  1. Tennessee Titans: Laremy Tunsil, OT, Ole Miss
    Laremy Tunsil: 63.6%
    Jalen Ramsey: 34.5%
    Joey Bosa: 1.7%
    Total votes: 546

Brian S: Both Tunsil and Ramsey are great players, but Tunsil helps Mariota stay healthy and makes him a better QB. (Remember, QB is the most important position in ALL of sports!) To me, this is a no brainer.

Andrew B: Left Tackle is the second most important position behind the QB. With Mariota already showing injury concerns, they need to protect him. I think they will come around to drafting Tunsil.

Colton M: Ramsey is extremely talented. However, Tunsil solidifies a more important position moving Lewan to the right, and provides protection for Mariota which Tennessee struggled with last year.

David H: Ramsey and Tunsil are both viable choices, but the last time the number 1 pick wasn’t a QB, OT, or edge rusher was a generation ago. If in doubt – and I am in doubt, neither choice would shock me in the least – back on history like that. Don’t rule out a trade either, though there may not be a good offer out there this year.

Jason D: It just has to be Tunsil. You are upgrading three positions with one draft pick with Tunsil at LT, Lewan moved to RT, and shift Poutasi into RG. Take Tunil at #1, and find your CB/S at the top of round two.

  2. Cleveland Browns: Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State
    Carson Wentz: 69.3%
    Jalen Ramsey: 13.2%
    Jared Goff: 12.1%
    Joey Bosa: 5.5%
    Total votes: 446

Nathan T: The Browns have no idea how to obfuscate. Of course it’s going to be Wentz… If it isn’t, I will be both surprised and laughing maniacally at the reality that the Browns can’t even do this right.

Joe Legend: I need a write in. After letting Dansby go and signing RG3 i say they draft Myles Jack.

Luke T: How is Bosa even an option? The Browns are dumb, but they’re not THAT dumb. Wait… yes they are.

Ethan S: Regardless of who the Browns draft, they will be terrible in 2016. However, if they’re going to be competitive in the near future, they absolutely must try to obtain a franchise QB, and Wentz seems to be the favorable option

Brian S: The signing of RGIII is insignificant. The Browns MUST make sure they have a franchise QB if they want to turn their franchise around. Taking a QB #2 gives the Browns a backup option if RGIII does not pan out. Taking Wentz would be the better than Geoff, because Went has more upside and the Browns wouldn’t feel forced to play him from day 1.

  3. San Diego Chargers: Jalen Ramsey, S/CB, Florida State
    Jalen Ramsey: 61.9%
    DeForest Buckner: 13.9%
    Joey Bosa: 9.3%
    Myles Jack: 7.8%
    Ronnie Stanley: 7.1%
    Total votes: 1,152

Erik N: This pick is a no brainer. It will be Jalen Ramsey because he is the best player in the draft while simultaneously filling a need.

Aaron C: Wave goodbye to Eric Weddle in free agency, wave hello to Jalen Ramsey in the draft

Kevin O: Could it be that the Chargers are the most fortunate team in this draft? Between Mariota needing protection and the Browns’ failures causing them to draft ANOTHER QB, Ramsey is just what they needed to improve their bad defense and replace Weddle in the secondary. Taking most likely the best player in the draft at 3rd overall? SD would be hitting the jackpot.

Jason D: Chargers let Eric Weddle go in free agency, which was alright when you consider his age and potential decline. Rasmey will be an alright CB in the league, but an elite safety. Draft him at 3 and continue to find defensive players atop of round 2/3

Donn K: Chargers just lost Weddle to free agency. This is about as obvious as one could get.

  4. Dallas Cowboys: Joey Bosa, DE, Ohio State
    Joey Bosa: 42.3%
    Myles Jack: 24.4%
    Ezekiel Elliott: 12.2%
    DeForest Buckner: 11.5%
    Jared Goff: 7.7%
    Vernon Hargreaves: 1.9%
    Total votes: 1,141

Galactic K: Bosa has a lot of questions surrounding him, but Jerry Jones has shown he doesn’t care much about those. The Cowboys need an infusion of pass rushing talent and Bosa is about as talented as they come in this draft.

Kyle B: What is Romo going to be like next year? Can that collar bone (3 breaks) be trusted? Even if he has a great year Cowboys need to think about a new QB. They have a team that can win now, why not take Goff and develops him for a couple years.

Adam K: The Cowboys have taken some chances with players and it hasn’t always worked out. At the end of the day I expect the Cowboys to be the Cowboys and take Bosa here. He fills an obvious need at a premium position. Too bad he’s overrated.

Rusty M: The Cowboys pass rush is hurting with Greg Hardy likely not coming back and Randy Gregory having an early suspension. With Bosa on board, Dallas will be able to replace Hardy while also getting production while they wait for Gregory to come back.

Michael K: No single defensive player is going to make the Dallas defense a lot better. If Jerry Jones is actually trying to win now and wants to extend the career of Romo, the most impactful pick is Elliot. A dominating run game will protect Romo and even make the defense better than any one player like Bosa will.

  5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Myles Jack, LB/RB, UCLA
    Myles Jack: 69.3%
    DeForest Buckner: 13.1%
    Vernon Hargreaves: 10.2%
    Ronnie Stanley: 7.4%
    Total votes: 638

Scott R: Obviously Jack here. Bradley wants to build around speed, their LBs aren’t very good, they’ve upgraded the line and secondary…

Zach C: Versatility is the name of the game for Myles Jack, who can line up at every linebacker position, as well as serve as an emergency RB. The Jaguars need talent on the defensive side of the ball, and Jack provides value here. Vernon Hargreaves is also a possibility here.

Ted G: If Myles Jack is there it’s gotta be him. for the Jaguars. I can still envision this team taking a guy like Shaq Lawson way too high however because you know, it’s the idiot Jaguar way.

Bryon E: Jack is a Swiss Army Knife as a LB, Safety, and emergency RB. A DEF needing weapons must love this versatility.

Christopher F: Gus Bradley is a defensive guy. Jaguars did a pretty good job adding some free agents like Jackson, Amukamara, and Gipson, but what they need is a LB that can replace Posluszny or Skuta, and that’s Miles Jack.

  6. Baltimore Ravens: DeForest Buckner, DE/DT, Oregon
    DeForest Buckner: 52.6%
    Vernon Hargreaves: 20.0%
    Ronnie Stanley: 20.0%
    Ezekiel Elliott: 7.5%
    Total votes: 782

Galactic K: Buckner is the consensus top prospect available at this point, and sticking someone of Buckner’s caliber on a line with Jernigan and Williams will create a devastating problem for opposing offensive lines.

John K: We know Ozzie will take the best player available. And that will be Buckner.

Greg D: Picks falling the way they are in this mock, it is Deforest Buckner or trade for the Ravens. Not a chance they use the #6 pick on a running back, when T-Sizzle’s replacement is standing right in front of them.

Adam P: The Ravens will look to trade down in this situation, but if they stay put they choose between Buckner and Hargreaves. In this mock, they take Buckner as he can be the “instant coffee” pick they desire.

Christopher F: I have a feeling Ozzie will trade back the draft falls like this. Without trades, Ravens play at their best when they dominate the trenches – and that’s the M.O. for the AFC North. Buckner is that high motor, ruthless player that can fit the Ravens mindset.

  7. San Francisco 49ers: Jared Goff, QB, California
    Jared Goff: 74.6%
    Ronnie Stanley: 6.8%
    Vernon Hargreaves: 5.1%
    Ezekiel Elliott: 4.9%
    Paxton Lynch: 4.7%
    Laquon Treadwell: 4.0%
    Total votes: 575

Galactic K: Call me crazy but I don’t think the 49ers organization wants any part of Kaepernick, and hopefully Chip Kelly can understand that Gabbert just does what Bradford did but worse. Jared Goff is arguably the most NFL-ready QB in this draft and the 49ers would be insane not to take him with the glaring issues they have.

Zach C: While the 49ers should look long and hard at the top QBs available here, this just seems like a classic Chip Kelly move to pass on them. Clearly he takes pride in going against the curve and his arrogance will soon provide a temporary exit from the NFL. And York seemed to trust Harbaugh early on in his tenure, so I think Kelly throws us an 8 ball here. If he feels that the two QBs in play here don’t “fit” his system, I believe they’ll go BPA and either take Hardgreaves or Stanley.

Soren A: I won’t vote… cause how are we supposed to predict what stupid people do? Just make “Some 3rd Round prospect” an option! wink emoticon

Chris T: Now if you were the 49ers,Colin kapernick goes to Broncos. All you have is Blaine gabbert Would you have start the season of a rebuilding team with Gabbert at QB.Of course not,So you take the best QB available at your pick and that’s Jared goff, giving you a new franchise player to rebuild a team around.

Joe Y: The 49ers are a disaster and should be in rebuilding mode. Goff should be the obvious choice to try to lead this franchise back to it’s former greatness. But since it’s the current 49ers, with one of the mose inept combinations at Owner/GM/Coach we’ve ever seen, they’ll botch it and go with Hargreaves – a great player but the wrong pick. Besides, there is a 0% chance Kaepernick gets traded now that the Wonder Trio of York, Baalke, and Kelly let his 2016 salary become guaranteed. No one will take that on so the 49ers will just stick with him, hoping Kelly can turn his career around (he can’t).

  8. Philadelphia Eagles: Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State
    Ezekiel Elliott: 47.8%
    Vernon Hargreaves: 24.0%
    Ronnie Stanley: 16.9%
    Paxton Lynch: 8.0%
    Laquon Treadwell: 3.4%
    Total votes: 794

Sam S: Hargreaves has to be the pick here. The Eagles secondary has been a mess forever, and with Hargreaves the Eagles would get someone who they could partner with Eric Rowe. Also, Hargreaves has Asante Samuel esque upside, so for me, this has to be the pick, although knowing the Eagles they’ll go with Elliot.

Kevin B: Hargreaves to Eagles for me. They’ve learned their lesson trying to get a top CB by overpaying in free agency.

Arthur M: I would think the Eagles need WR more than RB for now. Matthews can hold down the fort and they need someone to throw to. Elliot is a Junior and will take time to become useful.[i don’t care for Juniors].

Trace H: Stanley and Johnson will protect whoever the QB is for the next decade. Peters can slide inside to upgrade LG and potentially extend his career. Zeke will probably be a good/great RB, but the positional value of LT makes Stanley the correct pick. Much easier to find a good RB later in the draft than an OT.

Christian T: Todd Gurley transformed the Rams who had no QB and lacked a #1 receiver. While Zeke is not quite the same caliber, he’s exceptionally talented, intelligent, and versatile. The Eagles need someone to replace their failed Demarco Murray experiment, plus they already have better offensive weapons than the rams to balance the ground attack

  9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Vernon Hargreaves, CB, Florida
    Vernon Hargreaves: 49.9%
    Ronnie Stanley: 15.7%
    Leonard Floyd: 10.8%
    Shaq Lawson: 9.5%
    Emmanuel Ogbah: 5.1%
    Kevin Dodd: 3.5%
    Sheldon Rankins: 2.8%
    A’Shawn Robinson: 1.5%
    Vernon Butler: 1.2%
    Total votes: 825

Galactic K: Brent Grimes is declining while Alterraun Verner was miserably bad last year, adding a top flite CB like Hargreaves will do wonders for a pretty poor secondary in Tampa.

Bryon E: I, like the majority, went BPA, but personally dont think any od these players are the pick. I like 1 of 3 former Buckeyes here. Darron Lee, Apple, and Noah Spence are the besr perimeter players at their said position.

Zach C: Hargreaves has legit lockdown corner potential, and the Bucs have had corner trouble forever. This should be an easy pick for Tampa.

Arthur M: Yes the D backfield is a mess but their is an abundance of talent deep into the draft to address that. Right here Stanley will protect the Bucs newfound offensive prowess for years.

Jeff D: The Bucs breathe a huge sigh of relief as all CBs besides Ramsey fall to them. Assuming Hargreaves is the highest corner on their board, he’ll be the pick here. If they happen to be higher on someone like William Jackson III, their need is big enough that they could certainly go that route despite the reach.

  10. New York Giants: Ronnie Stanley, OT, Notre Dame
    Ronnie Stanley: 51.7%
    Laquon Treadwell: 12.0%
    Leonard Floyd: 11.3%
    Shaq Lawson: 9.3%
    Sheldon Rankins: 5.8%
    A’Shawn Robinson: 3.5%
    Kevin Dodd: 3.2%
    Emmanuel Ogbah: 2.7%
    Vernon Butler: 0.7%
    Total votes: 603

Galactic K: I think the Giants may reach really outside the box and pick up Darron Lee from Ohio State, but otherwise they will probably just end up taking the best pass rusher on the board, and the general concensus for that is Leonard Floyd.

Adam K: I completely understand the logic behind picking Stanley here but I think the Giants get better value from taking a right tackle on day two or three. If the Giants are watching the same tape I am then they’re falling in love and drafting Leonard Floyd. He would probably be the best middle linebacker for the Giants day one and he’s not even projected for that position.

Zach C: While the Giants really love going for pass rushers in the first round and have a glaring need, Ronnie Stanley is too good to pass up on here. He also fills a need for the G-men and could help Eli from capsizing this year.

Greg D: The Giants would love to have had Hargreaves fall to them here despite Janoris Jenkins arrival. However, in this case they are able to shore up their offensive line with an NFL-ready Tackle in Ronnie Stanley.

Jason D: Ronnie Stanley will be in contention — but not if Leonard Floyd is on the board. They have undermined their defense by drafting offense 4 years in a row in the first round. The Giants will finally look to address the LB spot, albeit not at MLB, a position that Jerry Reese has foolishly and somewhat publicly brushed off, but at OLB. Floyd has the measurables and athleticism that the Giants covet from their premium pass rushing picks. As a Giants fan, I don’t like it. But he will be the pick.

  11. Chicago Bears: Leonard Floyd, DE/OLB, Georgia
    Leonard Floyd: 28.2%
    A’Shawn Robinson: 20.3%
    Jack Conklin: 16.2%
    William Jackson: 12.0%
    Kevin Dodd: 5.4%
    Vernon Butler: 5.1%
    Mackensie Alexander: 4.4%
    Eli Apple: 4.3%
    Jarran Reed: 4.1%
    Total votes: 727

Galactic K: The Bears have enough to work with in terms of pass rushing and on the defensive line, but their cornerback postion is pretty thin. Fuller is a solid if not good corner, however Tracy Porter is aging and there’s really no one on the depth chart behind him. Taking someone like Eli Apple, who has a ton of upside, makes a ton of sense.

Bryon E: All options are positions of “Value” , in a deep Edge Rusher pool I went with the least scarce commodity of OT. Love what “Pink” Floyd bring to the dance.

David H: I could see Jackson going way higher than anticipated because these Combine standouts invariably do, and Chicago’s front office could be the one to make that reach. Conklin is another distinct possibility, and Robinson might be in play as he should make a good 5T in the NFL; however, this is a class where there’ll be guys to fit that role on the board in round 2.

Zach C: Aaron Rodgers has owned the Bears over the years. Floyd is a guy who help neutralize Rodgers.

Joey Y: Since a soul for Jay Cutler is not an option, the Bears will look to improve their woeful defense. Historically, the Bears are always associated with a dominating defense, and they’d love to get back to that. The Bears only put up 35 sacks last year, so they will look for a potent edge rusher to bolster that number. Leonard Floyd would be the pick here as he will be a terror as an edge rusher in the 3-4, therefore a great fit for this defense. I personally don’t think the giants pass on Floyd, but if they do the Bears will waste little time in scooping him up as his stock is red-hot right now.

  12. New Orleans Saints: A’Shawn Robinson, DE/DT, Alabama
    A’Shawn Robinson: 24.4%
    Shaq Lawson: 18.3%
    Sheldon Rankins: 15.5%
    Laquon Treadwell: 11.4%
    Mackensie Alexander: 5.8%
    Darron Lee: 4.8%
    Kevin Dodd: 4.5%
    Vernon Butler: 4.1%
    Emmanuel Ogbah: 3.5%
    Eli Apple: 3.5%
    Reggie Ragland: 2.6%
    William Jackson: 1.7%
    Total votes: 539

Galactic K: The Saints secondary actually wasn’t as bad as it seemed last year, most of the deficiencies were due to the fact they couldn’t rush the passer if their life depended on it. A DT to stick in the middle that can also pass rush is high priority here, and I have Sheldon Rankins as the highest DT on my board.

Bryon E: A’Shawn is a top talent and should be going higher. A questionable motor and depth of position sends him down the board. LB’s with first round talent are as scarce as hen;s teeth and viewing the list there is not a more complete athlete than Darron Lee.

Thomas B: Being my home state team it pains me to say that they have fell from grace with two consecutive down seasons. The defense and front office is mostly responsible so they can rectify their mistakes by taking either Rankins or Robinson. I believe Rankins is the better player as far as upside and Crimson tide defenders don’t have the best track record in the NFL save for the few that do…there was a lot of talent on that roster and more talented player mask weakness of other less talented players and thus make them overrated.

Christopher F: The common sentiment is defense – and it makes sense. The Saints added Nick Fairley, so perhaps they can delay on getting another DT in the first round. However, what they haven’t done was to find a solid replacement for Marcus Colston. Why not replace a big bodied receiver with another one in Laquon Treadwell to ensure Drew Brees has multiple weapons.

Joey Y: This pick will be defense. Which defender is tough to say. The defense needs work on the line, the linebacking corps, and in the secondary, so whomever the highest remaining defender is on New Orleans draft board will be the pick. I think that will probably be Robinson, but any one of the defenders makes sense.

  13. Miami Dolphins: Jack Conklin, OT/G, Michigan State
    Jack Conklin: 20.1%
    Mackensie Alexander: 19.1%
    Eli Apple: 16.9%
    Darron Lee: 10.5%
    Kevin Dodd: 8.8%
    William Jackson: 8.8%
    Reggie Ragland: 8.4%
    Emmanuel Ogbah: 7.3%
    Total votes: 535

Galactic K: A CB would make sense for Miami, however the offensive guards are a mess and the OT position is one injury away from disaster, as seen last season. Jack Conklin probably won’t stick at LT at the next level, but he’ll work well on either RT or either of the two guards spots, as Dallas Thomas and Billy Turner really aren’t moving any needles.

Zach C: If the Dolphins are serious about Ryan Tannehill as their franchise quarterback, they should think about protecting him better. Conklin is a versatile lineman who is solid value at this juncture.

Bryon E: Miami has been a major player in Free Agency having addressed many “Needs” Oddly they appear to be the “Anti Moneyball” organization replacing the likes of Oliver Vernon with “Super Mario” but who am I to judge? BPA mode here as Conklin and Apple locked in a virtual tie.

Arthur M: Dolphins already improved their D this winter. Now they need to improve their O, which can only be done by improving their OL. I’ll say it once and only Once; if you don’t have a good OL, You don’t have an Offense. If you don’t have a good DL, You have no Defense!

Adam K: The Dolphins front office makes a lot of poor decisions but since I don’t know who that is, we’re going safest player available. Tape looks good, combine was outstanding, and he’s versatile. Jack Conklin for the block.

  14. Oakland Raiders: Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville
    Sheldon Rankins: 20.6%
    Mackensie Alexander: 15.3%
    Reggie Ragland: 11.4%
    Darron Lee: 9.2%
    Shaq Lawson: 9.2%
    Eli Apple: 8.9%
    William Jackson: 6.4%
    Vernon Butler: 5.6%
    Laquon Treadwell: 4.7%
    Emmanuel Ogbah: 3.9%
    Jarran Reed: 3.6%
    Kevin Dodd: 1.4%
    Total votes: 360

Jason B: The best tackle in the draft makes this defense really special and makes Mack unstoppable.

Arthur M: Raiders could go in a number of directions here. I would save DL or DB until rounds 2 and 3,because of that available talent in this particular draft and go WR. Treadwell would give their passing game a dynamic kick and give Amari Cooper more space for he and Carr to play.

Bryon E: Reggie has done a great job, at least on paper, of filling needs for the Raiders allowing them to truely approach the draft as a best player available. At the time that I’m voting run stuffers and CB have the lead, but I went Darron Lee. Sideline to sideline 3 down LB’s are rare, Coupled with Mack this is scary.

Jason D: I think Ragland makes the most sense here. With Ragland, you have a great run stopper and such a hard hitting ILB. It just makes sense for this man to be wearing black and silver. Put him at ILB with Mack and Aldon (when he come back) on the outside and you have the most elite linebacker corps in the league.

Kyle L: You throw Sheldon Rankins in the middle of this DL and you automatically have a top 5 front 7 in the league, which should take a ton of pressure off the db’s. MEJ/Rankins/Williams/Mack. Irvin/Heeney/Smith. Oof. Good luck opposing QBs.

  15. Los Angeles Rams: Paxton Lynch, QB, Memphis
    Paxton Lynch: 52.8%
    Laquon Treadwell: 25.6%
    Reggie Ragland: 5.4%
    Josh Doctson: 4.6%
    Eli Apple: 4.3%
    Mackensie Alexander: 4.0%
    Darron Lee: 2.0%
    William Jackson: 0.9%
    Vernon Butler: 0.6%
    Total votes: 354

Adam K: After losing Jenkins, CB is a glaring need, I think the Rams still take the first WR off their board though. They have a ton of talent on defense, potential on offense, but that O side definitely needs some work. I have them taking Treadwell here; however, I don’t like the pick. I don’t know who the best receiver is in this class but I don’t think Laquon’s comps to an ace. Also, I smell a trade with the Ravens for the 6th pick and the Rams could be the team. Cali Goff, LA, usurping the Niners, Kroenke!

Adam P: The Rams definitely need to address the wide receiver position after passing on the position in free agency. Treadwell is exactly what is needed.

Bryon E: St. Louis is a blue collar venuen with the bright lights of tinzle town now shining the competition for that entertainment $ is fierce. The likes of Case Kenum will not enthrall the masses. Look for a major move to add something that sparkles, if not, Pax will be the guy.

Jim D: If the LA Rams don’t go QB it will probably be a WR. This is just a guess, but I think they will have Doctson rated higher than Treadwell.

Joshua B: The Rams are a mess at reciever. Treadwell’s projections are all over the place but the Rams make a lot of sense for him.

  16. Detroit Lions: Laquon Treadwell, WR, Ole Miss
    Laquon Treadwell: 30.6%
    Shaq Lawson: 14.3%
    Jarran Reed: 14.1%
    Vernon Butler: 11.9%
    Josh Doctson: 6.3%
    Mackensie Alexander: 5.8%
    Reggie Ragland: 4.9%
    Kevin Dodd: 4.4%
    Eli Apple: 2.7%
    Emmanuel Ogbah: 2.4%
    Darron Lee: 2.0%
    William Jackson: 0.8%
    Total votes: 412

Adam K: The Lions have at least two seasons before they have to franchise Ziggy Ansah. There’s no reason to find his replacement now but another solid rusher would be punishing on opposing QBs. Honestly it seems like the Lions have a lot of holes elsewhere perhaps but they really should look to take a player with some apparent leadership abilities. I think Shaq Lawson is a solid choice for both these reasons even if there is some redundancy on the field.

Zach C: Treadwell will give Stafford a replacement for Megatron that he can continue to chuck 50 yard heaves down the field into triple coverage to.

Jeff D: Detroit’s obvious, glaring need is along their offensive line. This is probably the difficult situation they will face in the real draft of Tunsil, Conklin, and Stanley all being gone. I like that Decker is not listed as he would be a reach at this point. With Marvin Jones and Jeremy Kerley being brought in as free agency, Doctson or Treadwell seem unlikely. Their biggest needs other than the O-line are interior defensive linemen and CB. Reed and Butler make the most sense to me. I think Reed is the better prospect, so I’ll go with him.

Jack B: Marvin Jones may have talent, but Detroit will need more help if they intend to help replace Calvin. Treadwell is their best shot at doing so here.

George K: Shaq Lawson. Detroit’s DE depth is thin and Devin Taylor, who might be best as a rotational DE, is starting and is a FA at the end of the year. Detroit could use a good run edge defender that can rush the passer.
