  1. Arizona Cardinals: Terry Godwin, WR, Georgia
Larry Fitzgerald will return next year, but 2019 might be his last season. If so, a starter will be needed across from Christian Kirk in 2020 and beyond.

Terry Godwin is an explosive, precise route-runner who can get separation easily.

  2. New York Jets: Chase Claypool, WR, Notre Dame
The Jets could go after multiple running backs and receivers in the draft, as Sam Darnold needs as many weapons as possible.

Chase Claypool appears to have tremendous potential, as he has a great mix of size (6-4, 228) and speed (4.50 40).

  3. Oakland Raiders: Zach Gentry, TE, Michigan
Jared Cook is a free agent, so he’ll need to be replaced if the Raiders can’t retain him.

  4. New York Giants: Andre James, OT, UCLA
It would be a mistake for the Giants to exit the 2019 NFL Draft without two new offensive linemen.

Andre James played both left and right tackle at UCLA.

  5. New York Giants: Te’von Coney, LB, Notre Dame
The Giants have had issues at linebacker for years. Perhaps they’ll finally do something about it this offseason.

  6. Cleveland Browns: Darius Slayton, WR, Auburn
The Browns could target multiple receivers in the 2019 NFL Draft, given how lackluster Baker Mayfield’s weapons are.

Darius Slayton was an inconsistent at Auburn. He needed another year in school to refine his game.

Pick change; previously Gary Jennings, WR

  7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: L.J. Collier, DE, TCU
The Buccaneers could use some young blood on their defensive front.

L.J. Collier is a tough run defender, but his body needs lots of development.

  8. Detroit Lions: Mike Bell, S, Fresno State
The Lions need help all over their defense, and that includes their dubious safety situation.

Mike Bell has some excellent coverage skills.

  9. Buffalo Bills: Elijah Hoylfield, RB, Georgia
LeSean McCoy won’t be around much longer, so here’s a potential starter for the future.

  10. Denver Broncos: Terry Beckner Jr., DE/DT, Missouri
The Broncos have some injury/character concerns on the defensive line, so perhaps they’ll take someone for the front line in the middle rounds.

Terry Beckner is good in both run support and the pass rush, but he has a history of knee injuries.

Pick change; previously Darnell Savage, S

  11. Cincinnati Bengals: Brett Rypien, QB, Boise State
The Bengals need to find a quarterback to develop behind Andy Dalton, so perhaps they’ll do that in the middle rounds this year.

  12. Green Bay Packers: Ben Banogu, DE/OLB, TCU
The Packers could stand to add a second edge rusher with Clay Matthews’ career winding down.

Ben Banogu is quick off the edge, but needs to improve his technique.

  13. Miami Dolphins: Keelan Doss, WR, UC-Davis
DeVante Parker has been a colossal bust. The Dolphins need to upgrade their pedestrian receiving corps.

Pick change; previously Khalen Saunders, DT

  14. Atlanta Falcons: Mark Fields, CB, Clemson
The Falcons cut Robert Alford, so they could be looking for some cornerback depth in the middle rounds.

  15. Green Bay Packers: Ryan Bates, OT/G, Penn State
The Packers are another team that must find multiple upgrades to the offensive line, as protecting Aaron Rodgers is paramount.

Ryan Bates can play guard and both tackle spots. His versatility could vault him into the early portion of Day 3.

  16. Carolina Panthers: Myles Gaskin, RB, Washington
The Panthers need a viable backup plan at running back if Christian McCaffrey were to suffer an injury.

  17. Cleveland Browns: Maxx Crosby, DE, Eastern Michigan
The Browns should add to their pass rush, as they’ll have to defeat Ben Roethlisberger at some point.

  18. Denver Broncos: Khari Willis, S, Michigan State
The Broncos have had issues at safety over the past couple of years, so they may address the position in the middle rounds.

Pick change; previously Terry Beckner, DT

  19. Tennessee Titans: Marvell Tell, S, USC
Johnathan Cyprien hasn’t been able to stay healthy, while replacement Kenny Vaccaro was just a short-term solution. The Titans may look for a safety in the early or middle rounds of the NFL Draft.

  20. Buffalo Bills: Hunter Renfrow, WR, Clemson
Here’s another receiver for the Bills, who are starved for talent at the position.

Hunter Renfrow is a small slot receiver, but he has great quickness and excellent hands.

  21. Seattle Seahawks: Jamal Davis, LB, Akron
Long-time linebacker K.J. Wright will test free agency this offseason. If he leaves, the Seahawks will have to target a linebacker at some point.

  22. Baltimore Ravens: Shareef Miller, DE, Penn State
The Ravens could add a young edge rusher with Terrell Suggs’ career soon coming to an end.

Pick change; previously Chase Claypool, WR

  23. Denver Broncos: David Edwards, OT, Wisconsin
Here’s another offensive lineman for the Broncos, as they must bolster their pass protection for their new quarterback.

  24. Chicago Bears: Alex Barnes, RB, Kansas State
Jordan Howard hasn’t performed like he did in his rookie campaign, so the Bears may use a mid-round pick on a running back.

Alex Barnes is a 225-pound running back who picks up plenty of yards after contact.

  25. Philadelphia Eagles: Montre Hartage, CB/S, Northwestern
It shouldn’t surprise anyone if the Eagles obtain multiple new cornerbacks this offseason, given how bad their group was last year.

  26. Indianapolis Colts: Kevin Givens, DT, Penn State
The Colts need to find multiple pieces in an attempt to improve their lackluster pass rush.

  27. Dallas Cowboys: Bryce Love, RB, Stanford
The Cowboys could do better than Rod Smith as far as a backup for Ezekiel Elliott.

Bryce Love has a great mix of balance, underrated strength, vision and home-run ability. He has major injury issues, however, and could fall into the middle of Day 3. Let this be a lesson: If you’re a underclassman projected to go in the first round, declare for the NFL Draft! Nothing bad may happen, but you could suffer the same, unfortunate fate as Love.

  28. Los Angeles Chargers: Iman Marshall, CB, USC
Jason Verrett can’t stay healthy, so here’s some needed cornerback depth.

  29. Kansas City Chiefs: Damon Arnette, CB, Ohio State
It shouldn’t surprise anyone if the Chiefs double up on cornerbacks in the 2019 NFL Draft, given their poor play at the position.

Damon Arnette struggled early in 2017, but improved as the season progressed. He has nice size (6-0) and speed (4.40), but once again struggled in 2018.

  30. New Orleans Saints: Khalen Saunders, DT, Western Illinois
Sheldon Rankins tore his Achilles in January, so he may not be able to play in 2019. The Saints may pursue a defensive tackle in the middle rounds as a result.

Khalen Saunders is a 320-pound nose tackle who had a terrific Senior Bowl.

Pick change; previously Iman Marshall, CB

  31. Los Angeles Rams: Tre Watson, LB, Maryland
The Rams need some help at linebacker, as a new starter next to Cory Littleton should be obtained.

Tre Watson seems like he’ll be a strong two-down run defender in the NFL.

  32. Cleveland Browns: Cole Tracy, K, LSU
The Browns have several picks in the fifth round, so perhaps they’ll use one of them to solve their kicking woes.

  33. New York Giants: Lukas Denis, S, Boston College
It doesn’t sound like Landon Collins will be back next year, so here’s a potential replacement.

  34. Atlanta Falcons: Sutton Smith, DE/OLB, Northern Illinois
It makes sense for the Falcons to pursue another edge rusher, given how poor their pass rush has been.

  35. Washington Redskins: Kendall Blanton, TE, Missouri
The Redskins can’t count on Jordan Reed staying healthy, so they could add a new tight end at some point this offseason.
