  1. Arizona Cardinals: Devin Singletary, RB, Florida Atlantic
There’s been chatter about the Cardinals trading David Johnson, who is coming off a down year. If so, they might be looking to draft a running back on Day 2.

Devin Singletary doesn’t have great long speed, but he possesses terrific patience and can break through plenty of tackles.

  2. Pittsburgh Steelers: Miles Boykin, WR, Notre Dame
Antonio Brown is long gone. The Steelers will need a new receiver to complement JuJu Smith-Schuster and James Washington.

Miles Boykin is a big receiver who will be able to be a mismatch weapon in the NFL.

Pick change; previously Darnell Savage, S

  3. San Francisco 49ers: Terrill Hanks, LB, New Mexico State
The 49ers have scouted linebackers heavily this offseason, which makes sense because they need a replacement for Reuben Foster.

Pick change; previously N’Keal Harry, WR

  4. New York Jets: Julian Love, CB, Notre Dame
The Jets made some nice additions to their roster this offseason, but they still have a huge hole at cornerback that they need to address.

Julian Love is only 5-10, but he has great instincts and ball skills.

  5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Taylor Rapp, S, Washington
Jacksonville had a great defense in 2017, but the unit took a step back last year, thanks in part to declining safety play. Here’s some help at the position.

Teams Charlie Campbell spoke to consider Taylor Rapp a candidate to sneak into the end of the first round. Other sources have soured on him since, but he’s still in second-round consideration.

Pick change; previously Nasir Adderley, S

  6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Sean Bunting, CB, Central Michigan
The Buccaneers have had issues at cornerback for years. They must obtain some help at the position to finally be able to stop the pass.

Sean Bunting is a lengthy cornerback (6-1, 181) with good ball skills, and he tested better than expected at the combine.

Pick change; previously Oshane Ximines, DE/OLB

  7. Denver Broncos: Jarrett Stidham, QB, Auburn
If the Broncos pass on Drew Lock and the other quarterbacks at No. 10 overall, they could find their signal-caller of the future with this selection.

Jarrett Stidham struggled early in his first year at Auburn, but improved as the season progressed. He eventually knocked off Alabama and Georgia. Stidham, however, struggled in 2018.

  8. Cincinnati Bengals: Mack Wilson, LB, Alabama
The Bengals have to spend multiple selections on linebackers. That position was a weak point even before Vontaze Burfict was released.

Mack Wilson has good coverage skills, so he’ll generate interest from teams on Day 2.

  9. New England Patriots: Josh Oliver, TE, San Jose State
Rob Gronkowski just announced his retirement, so the Patriots should spend an early pick on a tight end.

  10. Buffalo Bills: Kahale Warring, TE, San Diego State
The Bills added some upgrades to their receiving corps this offseason, but they still have a big void at tight end. Josh Allen needs a reliable intermediate target.

Pick change; previously Justice Hill, RB

  11. Green Bay Packers: Tytus Howard, OT, Alabama State
The Packers have scouted offensive tackles more than any other position leading up to the 2019 NFL Draft, so I imagine they’ll use one of their first four selections on an edge blocker to perhaps take over for Bryan Bulaga in the near future.

Pick change; previously Ben Banogu, DE/OLB

  12. Washington Redskins: Max Scharping, G/OT, Northern Illinois
The Redskins have also scouting offensive tackles heavily. Aside from quarterback, that’s the top position they’ve focused on this offseason. They’ll need to replace Trent Williams soon, so it makes sense to take a starter for the future.

Pick change; previously Connor McGovern, G/C

  13. Carolina Panthers: Renell Wren, DE/DT, Arizona State
The Panthers must upgrade their front seven, as they need help on both the defensive line and edge rusher for their new 3-4 defense.

Renell Wren was a captain at Arizona State. He possesses great potential, as he tested off the charts at the combine.

Pick change; previously Andy Isabella, WR

  14. Miami Dolphins: Christian Miller, DE/OLB, Alabama
The Dolphins lost all of their edge rushers this offseason, so they’ll need to find some new players who can put consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

  15. Atlanta Falcons: Darrell Henderson, RB, Memphis
I imagine the Falcons will use a Round 2-4 selection on a running back after losing Tevin Coleman to free agency.

Pick change; previously Chase Winovich, DE/OLB

  16. Cleveland Browns: Khalen Saunders, DT, Western Illinois
The Browns have an excellent starting quartet on the defensive line, but they could use some quality depth up front.

Pick change; previously Saivion Smith, CB

  17. Minnesota Vikings: Jace Sternberger, TE, Texas A&M
The Vikings have done a ton of work on the tight ends in this draft class, which makes sense because Kyle Rudolph is entering his contract year.

Pick change; previously Dru Samia, G

  18. Tennessee Titans: Justin Hollins, LB, Oregon
The Titans really need to bolster their edge rush after losing both Brian Orakpo and Derrick Morgan this offseason.

Pick change; previously Zach Allen, DE/DT

  19. Pittsburgh Steelers: Trayveon Williams, RB, Texas A&M
The Steelers will be in search of a new running back to complement James Conner in the wake of Le’Veon Bell’s departure.

Trayveon Williams needs to continue to build strength, but he has explosive ability. He can also catch passes fairly well.

Pick change; previously Miles Boykin, WR

  20. Kansas City Chiefs: Myles Gaskin, RB, Washington
Damien Williams played well to close out the year, but the Chiefs will still be in the market for another running back not named Carlos Hyde to share the workload.

  21. Baltimore Ravens: Deionte Thompson, S, Alabama
The Ravens could go after a young safety despite signing Earl Thomas.

Deionte Thompson has a great blend of size (6-2, 196), speed and athleticism. However, he struggled mightily in the second half of the 2018 season, causing his stock to drop.

  22. Houston Texans: Isaiah Johnson, CB, Houston
Outside of the offensive line, Houston’s top need is at cornerback. I expect the Texans to address this area in the first three rounds.

Isaiah Johnson had a tremendous combine performance, running a 4.40 and posting an 11-1 broad jump at 6-2, 208.

Pick change; previously Kahale Warring, TE

  23. Chicago Bears: Dexter Williams, RB, Notre Dame
The Bears traded Jordan Howard to the Eagles, so here’s a replacement.

Dexter Williams had a nice performance at the combine, outside of the receiving drills.

  24. Detroit Lions: J.J. Arcega-Whiteside, WR, Stanford
Detroit’s offense suffered a sharp decline after Golden Tate was traded. Here’s a long-term replacement in the receiving corps.

J.J. Arcega-Whiteside has speed concerns, but he’s a mismatch receiver with great size (6-3, 225).

  25. Indianapolis Colts: Jahlani Tavai, LB, Hawaii
Darius Butler had an amazing rookie season, but the Colts still need a bit of help in their linebacking corps.

  26. Dallas Cowboys: Trysten Hill, NT, Central Florida
The Cowboys need help in the interior of the defensive line after losing David Irving this offseason.

Trysten Hill is a massive nose tackle who can clog running lanes. He was stellar at the combine.

  27. Los Angeles Chargers: Dru Samia, G, Oklahoma
I mentioned earlier that the Chargers’ defensive front was bullied in the playoff loss to the Patriots. The offensive line wasn’t much better, so Philip Rivers’ protection must improve.

Pick change; previously Khalen Saunders, DT

  28. Seattle Seahawks: Chase Winovich, DE/OLB, Michigan
The Seahawks lost Frank Clark in the trade to the Chiefs, so here’s a new edge rusher to potentially replace his production.

Chase Winovich has incredible speed off the edge and never quits. He dominated Notre Dame in the 2018 opener.

Pick change; previously Isaiah Johnson, CB

  29. New York Jets: Yodny Cajuste, OT, West Virginia
The Jets’ offensive line last year was just 18th in adjusted sack rate, while their run blocking was the league’s worst.

  30. Los Angeles Rams: Mike Edwards, S, Kentucky
The Rams just acquired Eric Weddle, but I imagine that they’ll want to find a safety for the future in the middle of the draft.

Pick change; previously Trayveon Williams, RB

  31. New York Giants: Zach Allen, DE/DT, Boston College
Here’s another pick used on the front seven, as the Giants need to bolster their defensive line in addition to their edge rush.

Zach Allen needs to develop more pass-rushing moves, but he has a nice combination of size and strength, and he happens to be a stout run defender and a quality pass-rusher.

Pick change; previously Trayveon Williams, RB

  32. Washington Redskins: Dawson Knox, TE, Ole Miss
Jordan Reed has proven to be unreliable, so the Redskins will need to find a new tight end.

  33. New England Patriots: Maxx Crosby, DE, Eastern Michigan
The Patriots lost Trey Flowers this offseason, so they’ll need to find someone new to make sure they can still apply consistent pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

  34. Jacksonville Jaguars: Saivion Smith, CB, Alabama
Jalen Ramsey is creating some problems, so here’s an insurance policy in case the Jaguars get fed up with him.

Pick change; previously Jace Sternberger, TE

  35. Los Angeles Rams: Joejuan Williams, CB, Vanderbilt
The Rams didn’t have very good cornerback play last year for the most part, as Marcus Peters was hardly the same player he once was.

  36. Carolina Panthers: Amani Hooker, S/LB/CB, Iowa
The Panthers re-signed Eric Reid, but they could use another safety to help their poor secondary.

Amani Hooker is extremely versatile. In addition to safety, he can be used at cornerback and linebacker as well.

  37. New England Patriots: Will Harris, S, Boston College
Here’s a potential replacement for one of the McCourty brothers, as New England needs some young defensive backs.

  38. Baltimore Ravens: Andy Isabella, WR, UMass
The Ravens lost John Brown and Michael Crabtree in free agency. They now have a huge void at receiver.

Pick change; previously Amani Oruwariye, CB
