The Raiders wanted Michael Penix Jr., but the Falcons snatched him off the board. They can finally get their new quarterback with this pick. They would likely be willing to trade up to the No. 1 spot.
Shedeur Sanders has a high football IQ and great leadership skills. He doesn’t have a stellar arm, but it’s good enough for him to be a top-five pick.

Also, if you haven’t visited the site in a while, you may have noticed the new look. Yes, after nearly two decades, we’ve finally re-designed our site to be more modern. This was not done on a whim, but rather out of necessity because of what occurred during the 2023 NFL Draft. Our site crashed during the entire first day of the draft, which was disastrous for our revenue stream because we make more money during the draft than any other time. The site crashed because a line of code conflicted with the old format of the site, so we had to transition to this new look.
Because we lost so much money during the draft, I want to point out that you can really help support the site by paying for the ad-free version of it. It’s $7.99 per month, but you’ll get a super-fast site with no ads. My developer will be adding new features to paid subscribers as well, so look for that in the near future. If you don’t want to pay, please spread the word about the site through word of mouth. That would also be a big help!
Pick change; previously Jalen Milroe, QB
I was on board with the Giants tanking for Arch Manning in the 2026 NFL Draft, as I specified here in my 2026 NFL Mock Draft. However, the Daniel Jones benching and release changes things quite a bit. I believe the Giants would be on the quarterback train now.
Cam Ward is a dual-threat quarterback who was very productive at Washington State and now Miami.
Pick change; previously Travis Hunter, CB/WR
The Jaguars trade down and get the best player in this draft class. They desperately need help in their secondary and another weapon for Trevor Lawrence. They get both with this pick.
Travis Hunter has incredible athleticism and plus size. He’s an elite talent at both cornerback and receiver.
Pick change; previously Will Campbell, OT
The Patriots have nothing at receiver unless Ja’Lynn Polk emerges. They need a true No. 1 option to give Drake Maye a fair chance.
Tetaiora McMillan has mismatch size for the NFL, and he was very productive during the ’23 season.
Bryce Young has improved lately, so the Panthers might give him another year. If so, they could use this pick to replace Brian Burns.
James Pearce put a ton of pressure on the quarterback in ’23. He has a ton of potential, but he needs to fill out his frame.
Pick change; previously Quinn Ewers, QB
Will Levis has been so bad that I’m beginning to wonder if he’s betting on the other team, or at the very least, helping those who are wagering on his opponents. He won’t be in the NFL much longer.
Quinn Ewers has a big arm, but must improve his accuracy.
Pick change; previously Cam Ward, QB
Haason Reddick has his issues, so the Jets may decide to add another edge rusher to further enhance the defense.
Mykel Williams has an incredible first step and was terrific down the stretch for Georgia as a freshman.
The Browns don’t currently have the No. 1 overall pick. However, I believe that they, or another team that has a big need for a quarterback, will swap with the Jaguars.
The old Deshaun Watson is never coming back. It’s unclear if it’s too many massages or too many injuries, but the old Watson is gone forever. The Browns must move on from him, so they could trade up to the top pick if they’re close enough.
Jalen Milroe is a dangerous runner who has a solid arm. He needs to improve his ability to read coverages.
Pick change; previously Shedeur Sanders, QB
The Saints struggle to generate pressure on the quarterback and stop the run. They can draft someone here to fix both issues.
Mason Graham is a relentless player with a non-stop motor.
The Bengals have a horrible secondary that has allowed lots of big games to opposing receivers. This area must be fixed.
Will Johnson, who had a tremendous showing during the championship run, has a plus skill set and upside.
The Cowboys made the mistake of heading into the 2024 season with Rico Dowdle and Ezekiel Elliott as their running backs. It’s doubtful that happens again.
Ashton Jeanty has impressive speed and athleticism, and he also possesses terrific receiving ability.
Kevin Byard is just a temporary solution next to Jaquan Brisker at safety.
Nick Emmanwori has very rare cover skills for a safety who is built like a linebacker. He also possesses terrific instincts.
The Colts probably would have drafted a cornerback at No. 15 had Laiatu Latu not fallen to them. They still need help at the position.
Benjamin Morrison has a ton of upside as a 6-foot cornerback. He did a good job of limiting Marvin Harrison Jr.
The Dolphins have major offensive line issues. They can’t rely on Terron Armstead, and that’s the least of their problems.
Will Campbell has average length, but is a nasty blocker.
Pick change; previously Jonah Savaiinea, OT
The Buccaneers have some major problems in their secondary, particularly at cornerback. What could help is an explosive edge rusher to rattle opposing quarterbacks.
Abdul Carter has been described as a missile as a pass rusher.
It’s been rumored that the Rams may trade Cooper Kupp – check out which teams could trade for Cooper Kupp – so the Rams will be in the market for a receiver to complement Puka Nacua if such a deal occurs after the season.
Luther Burden is a shifty receiver who can be used as a ball-carrier.
