2/16: “Panthers scouts envisioned Russell Wilson in a mini-Cam role two years ago, but didn’t want to invest a mid-round pick on him. If the Panthers choose not to re-sign Derek Anderson, Boyd could be an intriguing option in a later round.” – Charlotte Observer

  13. New England Patriots:
5/9: Ryan Mallett is not available for a trade, according to Ed Werder.

5/8: “Second source says nothing doing at the moment on Mallett to Houston. We’ll watch how it plays out. Makes sense if Clowney is No. 1.” – Tom Curran, CSN NE

5/8: “A source tells me Ryan Mallett to the Texans may soon be done.” – Tom Curran, CSN NE

4/23: The Patriots have met with Austin Seferian-Jenkins twice thus far (Combine, pre-draft visit). Go here for the entire NFL Draft Prospect Meetings List.

4/18: The Packers, Patriots, Broncos and Jaguars are teams in the 21-40 range that could take Weston Richburg, according to Tony Pauline.

4/18: “Don’t be surprised if Patriots take a running back in the first round. Maybe Carlos Hyde.” – Daniel Jeremiah

4/17: “Dominique Easley/DL/Florida drawing heavy interest from Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, NE Patriots and San Francisco 49ers.” – Tony Pauline

4/16: Ravens, Falcons, Patriots, Colts, Browns and Jets have shown the most interest in Michael Sam. per Aaron Wilson.

4/15: The Patriots have met with Bruce Ellington twice thus far (private workout, pre-draft visit). Go here for the entire NFL Draft Prospect Meetings List.

4/11: The Patriots will draft a quarterback in this draft because they believe they will lose Ryan Mallett next offseason, according to Tony Pauline.

2/23: “The Patriots have been taking a heavy look at the tight end prospects at the combine, to little surprise.” – Ben Volin, Boston Globe

2/18: “Amaro would be logical at 29. So would Hageman. I think the other top guys (at DL/TE) will be gone.” – Mike Mayock

2/14: “Alabama’s Jeoffrey Pagan’s versatility and background in Nick Saban’s system make him a prospect to keep on the radar in the middle rounds.” – Mike Reiss, ESPN Boston

2/10: “Robert Kraft says he hasn’t spoken to Bill Belichick about Michael Sam but added that ‘he knows that I would encourage him if (Sam) can help us win.'” – CBS Sports

  14. San Francisco 49ers:
5/6: “If Jets want WR Odell Beckham Jr, they’ll have to trade up. Hearing he won’t make it to 18. At least 1 team above them loves him.” – Rich Cimini, ESPN. This does not include the 49ers, who have been rumored to covet the LSU receiver so much that they might trade into the top 15 to acquire him.

5/5: “Teams pondering trading up for a WR: 49ers & Jets. Beckham, Cooks, Lee possible targets. For SF, move into teens more likely than Top 5.” – Ian Rapoport

5/5: The 49ers could target Zach Mettenberger if he makes it into Day 3, according to Matt Maiocco, CSN Bay Area.

4/30: “Hearing same buzz as last year #49ers are very interested in an LSU player: WR Odell Beckham.” – Eric Branch, San Francisco Chronicle

4/30: “All those teams in top 10 might draft me but I been thinking outside the box interesting phone calls.” – Sammy Watkins. The 49ers have the ammo to move up for him.

4/25: Chris Mortensen said that he heard twice that the 49ers could be “ready to do something big” during the draft.

4/21: The 49ers have met with C.J. Fiedorowicz twice thus far (Senior Bowl, pre-draft visit). Go here for the entire NFL Draft Prospect Meetings List.

4/17: “Dominique Easley/DL/Florida drawing heavy interest from Seattle Seahawks, Chicago Bears, NE Patriots and San Francisco 49ers.” – Tony Pauline

3/1: “Four of the 49ers 2013 draft picks and two undrafted rookies who made the team in 2013 had arms 34 inches or longer.” – Matt Barrows, Sacramento Bee

2/25: “Verrett could interest 49ers.” – Bill Williamson, ESPN

2/21: “49ers GM Trent Baalke likes arm length. “All our (d-) linemen last year had arms that were at least 34 inches long.”” – Vic Tafur

2/14: “49ers Could see trade fitting as high as 12 with Giants. That could land Evans or Lee and not ruin entire draft.” – Bill Williamson, ESPN

1/24: “Trent Murphy is on the radar for the San Francisco 49ers. The 49ers don’t have a big need at the position, but with a plethora of picks, they could stand to get some pass rushing depth and that isn’t a bad idea considering Aldon Smith’s situation.” – Charlie Campbell

  15. Denver Broncos:
5/8: “Broncos are talking about moving up.” – Ian Rapoport. This would make sense, fitting Denver’s win-now mentality.

5/6: The Broncos love Ra’Shede Hageman, per Peter King.

4/21: The Buccaneers, Panthers and Broncos have met with Donte Moncrief twice thus far (private workout, pre-draft visit). Go here for the entire NFL Draft Prospect Meetings List.

4/18: The Packers, Patriots, Broncos and Jaguars are teams in the 21-40 range that could take Weston Richburg, according to Tony Pauline.

2/18: Mike Mayock likes Scott Crichton to the Broncos. Called him a “poor man’s Chris Long.”

2/13: “The Broncos could spend a premium pick on a corner like Kyle Fuller from Virginia Tech. … Other cornerbacks the Broncos could consider are: Stanley Jean-Baptiste (Nebraska), Chris Davis (Auburn) or Antone Exum (Virginia Tech).” – Cecil Lammey
