2027 NFL Mock Draft: Round 1 – Picks 17-32

Trey Hendrickson is no longer on Cincinnati's roster, though we do like him to win 2026 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year. Cincinnati needs a replacement.

Yhonzae Pierre is a dangerous edge rusher with great speed and physicality.

The Lions really like Keldric Faulk, but will have to pass on him for a tackle. Here's another bookend for Aidan Hutchinson.

Boubacar Traore is extremely talented and has loads of potential. He still needs to fill out his frame.

The Panthers need to improve their running game. Chuba Hubbard is just mediocre, while Jonathon Brooks cannot stay healthy.

Jadan Baugh has great burst and ability to get yards after contact.

The Patriots have lost some talented safeties lately, so they'll need to find a replacement.

Jelani McDonald is a lengthy safety with good speed. He's made some splash plays in both run support and coverage.

Knowing the incompetence of Browns ownership, they may want to give Deshaun Watson and Shedeur Sanders one more year to prove themselves after 2026. Common sense should prevail, however, and the Browns will end up with a new franchise quarterback.

Sam Leavitt needs development as a raw player, but he has a great arm and tremendous scrambling ability.

No one player can replace Myles Garrett. The Browns need multiple new edge rushers.

Damon Wilson has great speed off the edge.

The Raiders failed to upgrade their receivers in the 2026 NFL Draft. Luckily for them, the 2027 NFL Draft class looks loaded at the position.

Charlie Becker can stretch defenses downfield with his big-play ability. He's also a massive receiver, but his route running is a weakness.

The Seahawks met with plenty of cornerbacks and edge rushers ahead of the 2026 NFL Draft, so perhaps they'll address one of those positions during the 2027 NFL Draft.

D.J. McKinney has nice size and quality ball skills.

The Jaguars have a good defense, but they could stand to get better at safety.

K.J. Bolden is a gifted safety with low 4.3 speed, but needs to bulk up for the pros.

Like Ronnie Stanley, Dion Dawkins will be a 33-year-old entering his contract season when the 2027 NFL Draft arrives.

Jordan Seaton is a terrific athlete for a huge tackle. He pass protects extremely well, but needs to improve his run blocking.

The Giants traded Dexter Lawrence, so they could use a new dominant nose tackle for the long term.

Ahmad Moten is a big nose tackle with plus pass-rushing potential.

The Bears need to add multiple upgrades to a defensive line that finished dead last in the NFL in sacks.

Will Echoles has a good blend of quickness, athleticism, and strength.

Ronnie Stanley will be a 33-year-old entering his contract season when the 2027 NFL Draft arrives.

Austin Siereveld is a strong right tackle prospect, but his arm length could ding him. He's a bit raw.

Jordan Mason and Aaron Jones are not getting the job done at running back. The Vikings need to strengthen their backfield.

Kewan Lacy is a tough, shifty runner with great quickness. He's a solid receiver out of the backfield.

The Chiefs have nothing at receiver outside of Rashee Rice, and there's no guarantee that Rice stays out of jail.

Ryan Williams needs to get stronger for the NFL, but he has top-10 upside. He has terrific speed and plus route-running ability.

The 49ers tend to struggle to get to the quarterback, so they could use another first-round pick on a defensive lineman.

Will Heidt has good size and upside.
