2028 NFL Mock Draft – Round 1 (1-16) – Charlie Campbell

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): Jeremiah Smith, WR

The Dolphins could give Malik Willis a couple of seasons as the starter, and if he doesn’t prove to be the franchise quarterback, they could target a replacement in 2027 or 2028.

Taylor has been excellent for the Bulldogs in 2026, leading Mississippi State to some big point totals. In 2026, he has completed 69 percent of his passes for 1,192 yards with 14 touchdowns, two interceptions, and a rushing score. Taylor (6-4, 230) has size and an excellent skill set.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): C.J. Carr, QB

The new Falcons regime is not married to a quarterback, and if their veterans don’t play well, Atlanta will be looking for a new franchise quarterback.

Hopkins has taken college football by storm as a sophomore. In four games, he has 14 tackles with six sacks and two forced fumbles. The 6-foot-6, 250-pounder has a good skill set with upside to develop as he gains experience.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): Jeremiah Smith, WR

Las Vegas could use some youth at tackle to protect Fernando Mendoza.

Peak is a talented offensive lineman with quickness and athleticism. He needs to get stronger for the NFL. Peak was the starting left tackle at N.C. State in 2025 after starting at right tackle for the Wolfpack over two seasons (2023-2024). Peak will have a lot of NFL eyes on him as the blind side protector for LaNorris Sellers in 2026. Peak (6-4, 292) could stand to gain weight and add strength for the NFL. Hence it might be wise for him to target the 2028 NFL Draft. Peak has dealt with some injuries in 2027.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): Dante Moore, QB, and Greg Johnson, G

The Browns grab more cornerback talent to go with Denzel Ward.

In 2026, Lee has 12 tackles with a forced fumble and one pass batted. Lee had an impressive debut as a freshman in 2025, recording 32 tackles with two interceptions and five passes broken up. Lee (6-4, 204) is a big cornerback, so it will be interesting to see how he handles speed and twitchy receivers in the seasons to come.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): Cam Coleman, WR, and Will Echoles, DT, and Jelani McDonald, S

Olu Fashanu has struggled and was a pick of the previous regime. Come 2028, the Jets could be looking for an upgrade.

Sanders has a lot of ability and has shown real talent to be an edge protector. The 6-foot-6, 310-pounder has good size to go along with quickness and athleticism. He is starting at left tackle as a sophomore after playing right tackle in his freshman season.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): K.J. Duff, WR

By the 2028 NFL Draft, the Giants could be looking for an interior disruptor to replace Dexter Lawrence.

Brewu has been impressive to open the season with Notre Dame. He was superb in Week 1 against Wisconsin. Thus far in 2026, Brewu has 10 tackles with one sack. With Pitt in 2025, Brewu had 36 tackles with one sack and a forced fumble. He had 15 tackles with 1.5 sacks. Brewu is quick at the point of attack with agility, good leverage, and a burst to close.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): Darian Mensah, QB

The Cardinals could use a long-term starter at right tackle.

Moore (6-6, 312) has a good skill set and flashed in his debut with the Buckeyes. He could be a riser leading up to the 2028 draft. Moore has played well at left tackle in 2026.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): Ahmed Moton, DT

By the 2028 NFL Draft, Carolina could be looking for a tackle to pair with Monroe Freeling.

Frazier (6-6, 312) broke into the starting lineup as a sophomore and has the potential to be a riser over the next couple of seasons. He’s starting at right tackle for the Wolverines.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): Xaier Gilliam, DT

The 49ers could use more youth at receiver. Mike Evans and Deebo Samuel are not long-term starters while Ricky Pearsall has been unable to stay healthy.

In 2026, Toney has 34 catches for 564 yards and six touchdowns. The ultra-fast Toney was an electric playmaker as a freshman for Miami. He made a lot of impact plays to help the Hurricanes reach the National Championship. In 2025, he caught 109 passes for 1,211 yards with 10 touchdowns. He also had a rushing score. Toney (5-11, 188) is a pure football player with explosive playmaking ability.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): Ellis Robinson, CB

Come 2028, the Bears will be faced with some contract decisions on receivers like Rome Odunze, Luther Burden, and Kaliff Raymond. Thus, Chicago might be drafting more cheap talent if they can’t retain all of their veterans.

In 2026, Moore has 14 catches for 234 yards and four touchdowns. Moore (5-11, 195) flashed as a freshman in 2025 with 34 catches for 497 yards and three touchdowns. He averaged 15 yards per catch and showed upside to improve as he gains experience.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): Colin Simmons, OLB

If Cam Ward doesn’t become a consistent producer by the 2028 NFL Draft, Tennessee will probably be looking for an upgrade.

In his first year as a starter, Russell has been a breakout player this season for the Crimson Tide in 2026. Russell has completed 71 percent of his passes for 1,129 yards with eight touchdowns and two interceptions. He has also hurt defenses on the ground with yardage and three scores. Russell (6-3, 207) has a quality arm, athleticism, and is an aggressive vertical passer.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): Ashton Hampton, CB

In the next year or two, the Saints could use more edge rush youth to replace Cam Jordan and potentially others.

Jackson (6-5, 274) has flashed talent and ability with the Longhorns in 2026. He was very disruptive against Tennessee and showed a real skill set with size and speed.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): Jadan Baugh, RB

Perhaps the Steelers will give their young quarterbacks an opportunity to be the starter in 2027. If they don’t prove to be the starter, Pittsburgh has to find a true replacement for Aaron Rodgers in 2028.

In 2026, Sagapolutele has completed 64 percent of his passes for 985 yards with seven touchdowns and four interceptions. Sagapolutele had a breakout 2025 season as the Golden Bears' replacement for Fernando Mendoza. In 2025, Sagapolutele completed 64 percent of his passes for 3,454 yards with 18 touchdowns and nine interceptions. He also had four rushing scores. The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder is talented with a lot of upside and could rise as he gains experience.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): None

The Colts could consider adding some tackle youth come 2028.

Heard (6-6, 325) is a huge blocker with a good skill set and upside. He could be a riser for the NFL over the next two seasons.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): Nick Marsh, WR

The Chiefs need multiple receiving weapons for Pat Mahomes.

In 2026, Wesco has 16 catches for 163 yards. In 2025, Wesco caught 31 passes for 537 yards with six touchdowns. The previous season, he had 41 catches for 708 yards with five scores. Wesco (6-2, 190) is talented with upside to rise.

2027 NFL Mock Draft (as of 10/2/26): Jamari Johnson, TE

Depending on how things go in 2026 and 2027, the Eagles could move on from Jalen Hurts by the 2028 NFL Draft.

In 2026, Iamaleava completed 63 percent of his passes for 820 yards with four touchdowns, two interceptions, and a rushing touchdown. In 2025, Iamaleava has completed 64 percent of his passes for 1,928 yards with 13 touchdowns and seven interceptions. He had four scores on the ground. In 2024, Iamaleava had an excellent debut as a freshman with Tennessee. He completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,616 yards with 19 touchdowns and five interceptions. He also ran for 358 yards and three touchdowns. After the season, Iamaleava got into a dispute with the Volunteers over NIL money and ended up transferring to UCLA. Family health issues for Iamaleava also played a big factor in the transfer. Iamaleava has a good arm, athleticism, and big-play ability.
