2027 NFL Mock Draft: Round 2

The Jets drafted a cornerback in the second round of the 2026 NFL Draft, but they still need one more talented player at the position.

Jamari Sharpe is a tall and lengthy cornerback with great speed. He hasn’t produced turnovers, but is a sure tackler.

The Cardinals failed to acquire a much-needed right tackle. They need to protect their new quarterback.

Austin Siereveld is a strong right tackle prospect, but his arm length could ding him. He’s a bit raw.

The Raiders will need to replace Maxx Crosby in the near future.

Matayo Uiagalelei has a great combination of size, strength, and athleticism. He’s a bit raw, though, and needs to improve his pass-rushing technique.

The Titans need to continue to upgrade every level of their poor defense.

Ben Roberts is an extemely instinctive linebacker and a team captain. He’s a sure tackler with no true weaknesses.

The Dolphins were considering Rueben Bain with their first-round pick, but decided on Kadyn Proctor instead.

Damon Wilson has great speed off the edge.

The Saints may want to add a running back to pair with Travis Etienne, or one to replace him if he struggles like he did prior to 2025.

Nate Frazier runs with blazing 4.3 speed and does a great job of breaking through tackles. He needs to improve his pass protection and ball security.

The Giants failed to add a receiver in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft, so they could do that with this pick.

Mario Craver is a small receiver who needs to get stronger, but has extremely explosive ability.

The Panthers may want to upgrade Chuba Hubbard at some point in the near future.

Jadan Baugh has great burst and ability to get yards after contact.

The Packers lost a couple of receivers lately, so they could be looking to replenish talent at the position, especially if Christian Watson continues to suffer injuries.

T.J. Moore is a huge receiver with great play-making ability. Some coaches will have issues with his poor blocking and ball security.

Sonny Styles would’ve been the pick for Dallas had he been available. Linebacker continues to be a huge weakness.

Kyngstonn Viliamu-Asa thrives in both run support and pass coverage, but has two torn ACLs in his injury history.

The Browns could use a bookend for Myles Garrett and an eventual replacement for the future Hall of Famer.

Jordan Ross is an athletic, lengthy pass rusher, but must get stronger and fill out his frame.

The Steelers have a bunch of mediocre running back, so they could look into acquiring a permanent solution at the position.

Ahmad Hardy breaks through tackles with ease and possesses great vision. He’s definitely not a very fast running back though.

The Colts have a weakness at safety they’ll need to address in the near future.

Rod Moore is a versatile safety with nice ball skills. He’s very fast, but has a torn ACL in his past.

Travis Kelce could be retired heading into the 2026 NFL Draft.

Terrance Carter is a great receiver who runs routes well and can make big plays after the catch, but his height and blocking ability are both negatives.

The Bengals need to continue to bolster every level of their poor defense.

Jay’Vion Cole is an instinctive cornerback with great ball-hawking ability, but he’s short and very light. He also misses lots of tackles.

The Bears failed to draft an edge rusher, so they’ll need to make amends for that in the 2027 NFL Draft.

Suntarine Perkins is a dangerous pass rusher, but needs to bulk up for the NFL. He’s terrific in coverage and may be an Isaiah Simmons-type tweener.

The Buccaneers needed a cornerback even before Jamel Dean left for Pittsburgh.

A.J. Harris is a tall cornerback with great coverage skills, but misses some tackles and has been penalized too often.

The Lions signed Cade Mays to replace Frank Ragnow. Here’s a long-term replacement.

Joe Otting is a great athlete for a center, but he’s raw and needs to improve his technique.

The Texans were expected to address offensive tackle in the 2026 NFL Draft, but they traded out of the first round instead.

Carter Smith is a very strong run blocker, but hi pas protection can be an issue, especially with his limited arm length.

The Falcons need a replacement for the retired Kaleb McGary.

Andrew Sprague is a big and lengthy tackle with plus athleticism. His pass protection is ahead of his run blocking.

The Patriots spent a first-round pick on a guard the past two years. Here’s a second-round pick on a guard to bolster the interior blocking.

Evan Tengesdahl is a solid run blocker. He has to improve in pass protection.

Quentin Johnston’s contract will expire soon, so here’s a replacement if he departs.

Bryant Wesco has plus height and great speed with great play-making ability, but he drops too many passes. He also needs to bulk up for the NFL.

Rob Havenstein is gone, while Alaric Jackson is someone who gets injured often.

Trevor Goosby is a phenomenal athlete who can take care of speed rushers. He needs to get stronger for run blocking.

The Seahawks met with a bunch of cornerbacks ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft, so they could address that position early in the 2027 NFL Draft.

Ellis Robinson is a lengthy, but frail cornerback who needs to bulk up for the NFL.

Mike McGlinchey is entering his contract year and is in his 30s, so the Broncos may be looking for a new tackle.

Anthonie Knapp is a nasty, powerful blocker, but has some issues in pass protection.

Everyone was expecting the Vikings to draft Dillon Thieneman. They could obtain their replacement for Harrison Smith with this pick.

Tae Johnson is a tall, ball-hawking safety who tackles well. He’s had injury issues, however.

The 49ers will have to find a future replacement for Trent Williams.

Xavier Chaplin has massive size and length, but is stiff and lacks technique.

D.J. Moore was added, but the Bills could use another receiver to go along with him and Khalil Shakir.

Mike Matthews has plus size and speed. However, he’ll frustrate coaches with his frequent drops and poor blocking.

The Redskins need to address their defensive line sometime soon to address a weakness.

Jayden Jackson is a surprisingly fast mover for a big nose tackle. He’s much better in run support than he is in the pass rush.

Travis Hunter is moving to cornerback, while Brian Thomas Jr. could be traded soon.

Brandon Staley has blazing low 4.3 speed and game-breaking ability, but drops too many passes.

The Ravens have been looking for a solid No. 2 receiver across from Zay Flowers for quite some time.

Ian Strong is a massive receiver and a major red zone threat. Speed is a concern, as is his route-running ability.

The Eagles could stand to find an upgrade for their secondary.

Bray Hubbard has great instincts and ball skills. He’s a smart player who provides great leadership in the locker room. He has issues against deep routes.
