1.
Washington Bullets: A.J. Dybantsa, SF, BYU
A.J. Dybantasa is considered a generational talent like Cooper Flagg, so Adam Silver may have rigged the NBA Draft lottery in favor of a large-market team, especially after what transpired with the ratings in last year’s NBA Finals between the Thunder and Pacers.

Also, if you haven’t visited the site in a while, you may have noticed the new look. Yes, after nearly two decades, we’ve finally re-designed our site to be more modern. This was not done on a whim, but rather out of necessity because of what occurred during the 2023 NFL Draft. Our site crashed during the entire first day of the draft, which was disastrous for our revenue stream because we make more money during the draft than any other time. The site crashed because a line of code conflicted with the old format of the site, so we had to transition to this new look.
Because we lost so much money during the draft, I want to point out that you can really help support the site by paying for the ad-free version of it. It’s $7.99 per month, but you’ll get a super-fast site with no ads. My developer will be adding new features to paid subscribers as well, so look for that in the near future. If you don’t want to pay, please spread the word about the site through word of mouth. That would also be a big help!
2.
Utah Jazz: Darryn Peterson, G, Kansas
The Jazz don’t have a need for a guard, but they have to take the best player available in this situation. I’ve seen speculation that the Bullets and the Jazz could swap Nos. 1 and 2 because the opposite prospect would fill a bigger need for the respective teams.
3.
Memphis Grizzlies: Cameron Boozer, PF, Duke
The Grizzlies have a dreadful roster with needs all over the palace, so perhaps they can start over with the son of former NBA player Carlos Boozer.
4.
Chicago Bulls: Caleb Wilson, PF, North Carolina
I’d say the Bulls need help in their front court, but they need help everywhere except for point guard. They can take the best non-point guard available.
5.
Los Angeles Clippers: Darius Acuff Jr., PG, Arkansas
The poor Pacers thought they’d have the No. 2 or maybe even the No. 1 pick in the 2026 NBA Draft. Instead, they’re out of a pick entirely because of the asinine Ivica Zubac trade. Well, at least the Pacers have an injury-prone center on their roster.
At any rate, the Clippers have to be thrilled. They get a guard to pair with Darius Garland in their backcourt.
6.
Brooklyn Nets: Keaton Wagler, PG, Illinois
Here’s another talented guard who can revive a franchise. The Nets have Egor Demin, but nothing really else of note in their backcourt.
7.
Sacramento Kings: Mikel Brown, PG, Louisville
Poor Kings. They closed out the season the right way and didn’t tank, and all they have to show for it is the seventh pick. It just goes to show that nice guys finish last, or at least seventh.
At any rate, Russell Westbrook is a million years old, so the Kings can start over for the 20th time in the past decade with another new point guard.
8.
Atlanta Hawks: Kingston Flemings, PG, Houston
And yet another point guard to help rebuild a team. The Hawks traded Trae Young, so here’s a replacement for him.
9.
Dallas Mavericks: Brayden Burries, SG, Arizona
Cooper Flagg was great in the second half of the 2025-26 season, but the dreadful guard play was anything but. Dallas needs an upgrade in the backcourt to pair with Flagg.
10.
Milwaukee Bucks: Nate Ament, F, Tennessee
The Bucks just need to add the best player available to pair with Giannis Antetokounmpo, or really, just the best player on the board because there’s no telling how long the Bucks will keep Antetokounmpo on the roster.
11.
Golden State Warriors: Labaron Philon, PG, Alabama
Steph Curry just turned 38, so the Warriors will need to think about adding a successor in the backcourt to pair with Brandin Podziemski.
12.
Oklahoma City Thunder: Yaxel Lendeborg, PF/C, Michigan
It’s wild that the Thunder can get even better with this pick. They’ll just take the best player available because they don’t have any needs.
13.
Miami Heat: Bennett Stirtz, PG, Iowa
Miami has a dire point guard situation, so it could take the top floor general available with this pick.
14.
Charlotte Hornets: Chris Cenac, C, Houston
The Hornets have great play at guard and the wing spots, but they’re weak at center. That position could be addressed with this pick.
15.
Chicago Bulls: Karim Lopez, SF, Mexico
The Bulls drafted a four with their initial pick in this 2026 NBA Mock Draft. Here, they take a much-needed wing.
