  1. Cleveland Browns: James Cowser, DE/OLB, Southern Utah
It wouldn’t hurt if the Browns added another pass-rusher, given that their edge players all are having issues getting to the quarterback this season.

    Follow @walterfootball for updates.

Pick change; previously Yannick Ngakoue, DE/OLB

  2. Tennessee Titans: Eddie Jackson, S, Alabama
The Titans found some help for Marcus Mariota. Now, it’s time to upgrade the defense. The secondary in particular needs some work, as Tennessee needs better safety play to beat Andrew Luck.

  3. San Diego Chargers: Jack Allen, C, Michigan State
The Chargers said goodbye to Nick Hardwick this offseason. They’ve tried Chris Watt out as a replacement, but because he’s a natural guard at the center position, he was woeful in 2015 before landing on injured reserve. Here’s a solution.

Pick change; previously Dan Voltz, C

  4. Philadelphia Eagles: Travin Duval, WR, LSU
Jordan Matthews can’t stop dropping passes, while Nelson Agholor hasn’t done anything yet. The Eagles could add another receiver to the mix.

  5. Dallas Cowboys: Alex Collins, RB, Arkansas
Darren McFadden has looked good recently, but the Cowboys can’t really count on him for the long term. Here’s their running back of the future.

Pick change; previously Kentrell Brothers, LB

  6. Baltimore Ravens: Anthony Zettel, DE/DT, Penn State
Chris Canty doesn’t have many years ahead of him in the NFL, and the Ravens need to bolster their pass rush. They can do so by addressing their defensive line, finding a third player to go along with Brandon Williams and Timmy Jernigan.

Pick change; previously Chris Jones, DE/DT

  7. San Francisco 49ers: Tyler Matakevich, ILB, Temple
The 49ers could use help almost everywhere on defense. Perhaps they’ll focus on inside linebacker, a position that lost two Pro Bowl-caliber players to retirement the previous offseason.

Pick change; previously Carson Wentz, QB

  8. New Orleans Saints: Will Redmond, CB, Mississippi State
The Saints have to bolster their secondary. They need to do everything in their power to get Brandon Browner off the field. Knowing Browner, he’ll still be penalized on the sidelines.

Pick change; previously Kendall Fuller, CB

  9. St. Louis Rams: Kevon Seymour, CB, USC
Trumaine Johnson is an impending free agent, so the Rams could explore the cornerback position early in the 2016 NFL Draft.

  10. Chicago Bears: John Theus, OT, Georgia
Jermon Bushrod was benched earlier in the season, and replacement Charles Leno has actually been worse. Here’s an upgrade at tackle.

Pick change; previously O.J. Howard, TE

  11. Jacksonville Jaguars: Maurice Canady, CB, Virginia
If the Jaguars plan on using Jalen Ramsey at safety, which they should, they’ll search for cornerback help later on in the draft. They need to continue bolstering their horrible secondary.

Pick change; previously Carl Lawson, DE/OLB

  12. Miami Dolphins: Vonn Bell, S, Ohio State
Miami’s secondary is a mess. The front office will have to find help at both cornerback and safety, so here’s the best-available player from either position.

Pick change; previously Cameron Sutton, CB

  13. Oakland Raiders: Nate Andrews, S, Florida State
Despite his age, Charles Woodson is somehow playing like one of the top safeties in the NFL. As remarkable as this is, Woodson can’t last much longer, so here’s a future replacement.

  14. New York Giants: Cordrea Tankersley, CB, Clemson
With some impending free agents on the horizon at cornerback, the Giants could use a mid-round selection on the position.

  15. Houston Texans: Sterling Shepard, WR, Oklahoma
It’s amazing that DeAndre Hopkins is so productive, considering that there’s no one drawing attention across from him. The Texans want that to change.

Pick change; previously Rashard Higgins, WR

  16. Philadelphia Eagles: Tyler Johnstone, OT, Oregon
Chip Kelly screwed up big time by letting go of Evan Mathis this offseason, and he’s now paying the price. Meanwhile, Jason Peters doesn’t have much more left in the tank.

  17. Buffalo Bills: Sheldon Day, DT, Notre Dame
A second defensive tackle, as the Bills already needed depth with Kyle Williams on the roster.

  18. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Miles Killebrew, S, Southern Utah
It’s a sad day when Chris Conte is your top safety. The Buccaneers absolutely have to do something about this.

  19. Atlanta Falcons: Carl Lawson, DE/OLB, Auburn
The Falcons have the fewest sacks in the NFL. They’ll have to spend multiple resources on players this offseason to make sure that doesn’t happen again next year.

    Pick change; previously Pharoh, WR

  20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Germain Ifedi, OT/G, Texas A&M
Here’s some insurance for Kelvin Beachum, who tore his ACL. On top of being hurt, Beachum is an impending free agent, so it’s unclear if he’ll be back next year.

  21. Washington Redskins: Jeremy Cash, S, Duke
Here’s a potential upgrade for Washington’s woeful secondary. A couple of early picks in the 2016 NFL Draft could certainly be used on defensive backs.

  22. Indianapolis Colts: Zack Sanchez, CB, Oklahoma
Vontae Davis is having one of his worst seasons in a while, yet he’s still the best corner the Colts have. That tells you how the dire the situation is for Indianapolis at the position.

Pick change; previously Nick Martin, C

  23. New York Jets: Devontae Booker, RB, Utah
Chris Ivory had a great start to his season, but he hasn’t run as well recently. He’s a type of running back that usually doesn’t last very long, and it may not even matter to the Jets because he’s an impending free agent anyway.

  24. Minnesota Vikings: Sheldon Rankins, DT, Louisville
The Vikings could stand to benefit adding some depth to the interior of their defensive front.

  25. Kansas City Chiefs: Leonte Carroo, WR, Rutgers
The Chiefs need a receiver besides Jeremy Maclin. When Maclin left the game against the Chargers, the offense looked pretty lost for a while.

Pick change; previously Demarcus Robinson, WR

  26. Seattle Seahawks: Cody Whitehair, G, Kansas State
Here’s more help for Seattle’s offensive line. It goes without saying that the team will be so much more potent offensively if Russell Wilson’s blocking improves.

  27. Green Bay Packers: Rashard Higgins, WR, Colorado State
The Green Bay receivers have struggled this season. Having Jordy Nelson back next year will help, but Ted Thompson might look into drafting a wideout come April.

Pick change; previously Joshua Perry, DE/OLB

  28. Cincinnati Bengals: De’Runnya Wilson, WR, Mississippi State
Andy Dalton has enjoyed having more weapons to throw to, but there’s a chance he could lose some this offseason, as Marvin Jones and Mohamed Sanu will both be impending free agents. The Bengals don’t have much depth at receiver, as we saw last year, so they’ll probably have to spend multiple resources on improving this area.

  29. Denver Broncos: Dan Voltz, C, Wisconsin
Denver’s offensive line hasn’t blocked well at all this season. John Elway will need to find Peyton Manning (or Brock Osweiler?) better blocking next offseason.

Pick change; previously Max Tuerk, C

  30. Arizona Cardinals: Spencer Drango, OT, Baylor
Someone to push D.J. Humphries, perhaps? Humphries hasn’t looked like he can play in the NFL at all.

  31. New England Patriots: Kyle Murphy, OT, Stanford
Considering the poor pass protection Tom Brady has endured this season, Bill Belichick may want to spend an early selection on a blocker.

  32. Carolina Panthers: Parker Ehinger, OT, Cincinnati
Four of the five Carolina offensive linemen have blocked very well this year. The exception is the blind-side protector, Michael Oher. The Panthers could target a potential upgrade early in the draft.

Pick change; previously Denver Kirkland, OT
