust him. Raanan also stated that Cam Skattebo was never going to be a significant part of New York’s rushing attack. This is a massive “L” for people who were drafting Skattebo way too early.

Aug. 5

Matthew Golden, WR, Packers
Matthew Golden has been enjoying a stellar training camp. There’s been some concern with Golden and his lack of production at Texas outside of some games last year, but he’s looking great thus far. He, unlike Jayden Reed, is playing in two-wide receiver sets.

Breece Hall, RB, Jets
It sounds as though the Jets will deploy a two-running back rotation, as Aaron Glenn wants to duplicate how Detroit’s offense functioned. This will obviously adversely impact Breece Hall, who is being chosen late in the third round.

R.J. Harvey, RB, Broncos
J.K. Dobbins is looking like Denver’s RB1 until R.J. Harvey improves in pass protection, according to reports. This shouldn’t be a surprise, but keep in mind that Sean Payton loves utilizing multiple running backs. He may want to recreate the Mark Ingram-Alvin Kamara platoon he possessed in New Orleans years ago.

Bucky Irving, RB, Buccaneers
Bucky Irving is viewed in the building as great enough to warrant a high-volume RB1 role, according to an ESPN report. Some people are worried about Rachaad White’s involvement again, but Irving looks like a potential top-five fantasy player, regardless of position. It wouldn’t be surprising if White is traded at some point this year.

Aug. 4

James Conner, RB, Cardinals
James Conner told the media that he expects to split touches with Trey Benson this year. Conner is 30, so it’s only natural that his workload would diminish a bit.

Woody Marks, RB, Texans
Woody Marks needs a stock-up arrow because of the running backs around him. Joe Mixon is dealing with a foot injury that could sideline him for a while. Nick Chubb is there, but he has no burst at all, according to reports. The Texans could trade for a running back, but Marks is currently the Houston running back to own.

Isiah Pacheco, RB, Chiefs
Isiah Pacheco looks much improved in his route running, according to reports. It was unclear if Pacheco would bounce back from injury, but it appears as though he’s a good value in the seventh round.

Aug. 2

Troy Franklin, WR, Broncos
There have been positive reports on Troy Franklin in training camp. Franklin has packed on some weight and has impressed in practices. He might make for a decent final pick in drafts.

Anthony Richardson, QB, Colts
Anthony Richardson has improved throughout training camp and has taken football seriously by all accounts. We’ll see if this translates to real playing action, but it sounds like he’ll be the starter in Week 1.

Matthew Staford, QB, Rams
Matthew Stafford was expected to return to practice Monday from his back injury, but has been ruled out for the rest of the week. This is becoming a concern, so Stafford and his receivers might have to be downgraded soon.

Aug. 1

Jauan Jennings, WR, 49ers
Jauan Jennings suffered a setback with his calf injury. There’s still plenty of time for him to recover, but it’s a slight concern. This should push Ricky Pearsall ahead of Jennings.

Dalton Kincaid, TE, Bills
Dalton Kincaid has been dealing with a knee issue on the same leg in which he suffered a PCL injury last year. It seems as though he’s OK for now, but he could suffer a setback.

July 31

Jayden Blue, RB, Cowboys
Jayden Blue got reps with the first-team offense in practice, according to reporter Clarence Hill. While Hill is an insane individual who belongs in a mental ward, but I’m a big fan of Blue as a player who could have a big second half of the year.

Quentin Johnston, WR, Chargers
Quentin Johnston is enjoying a terrific training camp. We’ll see if that continues when the lights come on, but Johnston will be looking to replicate Reggie Wayne, who struggled in his first two seasons and then took off to have a Hall of Fame career.

Isaiah Likely, TE, Ravens
Isaiah Likely will have surgery on his ankle. He could return for Week 1, but it’s more likely that he won’t be ready until Week 3 or so.

July 30

R.J. Harvey, RB, Broncos
R.J. Harvey has enjoyed some terrific performances in training camp practices thus far. Sean Payton wants to run multiple backs, so don’t expect him to handle the workload on his own. However, Harvey’s outlook is better now, as it seems as though he’ll be one of the top two backs.

Isaiah Likely, TE, Ravens
Isaiah Likely will be out a few weeks with an ankle injury. It’s unclear if he’ll be back for Week 1.

David Montgomery, RB, Lions
David Montgomery is no longer the first running back on the field. Jahmyr Gibbs is now getting the first-team looks. Montgomery’s stock has taken a serious hit with Ben Johnson and two interior linemen both gone.

July 29

Malik Nabers, WR, Giants
Malik Nabers told the media that his toe injury is like a mosquito and it “won’t go away.” Nabers will play through the injury, but if the Giants are awful, they could decide to shut him down late in the season.

Cam Skattebo, RB, Giants
Cam Skattebo has been playing with the first team and has been impressive in training camp practices. I’ve been anti-Skattebo because he’s been drafted so early, but this may have been an incorrect evaluation.

July 28

Jaydon Blue, RB, Cowboys
Jaydon Blue has impressed in training camp practices thus far. So much for his laziness! Blue is the best player to own in Dallas’ underwhelming running back corps.

Ricky Pearsall, WR, 49ers
Ricky Pearsall has been activated from the PUP list. There was some concern with Pearsall’s hamstring, but this is not another Christian McCaffrey situation.

July 27

Tank Bigsby, RB, Jaguars
Tank Bigsby has impressive in training camp thus far, according to reports. By contrast, Travis Etienne has disappointed. Etienne should not be drafted, while Bigsby is a fine late-round choice.

Joe Mixon, RB, Texans
Joe Mixon will be out at least six weeks with a foot injury. This is obviously not good news. Six weeks puts us at Sept. 7, which is the Sunday of Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season. Mixon is pushing to play in Week 1, but if he tries to return too early, he could aggravate the injury or suffer some other malady.

July 26

Jacory Crosky-Merritt, RB, Redskins
There have been multiple positive reports on Jacory Crosky-Merritt thus far in training camp, with some beat writers suggesting he could start at some point in 2025.

Drake Maye, QB, Patriots
Drake Maye has reportedly improved his processing speed this offseaon. Maye, who is one of my top quarterback sleepers, is off to a good start at training camp.

Darnell Mooney, WR, Falcons
Darnell Mooney reportedly has a shoulder injury that will last most of training camp. That is not something Mooney fans will want to hear, though there’s a chance he’ll be ready for Week 1.

July 24

Luther Burden, WR, Bears
Luther Burden isn’t practicing to begin training camp. This is true for many players, but it’s notable for Burden because he missed most of mini-camps, promoting Ben Johnson to criticize the rookie for not being on the field.

Malik Nabers, WR, Giants
Malik Nabers is practicing fully to begin training camp. Some thought Nabers’ toe injury would lead to him missing some action, but that apparently is not the case.

July 23

Emeka Egbuka, WR, Buccaneers
Chris Godwin reportedly underwent a second ankle procedure in the spring and doesn’t appear close to practicing. Emeka Egbuka is looking better and better.

Ashton Jeanty, RB, Raiders
Appearing on the WalterFootball.com After Dark Show, Charlie Campbell, the most accurate NFL Draft analyst in the world, said that there was concern with Ashton Jeanty not having the full trust of the Raiders to begin the season. Campbell noted that Jeanty could be more full go later in the year, but the first round was too early for him.

Jauan Jennings, WR, 49ers
Kyle Shanahan told the media that Jauan Jennings hasn’t requested a trade. This is a complete 180 from what we heard earlier from Jennings, but it’s good news nonetheless.

Dont’e Thornton, WR, Raiders
Appearing on the WalterFootball.com After Dark Show, Charlie Campbell, the most accurate NFL Draft analyst in the world, said that sources told him that the hype around Dont’e Thornton was real, and that Thornton could be a special player.

July 22

Chase Brown, RB, Bengals
Chase Brown will be one of the “focal points” of the Bengals offense, according to offensive coordinator Dan Pitcher. It’s normally best to ignore what coaches say in the offseason, but this is pretty much confirming what we already suspected. Brown is due for a big season.

Omarion Hampton, RB, Chargers
The Chargers signed Nyheim Hines. Perhaps this is just a random signing, but there’s a chance that this is a sign that Najee Harris’ eye injury is much worse than we were told.

Terry McLaurin, WR, Redskins
Terry McLaurin said he will explore all options for his new contract, including holding out, demanding a trade, or holding in. We still have a month and a half to go, but each day puts McLaurin at greater risk of either not playing for the Redskins, or suffering an injury because he’s not working out with the team.

July 21

Elijah Arroyo, TE, Seahawks
The Seahawks have released Noah Fant. This is bullish for Elijah Arroyo’s prospects. Arroyo is a second-round rookie with plenty of upside.

July 19

Jaydon Blue, RB, Cowboys
Former Cowboys coach Glenn Smith said that Jaydon Blue is “borderline lazy.” He also noted that the Cowboys aren’t happy with Blue’s work ethic. Blue should probably be avoided in drafts.

Ricky Pearsall, WR, 49ers
Ricky Pearsall was placed on the active/PUP list because of a hamstring issue. I’m not going to move Pearsall down my rankings for the time being, but soft-tissue injuries can linger. This is something to monitor for now.

July 18

Omarion Hampton, RB, Chargers
Najee Harris has been placed on the active/non-football injury list in the wake of his fireworks-related injury. Harris, an adult man who is fascinated by bright colors and loud sounds, could be activated at any moment, but each day on the injury list is an opportunity for Omarion Hampton to seize the job.

Quinshon Judkins, RB, Browns
Another Quinshon Judkins update: Mary Kay Cabot of Cleveland.com has reported that the Browns are in no rush to sign Judkins or get him to camp by Friday. Cabot mentioned that the Browns have taken extra steps to address domestic violence over the past two years, so this was already a sensitive issue for them. There’s a chance Judkins won’t play a single snap this year. Jerome Ford and Dylan Sampson stand to benefit, but neither is a great fantasy option.

Rashee Rice, WR, Chiefs
Rashee Rice has been sentenced to five years probation and 30 days of jail time for his involvement in a car crash in Dallas. It was reported incorrectly by ESPN that Rice wouldn’t be sentenced until 2026, but this has been proven to be incorrect. Rice can now be suspended for multiple games, which is a huge blow for his fantasy outlook this season.

Anthony Richardson, RB, Colts
Anthony Richardson has resumed throwing after missing some time with a shoulder injury. Given that he’s been able to return to action before training camp, there’s a chance he’ll win the starting job for Week 1. The competition is wide open, however.

July 17

Omarion Hampton, RB, Chargers
Najee Harris suffered a fireworks incident on July 4 weekend and may miss training camp. It’s not clear why Harris, as a grown man, was so fascinated by bright lights and loud sounds, but he could miss action as a result. This could open the door for Omarion Hampton to emerge as the lead back with the Chargers.

Jahmyr Gibbs, RB, Lions
Jahmyr Gibbs has been splitting out wide more often in mini-camp. This is not a promising development for Gibbs in Johnny Morton’s new stint as Detroit’s offensive coordinator. Everyone is drafting Gibbs in the No. 5-7 range as if he’s just going to repeat what he did with Ben Johnson and an elite offensive line, when neither is present in Detroit anymore.

Quinshon Judkins, RB, Browns
More information has come out on Quinshon Judkins’ domestic violence arrest, and it doesn’t sound pretty. It would be surprising if Judkins doesn’t miss at least a portion of the 2025 season, which would open the door for Dylan Sampson to take the job.

July 13

Quinshon Judkins, RB, Browns
Quinshon Judkins was arrested for domestic violence. While we don’t know if Judkins is guilty of this, he certainly comes with much more risk as a player who was being drafted in the sixth round. Judkins should be downgraded until more is known about this development. Dylan Sampson, Cleveland’s fourth-round rookie, also gets a bump.

July 12

Christian McCaffrey, RB, 49ers
Christian McCaffrey looks healthy and explosive, according to Kyle Juszczyk. While any report this time of year should be taken with a grain of salt, especially when it comes from another player, but there’s obviously a huge difference between this and last year’s offseason concerning McCaffrey.

July 11

Mike Evans, WR, Buccaneers
Tristan Wirfs will be sidelined at least a couple of weeks during the regular season. While this won’t make or break Mike Evans’ 2025 campaign, it could ding him a bit in the first couple of weeks if Baker Mayfield’s pass protection is diminished. I was already down on Evans, so I had no interest in him at his ADP anyway.

Quinshon Judkins, RB, Browns
Jerome Ford is the favorite to start for the Browns early in the season, according to the Athletic. This is obviously a bearish report for Quinshon Judkins, which can serve as a reminder to be careful with rookies in the early rounds.

Christian Kirk, WR, Texans
Christian Kirk has been a safety blanket for C.J. Stroud in mini-camp, according to an ESPN report. While this is a nice story, it won’t have much relevance for Kirk in fantasy football. More significantly, it could be harmful for Jaylin Noel.

Brashard Smith, RB, Chiefs
The Chiefs “have plans” for Brashard Smith, according to an ESPN report. This means using him in the slot, apparently. Smith won’t have much value unless Isiah Pacheco gets hurt, but there’s a chance that Pacheco won’t be 100 percent.

Dont’e Thornton, WR, Raiders
Dont’e Thornton has made a strong case to be a Day 1 contributor for the Raiders, according to an ESPN report. Thornton has been running with the first-team offense, so he’s being asked to step up as a rookie.

June 30

De’Von Achane, Tyreek Hill, Jaylen Waddle, RB/WR, Dolphins
Jonnu Smith consumed 111 targets and caught 88 passes as a member of the Dolphins last year. Those targets have to go somewhere, and it won’t be to a tight end because the Dolphins currently have no one viable at the position. That could change via a trade, but as for now, De’Von Achane, Tyreek Hill, and Jaylen Waddle will see an uptick in projected targets. Keep in mind, however, that there are many other reasons to be bearish on these players, so I still wouldn’t recommend drafting them at their current ADPs.

Pat Freiermuth, Jonnu Smith, TEs, Steelers
Condolences to anyone who drafted these tight ends in fantasy leagues or best ball. Pat Freiermuth will obviously lose targets to Jonnu Smith, particularly in the end zone. Smith, meanwhile, won’t have the same volume he received in Miami. He’ll be heavily involved in the offense, but he won’t receive 111 targets like he did in 2024.

June 21

Tyreek Hill, WR, Dolphins
Tua Tagovailoa is reportedly working to get the ball out quicker, likely because of the offensive line issues. This is obviously bad news for Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle. Both are overdrafted.

Darius Slayton, WR, Giants
Darius Slayton has established a strong connection with Russell Wilson thus far, according to ESPN’s Jordan Ranaan. Slayton isn’t viable for regular leagues, but he has some late-round best ball appeal because he tends to have some spike weeks.

Dont’e Thornton, WR, Raiders
Dont’e Thornton has become a top target for Geno Smith, according to a team reporter. Thornton has insane athleticism and upside, so he could have a big year despite being just a fourth-round rookie. He’s a sleeper to look for late in drafts.

June 17

Jordan Addison, WR, Vikings
Jordan Addison’s DUI trial is set for July 15. There’s a chance he could be suspended, depending on the verdict of the trial.

Emeka Egbuka, WR, Buccaneers
Emeka Egbuka has been the “talk of Buccaneers mini-camp,” according to Pewter Report. Meanwhile, a report from FantasyPros says that Chris Godwin is “hopeful” to be ready by Week 1.

June 12

Detroit Lions Offense
As if things weren’t bad enough for the Lions with Ben Johnson leaving and Kevin Zeitler signing elsewhere, Frank Ragnow retired. Ragnow was one of the best centers in the NFL, so Detroit will sorely miss him. Everyone in Detroit’s offense deserves a downgrade from all of these developments.

R.J. Harvey, RB, Broncos
J.K. Dobbins has visited the Broncos and may sign with them. This would be harmful for R.J. Harvey, who is only being drafted because the competition in Denver sucks. Dobbins’ presence would change that.

Colston Loveland, TE, Bears
Colston Loveland is unlikely to be “full go” by training camp, according to Ben Johnson. Loveland has a shoulder issue, and while that’s not a long-term issue, it could hurt him as far as getting on the field in the near future.

Anthony Richardson, QB, Colts
Anthony Richardson is dealing with a shoulder injury that will sideline him in practice. While this may not keep him out of regular-season action, it’ll give Daniel Jones an opportunity to overtake him. The Indianapolis coaching staff may be looking for any excuse to go to Jones instead of Richardson at this point.

C.J. Stroud, QB, Texans
C.J. Stroud is dealing with shoulder soreness. DeMeco Ryans said that he doesn’t deem it to be a big deal, but that’s what Kyle Shanahan said of Christian McCaffrey’s “calf” injury last year. Any shoulder issue can be potentially perilous for a quarterback.
