  1. Oakland Raiders: Marlon Davidson, DE, Auburn
It would be a mistake for the Raiders not to spend multiple selections on edge rushers.

Marlon Davidson wasn’t a huge contributor for Auburn as a freshman, but he thrived this previous season.

  2. San Francisco 49ers: Antoine Wesley, WR, Texas Tech
The 49ers could stand to add another receiver to go along with Dante Pettis and Marquise Goodwin.

Antoine Wesley was very productive at Texas Tech and has great size (6-5, 200), but his route running isn’t very good.

Pick change; previously Michael Jordan, C/G

  3. Arizona Cardinals: Austin Bryant, DE, Clemson
The Cardinals need to add another edge rusher to give them a dynamic threat across from Chandler Jones.

Austin Bryant played his way into first-round consideration last year, and he has a chance to improve his stock even further with a strong 2018 campaign.

  4. Buffalo Bills: Isaiah Buggs, NT, Alabama
The Bills need to improve against the run, and the Star Lotulelei signing is already looking like a bust.

Isaiah Buggs has been a big-time run-stuffing nose tackle for Alabama since joining the team from the JUCO ranks.

Pick change; previously Trayveon Williams, RB

  5. Jacksonville Jaguars: Marcus Norman, OT, South Florida
Blocking is a problem right now for Jacksonville, so the front office will need to strengthen its offensive line for its new quarterback.

Marcus Norman is having a great 2018 season, as scouts have been impressed with his length and athleticism.

  6. Atlanta Falcons: Michael Deiter, G/C, Wisconsin
The Falcons could stand to upgrade their interior offensive line, which is a weak area outside of center.

Michael Deiter has started at center and guard for Wisconsin, so teams will like his versatility.

  7. New York Jets: Chase Winovich, DE/OLB, Michigan
Some Jet fan e-mailers were furious that their team didn’t add an edge rusher in the previous draft. My response was that this was more than just a short rebuilding process, and I’m sure general manager Mike Maccagnan was well aware that the 2019 NFL Draft will be loaded with edge rushers.

Chase Winovich has incredible speed off the edge. He dominated Notre Dame in the 2018 opener.

  8. Cincinnati Bengals: Cameron Smith, LB, USC
The Bengals have had issues defending the middle of the field whenever Vontaze Burfict or Nick Vigil have been missing. They may want to add another linebacker.

  9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Carl Granderson, DE, Wyoming
Jason Pierre-Paul and Vinny Curry were signed this offseason, but neither is a long-term solution for the Buccaneers. Some youth at defensive end is needed.

Carl Granderson has impressed scouts, and they believe he has great potential because of his frame.

  10. New England Patriots: Gerald Willis, DT, Miami
It’s evident that the Patriots need upgrades all over their defense after blowing a 24-9 lead against Kansas City. They lack an interior pass rush, so that’s something they can focus on improving next offseason.

Gerald Willis is having a great senior season. He’s had off-the-field issues, so hopefully those are behind him. He’s the younger brother of Landon Collins.

  11. Green Bay Packers: Johnathan Abram, S, Mississippi State
The Packers traded Ha Ha Clinton-Dix away and have gotten much weaker at safety, so they’ll need to find a replacement.

Johnathan Abram is a forceful, physical run defender who has good coverage skills.

Pick change; previously Connor McGovern, G/C

  12. Cleveland Browns: Devin Bush, LB, Michigan
The Browns need better linebacker play to complement Joe Schobert. They seemed to have that leading up to the season before Mychal Kendricks was popped for insider trading.

  13. Detroit Lions: Deebo Samuel, WR, South Carolina
Matthew Stafford has looked lost ever since the Lions traded away Golden Tate. Detroit will need to replace Tate.

Pick change; previously Sean Bunting, CB

  14. Denver Broncos: Emanuel Hall, WR, Missouri
Demaryius Thomas was traded, and Emmanuel Sanders just tore his Achilles. The Broncos will need another receiver to complement Courtland Sutton.

Emanuel Hall is a 6-1 receiver with tremendous speed. His hands and motivation are an issue, but he has first-round talent.

  15. Washington Redskins: Garrett Bradberry, C, N.C. State
The Redskins have one of the worst centers in the NFL, so that’s a position they’ll sorely need to upgrade.

Garrett Bradberry is an athletic center who used to be a former tight end.

  16. Carolina Panthers: Blace Brown, CB, Troy
The Panthers need to continue fixing their secondary, which is atrocious.

  17. Tennessee Titans: Lil’Jordan Humphrey, WR, Texas
The Titans are devoid of play-makers in their receiving corps outside of Corey Davis, so this is an area they’ll need to address this spring.

Lil’Jordan Humphrey is a big, fast receiver who would be slotted higher in this mock draft if he didn’t have multiple off-the-field issues.

Pick change; previously Deebo Samuel, WR

  18. Miami Dolphins: Bennie Snell Jr., RB, Kentucky
The Dolphins don’t seem to trust Kenyan Drake, so they may want to spend an early pick on a running back.

Bennie Snell Jr. averaged nearly six yards per carry in 2016, and now he’s the feature back with Boom Williams gone. He’s a tough runner who could sneak into the first round.

  19. Indianapolis Colts: Kendall Willekes, DE/OLB, Michigan State
The Colts added dynamic interior defender to the roster earlier. However, they still will need one more upgrade on the defensive line.

Kendall Willekes has been a terror off the edge this year. He can probably play in both the 4-3 and 3-4, but seems more suited for the latter.

  20. Minnesota Vikings: Dalton Risner, OT, Kansas State
The Vikings desperately need to bolster their offensive line, which is the weakness of their team.

Dalton Risner had problems with speed rushers on the edge, but has improved his play in 2018.

Pick change; previously Tytus Howard, OT

  21. Baltimore Ravens: T.J. Edwards, LB, Wisconsin
The Ravens could stand to upgrade their linebacking corps, which has been lackluster when C.J. Mosley has been banged up.

  22. Pittsburgh Steelers: Beau Benzschawel, G, Wisconsin
Ramon Foster will be a 33-year-old free agent this spring, so the Steelers will have to think about finding a replacement.

Beau Benzschawel was told to return to school by draft advisory committee, but he has a chance to sneak into second round.

  23. Dallas Cowboys: Juwan Johnson, WR, Penn State
The Amari Cooper trade has been great thus far, but the Cowboys could use another receiver.

Pick change; previously Caleb Wilson, TE

  24. Seattle Seahawks: Joejuan Williams, CB, Vanderbilt
The Legion of Boom is no more. The Seahawks need another cornerback to create a new version of it.

Joejuan Williams is a big press corner who would fit in a Seattle style of defense.

  25. Chicago Bears: Tytus Howard, OT, Alabama State
This is Chicago’s first pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, so they better make it count! Right tackle Bobby Massie is heading for free agency next March, so a replacement will be needed.

Pick change; previously Bobby Evans, OT

  26. Houston Texans: Oshane Ximines, DE/OLB, Old Dominion
We saw last year that the Texans have very little depth at edge rusher, so this is something they’ll need to address.

Oshane Ximines has been a very productive edge rusher for Old Dominion. Level of competition is an issue, but he can dispel that with a strong showing in the pre-draft all-star games.

  27. Los Angeles Chargers: Jordan Brailford, DE/OLB, Oklahoma State
The Chargers could use another edge rusher in case Joey Bosa misses lots of time again.

Pick change; previously Isaiah Buggs, NT

  28. Cleveland Browns: Jaylon Ferguson, DE, Louisiana Tech
The Browns should continue to bolster their defensive line, as having as many talented pass rushers as possible will be useful in the AFC North.

  29. Jacksonville Jaguars: Caleb Wilson, TE, UCLA
Here’s another weapon for the new quarterback, as the Austin Seferian-Jenkins signing didn’t work out too well.

Serving as Josh Rosen’s favorite target, Caleb Wilson is a talented route-runner who was very productive last season. He needs to improve his blocking.

Pick change; previously Jared Pinkney, TE

  30. New York Jets: Damarkus Lodge, WR, Ole Miss
The Jets have a severe lack of receiving talent on their roster, so they should find a new wideout early in the 2019 NFL Draft.

DaMarkus Lodge has good run-after-catch skills.

Pick change; previously Lil’Jordan Humphrey, WR

  31. Kansas City Chiefs: Trayveon Williams, RB, Texas A&M
The Chiefs cut Kareem Hunt, so they’ll need to find a replacement at some point in Rounds 2-4.

Trayveon Williams needs to continue to build strength, but he has explosive ability. He can also catch passes fairly well.

Pick change; previously Wes Hills, RB
