    Mike Tomlin loves winning preseason games. Chan Gailey doesn't. The one thing keeping me from making this a huge play is that Gailey is 2-0 in Week 3. However, he beat Marvin Lewis and Jack Del Rio in those contests, and those coaches definitely didn't take their matchup as seriously as Tomlin will.

    The straight up win for the Lions at Lamboue is not by any means etched in stone. Rogers should not play much in this one however, their back up QB aint half bad. If the Detroit loses look for the Falcons to play everyone all game.

    I guess Atlanta is locked into #6 even if they win. Doesn't that mean they're more likely to bench their starters? It's silly to think otherwise. If that's the case, as bad as Tampa is, I think the points might be a better option. Maybe it's a sharp trap.

    Not sure about the Atlanta game.

    I would think Atlanta would play hard to avoid being matched up against New Orleans in the first week of playoffs (if NO finishes #3; doesn't matter if they finish #2).

    Then again, Atlanta plays late. If they see Detroit pull off a win, would Atlanta pull all their starters? Could Tampa win or cover then?

    I know you have zero units on the game, Walt, but this makes for a troubling situation in pick 'em (with spreads).

    How can you say the Texans will win and cover if they're locked at #3? Don't all teams bench their starters in that position by the end of the game? Why risk injury? If the Saints will do it, if Green Bay will do it, why not the Texans?
