This is a 2025 NFL Mock Re-Draft of Rounds 2 and 3 for Friday evening’s NFL Draft coverage. With all of the trades that will go down, I don’t expect to get many of these right, but it’s still fun to speculate where the top prospects will go on Day 2 of the 2025 NFL Draft.

Cleveland Browns: Shedeur Sanders, QB, Colorado
The Browns have shown a lot of interest in Sanders, and could trade back into the first round to get him as a potential long-term starter. In 2024, Sanders completed 74 percent of his passes for 4,134 yards with 37 touchdowns and 10 interceptions. He had four rushing touchdowns as well. Sanders was very good in 2023, completing 69 percent of his passes for 3,230 yards, 27 touchdowns, and three interceptions. He picked up four rushing touchdowns as well. Multiple team sources thought Sanders (6-2, 215) had the potential to be a first-round pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. An area scout told WalterFootball.com:
He won’t wow with physical tools …. But his arm is good enough, especially in the short and intermediary. Mentally, he can operate at incredible speed. He could be the most NFL ready as far as football I.Q.; he bleeds confidence and charisma. He’ll own a team immediately because of his competitiveness and obvious advantage having grown up in the rare NFL bubble. Pro ball will not scare him.
Sanders dominated at Jackson State over two seasons before transferring to Colorado in 2023 to continue playing for his father. In 2021, Sanders completed 66 percent of his passes for 3,231 yards, 30 touchdowns, and eight interceptions. In 2022, he completed 71 percent of his passes for 3,732 yards, 40 touchdowns, and six interceptions.
Houston Texans: Aireontae Ersery, OT, Minnesota
The Texans add some tackle competition. The 6-foot-6, 325-pound Ersery has been a dependable blind side protector for Minnesota over 2023 and 2022. Ersery has good size and is a physical blocker at the point of attack. Ersery has power and explosion off the ball. In the NFL, he could get consideration at left or right tackle.
Tennessee Titans: Luther Burden III, WR, Missouri
The Titans need more receiving talent for Cam Ward. This would be a dream come true pick for Tennessee early in the second round. In 2024, Burden had 61 receptions for 676 yards and six touchdowns. Burden played really well as a sophomore in 2023, putting up 86 receptions for 1,212 yards and nine touchdowns. As a freshman, he flashed with 45 catches for 375 yards and six scores. He also ran the ball somewhat that season, averaging 4.9 yards per carry and scoring two touchdowns. The 5-foot-11, 208-pound Burden is an explosive playmaker and could be a riser for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Cleveland Browns: Will Johnson, CB, Michigan
The Browns add more cornerback talent. In 2024, Johnson recorded 14 tackles, two interceptions (both returned for touchdowns), and three passes defended. He returned 86 yards for a touchdown. Johnson played really well for the Wolverines in 2023 and provided very good coverage late in the year during their championship run. He totaled 27 tackles, four interceptions, and four passes defended. In 2022, he recorded 27 tackles, three interceptions, and three passes broken up. The 6-foot-2, 202-pounder has a good skill set and upside. However, he has some minor character concerns, and teams don’t like his slow workout times. He also did not run the 40. Hence, team sources think Johnson could slide into the middle or even late portion of the first round.
Las Vegas Raiders: Jayden Higgins, WR, Iowa State
Wide receiver is a huge weakness for Las Vegas and Higgins would be a great fit at 37. Higgins (6-4, 215) is a big receiver who presents a size mismatch for the NFL. He played well in 2024 with 87 receptions for 1,183 yards and nine touchdowns. Higgins’s strong play has earned him an invitation to the Senior Bowl and he had a solid week of practice in Mobile. In 2023 (53-983-6) and 2022 (58-757-10), Higgins had some solid production. If he shows speed in pre-draft workouts.
New England Patriots: Ozzy Trapilo, OT, Boston College
Morgan Moses is not a long-term starter at this point in his career. Here is a bookend tackle to go with Will Campbell and provide a tackle tandem to protect Drake Maye. Trapilo is a solid pass protector with good length and size to be a starting right tackle. The 6-foot-8, 316-pounder can anchor against bull rushes with length to handle speed rushers. Trapilo needs to improve his leverage and strength for run blocking. With development, he could be a well-rounded starter on the right side.
Chicago Bears: Donovan Ezeiruaka, OLB, Boston College
Chicago adds more edge rush talent to rotate with Montez Sweat and Dayo Odeyingbo. Ezeiruaku was a pass-rushing force for Boston College in 2024. He had 16.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, 80 tackles, and one pass broken up. In 2023, Ezeiruaku had two sacks, but he had 7.5 sacks and 60 tackles in 2022. Ezeiruaku (6-2, 247) is undersized but fights hard as a run defender.
New Orleans Saints: Trey Amos, CB, Ole Miss
The Saints grab a potential starting cornerback. Amos flashed on tape for Alabama in 2023, and he has picked up where he left off after transferring to Ole Miss. In 2024, Amos had 50 tackles with three interceptions and 13 passes broken up. Amos (6-1, 190) has good size, speed, and athleticism. He could be a solid first-rounder or a steal in the second round.
Chicago Bears: TreVeyon Henderson, RB, Ohio State
Ben Johnson had a fast back with excellent receiving skills in Detroit with Jahmyr Gibbs. Here is a similar style back to be Johnson’s feature back in Chicago. In 2024, Henderson averaged 7.1 yards per carry for 1,016 yards with 10 touchdowns. He had 27 catches for 284 yards. In 2023, Henderson averaged 5.9 yards per carry for 926 yards and 11 touchdowns. He had 19 receptions for 229 yards as well. Henderson put together an impressive freshman year in 2021 and was too talented to keep on the bench behind more experienced upperclassmen. He averaged 6.8 yards per carry that season for 1,248 yards and 15 touchdowns on only 183 carries. Henderson also was an impressive receiving back, snatching 27 passes for 312 yards and four scores. Before getting injured in 2022, he averaged 5.3 yards per carry for 571 yards and six touchdowns. Henderson has a strong build and serious speed to break off long runs on any carry. He also is an excellent blocker in pass protection.
New York Jets: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
The Jets add a safety upgrade. Emmanwori had 83 tackles, two passes broken up, and four interceptions with two returned for a touchdown. He had an interception returned for a touchdown against Kentucky, another returned for a score against Oklahoma, and had a 102-yard touchdown pick-six that had the return whipped out on a suspect penalty versus LSU. Emmanwori (6-3, 220) is a huge safety with rare coverage ability for a player that big. He has been a steady contributor for the Gamecocks for the past two seasons. In 2023, he had 71 tackles, 10 passes broken up, and two interceptions in 11 games. The previous season, he totaled 85 tackles as a freshman. Emmanwori is a freak athlete with instincts and speed and can flash some physicality.
San Francisco 49ers: Omarr Norman-Lott, DT, Tennessee
The 49ers could take an interior pass rusrheThe 6-foot-3, 315-pound Norman-Lott is a quick gap-shooting defensive tackle capable of putting pressure on the quarterback. He has impressive interior pass-rush talent. In 2024, he had 18 tackles and four sacks while being disruptive for the Volunteers. In 2023, Norman-Lott showed pass-rush ability with 5.5 sacks and 26 tackles with Arizona State. Norman-Lott was stronger and tougher against the run with Tennessee than he did with the Sun Devils.
Dallas Cowboys: Quinshon Judkins, RB, Ohio State
Dallas signed some veteran castoffs but could use a difference-maker in the backfield to lead their offense. In 2024, Judkins averaged 5.5 yards per carry for 1,060 yards with 14 touchdowns. He had 22 catches for 161 yards and two touchdowns. At Ole Miss, Judkins was a tough runner who has been productive the past two seasons. In 2023, he averaged 4.3 yards per carry for 1,158 yards with 16 touchdowns. The previous season, he averaged 5.7 yards per carry for 1,567 yards with 16 touchdowns. The 6-foot, 220-pounder transferred to Ohio State for the 2024 season. Judskins is big, fast, explosive, and has good instincts as a runner.
Indianapolis Colts: Alfred Collins, DE/DT, Texas
The Colts could consider adding more defensive line rotational talent. Collins had 55 tackles, one sack, and six passes batted thus far. While Collins is not a sack producer, he does contribute to the rush by getting a push into the pocket. Collins is strong, physical, and very tough as a run defender. Some team sources think he could sneak into the first round. The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder is versatile enough to play outside or inside and line up at a variety of techniques. In 2023, Collins collected 22 tackles, two sacks, and two passes defended.
Los Angeles Rams: Elijah Arroyo, TE, Miami
The Rams add a tight end weapon. In 2024, Arroyo had 35 receptions for 590 yards and seven touchdowns, showing the talent that he flashed early in his college career. Arroyo had an ACL tear on September 22, 2022, and suffered a setback in the 2023 preseason. He didn’t play until late November and had one catch for 11 yards. The 6-foot-4, 240-pounder is a fluid athlete with superb route-running and natural receiving ability. He could be a real weapon in the NFL.
Arizona Cardinals: Anthony Belton, OT, N.C. State
Jonah Williams has been consistently injured, and the Cardinals could use a more stable long-term right tackle to keep rushers out of the face of Kyler Murray. Belton put together a good 2023 season for the Wolfpack, helping his draft standing with NFL teams thanks to showing next-level ability. Alongside his size, Belton (6-6, 336) has enough quickness and athleticism to remain an edge blocker in the pros. Team sources said they had a third-round grade on Belton for the 2024 NFL Draft if he had decided to enter the draft. They noted that he might start as a backup but could develop into a starter. Belton could rise for the 2025 draft.
Miami Dolphins: Azareye’h Thomas, CB, Florida State
Especially if a Jalen Ramsey trade is successful, the Dolphins need more cornerback talent. Thomas (6-2, 198) is a big cornerback who played well for the Seminoles in 2024. His strong play went under the radar with Florida State having a rough season, but Thomas provided tight coverage on receivers all season. He totaled 53 tackles with an interception and four passes broken up. In 2023, he had 29 tackles with 10 passes batted. Multiple team sources think Thomas could be a first-rounder next April.
Cincinnati Bengals: Darius Alexander, DT, Toledo
The Bengals could use more tackle talent to pair with Kris Jenkins and Cincinnati has shown interest in Alexander. In 2024, Alexander was a solid defender for Toledo and earned an invitation to the Senior Bowl. In Mobile, he had a quality week of practice to help himself. He had 40 tackles with 3.5 sacks and four passes batted in 2024. The previous season, he had 36 tackles with four sacks. The 6-foot-4, 310-pounder has a nice skill set with size, quickness, and athleticism.
Seattle Seahawks: Carson Schwesinger, LB, UCLA
Seattle adds some more inside linebacker talent. The 6-foot-2, 225-pound Schwesginer was a one-year wonder in college, but he had a tremendous 2024 season for the Bruins. Schwesginer totaled 136 tackles with four sacks, two interceptions, one forced fumble, and three passes broken up. Schwesginer was always around the ball with impressive instincts and was fast to read his keys.
Denver Broncos: Elic Ayomanor, WR, Stanford
The Broncos grab a receiver to help Bo Nix. Ayomanor (6-2, 210) is a strong and tough receiver who played really well the past two seasons. In a breakout season for the Cardinal in 2023, Ayomanor caught 62 passes for 1,013 yards and six touchdowns. In 2024, Ayomanor had 63 catches for 831 yards and six touchdowns. Ayomanor is physical, dangerous after the catch, and gritty. He could stand to improve his hands, but he could be a solid starter.
Seattle Seahawks: Mike Green, DE, Marshall
The Seahawks add more edge rush talent. Green has been a monster for the Thundering Herd this season, with a ton of big plays for the Marshall defense. In 2024, Green had 17 sacks with three forced fumbles, 81 tackles, and two passes batted. The 6-foot-4, 248-pounder is very fast and explosive off the edge. In 2023, Green had 43 tackles with 4.5 sacks and one forced fumble.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Nic Scourton, DE, Texas A&M
The Bucs could use multiple young edge rushers to help their defense. In 2024, Scourton had 37 tackles with five sacks and one forced fumble. While playing at Purdue in 2023, Scourton broke out with 50 tackles, 10 sacks, one forced fumble and three passes defended. The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder showed impressive quickness and athleticism for a big-bodied defensive lineman. After the season, Scourton transferred to Texas A&M.
Green Bay Packers: Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina
The Packers could use more young cornerback talent, and if they trade Jaire Alexander, it will be a huge need for Green Bay. In 2024, Revel had two interceptions, two passes broken up, and eight tackles. He played in three games before suffering a torn ACL in practice to end his season. Revel (6-2, 188) is a big cornerback that has impressive speed and athleticism for a big cornerback. In 2023, he had 55 tackles with 12 passes broken up and one interception.
Los Angeles Chargers: Shemar Turner, DT, Texas A&M
The Chargers could use some young defensive line talent given the age of Khalil Mack and Joey Bosa being released.
Turner had 36 tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble. He has been solid but not dominant. Some team sources say that Turner’s instincts are just okay, he doesn’t know how to use his hands, isn’t overly explosive, and needs to get stronger. Other sources say that Turner is too twitched up to get out of the second round. Turner (6-3, 289) had a strong 2023 season for the Aggies, recording 33 tackles with six sacks and two forced fumbles.
Buffalo Bills: Landon Jackson, DE, Arkansas
The Bills take more defensive line depth. In 2024, Jackson had 49 tackles, 6.5 sacks, one forced fumble, and three passes broken up thus far. The 6-foot-7, 280-pound Jackson is strong at the point of attack and has good length to keep blockers from getting into his chest. In 2023, Jackson recorded 44 tackles, 6.5 sacks and a pass broken up. He has upside and could be a nice prospect for the 2025 NFL Draft.
Carolina Panthers: Jordan Burch, DE/DT, Oregon
The Panthers need multiple defensive line upgrades to go with Derrick Brown.
Burch has been a talented player for years but inconsistent. In 2024, he put it all together with 31 tackles, five passes batted, one forced fumble, and 8.5 sacks. The 6-foot-4, 279-pounder has height, length, quickness, and athleticism. He has versatility as he can play end or tackle. As an end, he is an intriguing player as a power edge rusher who also sets the edge well as a run defender. In 2023, he had 34 tackles with three sacks. The previous season, he had 60 tackles with 3.5 sacks.
Houston Texans: T.J. Sanders, DT, South Carolina
The Texans could use more young talent on the interior of their defensive line. In 2024, Sanders had four sacks and 51 tackles. Sanders broke out in 2023 with 43 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and four passes batted. The 6-foot-5, 295-pounder has excellent size with upside to develop. Team sources said Sanders jumped out to them as a player to watch for the 2024 season.
Baltimore Ravens: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
Baltimore could use more cornerback youth to go with Nate Wiggins and Marlon Humphrey. In 2024, Morrison had 20 tackles and three passes broken up in six games before a hip injury ended his season. In 2023, Morrison totaled 31 tackles, three interceptions, and 10 passes defended. He performed well against Ohio State, helping limit Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka. Morrison was a freshman sensation in 2022, recording 33 tackles, six interceptions, and five passes defended. The 6-foot, 185-pounder has talent and upside.
Detroit Lions: J.T. Tuimoloau, DE, Ohio State
The Lions add an edge rusher to go across from Aidan Hutchinson. In 2024, Tuimoloau had 12.5 sacks, 61 tackles, two forced fumbles, and three passes batted. Some team sources think Tuimoloau (6-4, 270) is a sleeper who could become a good pro starter. Some say he is a worthy late first-rounder, and others think he is a second-rounder. Tuimoloau is versatile with the ability to beat tackles with a serious bull rush and strength to shed blocks. He also has enough quickness and athleticism to run around blockers, while being strong to set the edge as a run defender. Tuimoloau totaled 38 tackles, five sacks, and two passes broken in 2023. He recorded 28 tackles, 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble, two interceptions, and two passes broken up in 2022.
Washington Redskins: Jonah Savaiinaea, OT, Arizona
Washington could use more right tackle talent. Savaiinaea broke into the starting lineup at right tackle in 2022 and immediately was a solid contributor for the Wildcats. As a sophomore in 2023, Savaiinaea was even better teaming with Jordan Morgan to give Arizona an effective tackle tandem. Savaiinaea is not as good of an athlete as Morgan, but Savaiinaea is stronger, nastier, and looks to finish off defenders. Some area scouts are grading Savaiinaea on day two and think he should move inside to guard in the NFL. Other sources think he could be a late one and a good starting guard in the NFL. Thus, Savaiinaea is a bit of a love/hate prospect.
Buffalo Bills: Xavier Watts, S, Notre Dame
The Bills could add more young talent at safety to go with Cole Bishop. Watts had 83 tackles with six interceptions, nine passes broken up, and a forced fumble. Watts around the ball and produced a lot of splash plays for the Irish. In 2023, Watts was a dangerous ball hawk for the Fighting Irish. He recorded seven interceptions with four passes defended while totaling 52 tackles. Watts (5-11, 198) has excellent ball skills and instincts while being inconsistent as a tackler and not having elite atheltic ability. Hence, he is more of a second-round pick.
Kansas City Chiefs: Darien Porter, CB, Iowa State
Kansas City could use more cornerback talent. In 2024, Porter was a dependable cover corner for the Cyclones. He had 18 tackles with three interceptions and two passes broken up. Porter started out his career at wide receiver before switching to cornerback. Porter has a tremendous skill set with a ton of upside. He is a riser and could end up going in the early rounds. Porter helped himself with a fast 40 times at the combine.
Philadelphia Eagles: Mason Taylor, TE, LSU
The Eagles could use a tight end to go with and replace Dallas Goedert. The 6-foot-5, 245-pound Taylor is a dangerous receiver who combines good route-running with quickness, athleticism, size, and natural feel. Taylor had 55 receptions for 546 yards and two touchdowns. He has played well as a receiver and showed the ability to help in pass protection and block the C-gap. Taylor looks like a potential three-down starter for the NFL. Taylor played well as a sophomore and freshman as well.
