Last update: Monday, March 11, 2013. Major changes in all 5 rounds.
Next update: Next week. Follow me @walterfootball for updates.

You can find the complete seven-round 2013 NFL Draft Order by clicking the link.

  1. Jacksonville Jaguars: J.J. Wilcox, S, Georgia Southern
The Jaguars released Dawan Landry. They need a new starter and some depth at safety.

    Follow @walterfootball for updates.

Pick change; previously Matt Scott, QB

  2. Kansas City Chiefs: Mike Glennon, QB, N.C. State
Don’t count out the Chiefs using a mid-round pick on a young quarterback to groom behind Alex Smith. If the Redskins could use first- and fourth-rounders on signal-callers, why can’t Kansas City?

Pick change; previously William Gholston, DE/DT

  3. Oakland Raiders: Logan Ryan, CB, Rutgers
The Raiders were without their two starting cornerbacks most of this season. Ronald Bartell was released, while Shawntae Spencer just isn’t very good.

  4. Philadelphia Eagles: Jordan Poyer, CB, Oregon State
Brandon Boykin was a nice pick in the fourth round, but he won’t be enough if Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie leaves via free agency, as Philadelphia wants three high-level cornerbacks. Nnamdi Asomugha was already cut by the Eagles, according to Howard Eskin.

Pick change; previously Brandon Williams, NT

  5. Minnesota Vikings: Bacarri Rambo, S, Georgia
As noted in my Minnesota Vikings NFL Offseason Needs, Harrison Smith deserves Rookie of the Year consideration, but he’s the only talented safety on Minnesota’s roster.

Pick change; previously A.J. Klein, ILB

  6. Arizona Cardinals: Tony Jefferson, S, Oklahoma
Adrian Wilson has been a great player for the Cardinals for many years, but his tenure in Arizona could be over. Wilson, due $3.5 million in 2013, was demoted out of nickel packages in the second half of the season. The Cardinals could release him, which will open up a big need at strong safety.

Pick change; previously Baccari Rambo, S

  7. Cleveland Browns: Travis Kelce, TE, Cincinnati
Ben Watson is a free agent, while Jordan Cameron, drafted by the old regime, hasn’t shown much yet. The Browns will likely search for a tight end upgrade this offseason.

Pick change; previously Gavin Escobar, TE

  8. Buffalo Bills: Jon Bostic, ILB, Florida
Kelvin Sheppard was a big disappointment in his sophomore campaign. Nick Barnett, meanwhile, was just released. Two upgrades are needed at linebacker.

  9. New York Jets: John Simon, DE/OLB, Ohio State
The Jets’ inability to get to the quarterback needs to be fixed. Calvin Pace was recently cut, so a replacement is needed.

Pick change; previously Montee Ball, RB

  10. Tennessee Titans: Mike Gillislee, RB, Florida
Chris Johnson’s production picked up at the end of the year, but he still did a ton of dancing at the line of scrimmage. The Titans should add a mid-round running back just in case CJ2K sucks again.

  11. Carolina Panthers: Cobi Hamilton, WR, Arkansas
Panthers’ head coach Commander Adama hinted that signing Mike Wallace is a possibility this spring. It’s at least an indication that Carolina is looking to upgrade the receiver position. If the team can’t get Wallace, perhaps it’ll use an early selection on a wideout.

Pick change; previously Jordan Poyer, CB

  12. New Orleans Saints: Brandon Williams, NT, Missouri Southern
Another piece for New Orleans’ new 3-4. The Saints could use a long-term solution at nose tackle behind Brodrick Bunkley.

Pick change; previously Brennan Williams, OT

  13. San Diego Chargers: Montee Ball, RB, Wisconsin
The Chargers will probably be looking for a running back early in the 2013 NFL Draft. This new front office has no ties to Ryan Mathews, who is an injury-prone bust.

Pick change; previously Joseph Randle, RB

  14. Miami Dolphins: Montori Hughes, NT, Tennessee-Martin
The Dolphins franchised Randy Starks, but Paul Soliai is entering his walk year. That means both defensive tackles will be free agents next March.

Pick change; previously Le’Veon Bell, RB

  15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Brennan Williams, OT, North Carolina
Donald Penn struggled to close out the year, while Demar Dotson isn’t very good. The Buccaneers will be looking to bring in another tackle.

Pick change; previously Will Davis, CB

  16. St. Louis Rams: David Quessenberry, G/C/OT, San Jose State
Another offensive line upgrade. As mentioned before, Jeff Fisher discussed how he wants to upgrade the offensive line to give Sam Bradford a chance.

  17. Dallas Cowboys: Andre Ellington, RB, Clemson
The Cowboys are expected to use a mid-round pick on a running back. Jerry Jones recently said that none of DeMarco Murray’s current backups are considered No. 2 runners.

  18. Pittsburgh Steelers: T.J. McDonald, S, USC
Troy Polamalu can’t seem to get healthy, while Ryan Clark, who just turned 33, will be entering his contract year. The Steelers need to get younger at safety.

Pick change; previously Andre Ellington, RB

  19. New York Giants: Kiko Alonso, ILB, Oregon
As mentioned, Jerry Reese singled out the linebacker corps as one area he had to upgrade. Two new starters are needed. Kiko Alonso could compete with Chase Blackburn for the job.

Pick change; previously Leon McFadden, CB

  20. Chicago Bears: Ty Powell, OLB, Harding
With Nick Roach and Brian Urlacher heading for free agency, two of Chicago’s starting linebackers are projected to be JT Thomas and Blake Costanzo.

Pick change; previously Dion Sims, TE

  21. Cincinnati Bengals: Tyrann Mathieu, CB, LSU
Cincinnati just drafted Dre Kirkpatrick in the first round last year, but an early cornerback selection is still in play because the team has zero cornerback depth. That’s a problem because Mike Zimmer loves having three corners on the field.

Pick change; previously Chris Faulk, OT

  22. Washington Redskins: Leon McFadden, CB, San Diego State
DeAngelo Hall, who has been inconsistent this year, is due $7.5 million in 2013, but none of it is guaranteed. Josh Wilson, meanwhile, will be entering his contract year. The Redskins will have to add some depth at cornerback.

Pick change; previously Dwayne Gratz, CB

  23. Minnesota Vikings: A.J. Klein, ILB, Iowa State
Jasper Brinkley needs to be upgraded, so the Vikings will be looking for middle linebacker help at some point this offseason. Manti Te’o, Alec Ogletree and Kevin Minter are strong possibilities in Round 1. If Minnesota takes someone else, a prospect like A.J. Klein would make sense at this juncture.

Pick change; previously Tyler Wilson, QB

  24. Indianapolis Colts: Alvin Bailey, G, Arkansas
Here’s more offensive line help for the Colts. The weakest of Luck’s blockers was right guard Mike McGlynn, who was guilty of four sacks in the final four games.

  25. Green Bay Packers: Brian Schwenke, C, California
Can anyone explain why Jeff Saturday was voted to the Pro Bowl? He didn’t even start at the end of the season. The Packers had major problems at center after letting Scott Wells walk away, so they’ll have to address that area this spring.

  26. Seattle Seahawks: Chris Faulk, OT, LSU
Breno Giacomini was absolutely embarrassed in the season finale by Chris Long. Granted, Long has made so many right tackles look bad this year, but Giacomini has struggled in pass protection for most of the season.

Pick change; previously Jordan Mills, OT

  27. Houston Texans: Ryan Otten, TE, San Jose State
The Texans love utilizing multiple tight ends. They’ll be looking for another one this offseason.

Pick change; previously Hugh Thornton, G

  28. Denver Broncos: Dwayne Gratz, CB, Connecticut
It really bothered me that none of the ESPN shows discussed how unbelievably bad Champ Bailey was against the Ravens. He looked like a member of New Orleans’ secondary. He could be done. Help is needed.

Pick change; previously B.W. Webb, CB

  29. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: B.W. Webb, CB, William & Mary
The Buccaneers don’t ever shy away from doubling up on positions. They may do so at cornerback, as this was a huge area of need even before the Aqib Talib trade.

Pick change; previously Travis Kelce, TE

  30. Atlanta Falcons: Joseph Randle, RB, Oklahoma State
The Falcons have been linked to Steven Jackson. If they can’t get him or another top free agent running back, they may use an early selection on a replacement for Michael Turner.

Pick change; previously Chris Harper, WR

  31. San Francisco 49ers: Marcus Lattimore, RB, South Carolina
There was some talk at the Combine about how the 49ers might spend a mid-round selection on Marcus Lattimore because they have so many draft choices. In the wake of the Alex Smith trade, that’s an even greater possibility, as San Francisco can afford to take this sort of gamble. Lattimore may not be able to play in 2013, but the 49ers could have a stud back in 2014 and beyond.

  32. Baltimore Ravens: Will Davis, CB, Utah State
The Ravens suddenly have glaring issues at cornerback. Lardarius Webb tore an ACL for the second time in his career, while Cary Williams is a free agent.

Pick change; previously Tyrann Mathieu, CB
