  1. San Diego Chargers: Jason Spriggs, OT, Indiana
The Chargers couldn’t get Laremy Tunsil in the first round, so they’ll have to add a blocker at this juncture. Philip Rivers’ pass protection has been a mess this year, and it could be worse going forward with Joseph Barksdale bound to hit free agency. Meanwhile, blind-side protector King Dunlap hasn’t been able to stay in the lineup, thanks to numerous injuries. San Diego absolutely has to do something about its horrendous blocking.

    Follow @walterfootball for updates.

  2. Cleveland Browns: Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State
The Browns have to use an early-round pick on a receiver eventually, right? They can’t keep going with retreads.

  3. Tennessee Titans: Josh Doctson, WR, TCU
The Titans found help for their ailing secondary. Now, they need to build around Marcus Mariota by finding another play-maker for him. Justin Hunter has been a huge disappointment, while Kendall Wright will be a free agent after the 2016 season.

  4. San Francisco 49ers: Corey Coleman, WR, Baylor
Teams that spend their first-round picks on quarterbacks often like to add a weapon or a blocker to help that new signal-caller. The 49ers are devoid of receiving talent, so here’s something to help change that.

Pick change; previously William Jackson, CB

  5. Detroit Lions: Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama
The Lions have a disappointing stable of running backs, including Ameer Abdullah, who is not an every-down player. We’ve seen teams spend consecutive second-round picks on running backs before (most recently, the Bengals), so Detroit could definitely consider Derrick Henry at this juncture.

  6. Dallas Cowboys: Carson Wentz, QB, North Dakota State
Jerry Jones has said many stupid things recently, but he was right on the money when he stated that his team had to find a quality backup quarterback this offseason. Dallas has nothing behind Tony Romo, and it wouldn’t hurt to grab a future replacement for him either.

Per Charlie Campbell, Carson Wentz is drawing first-round consideration, so the Cowboys are getting a steal here.

Pick change; previously Alex Collins, RB

  7. Baltimore Ravens: Tyler Boyd, WR, Pittsburgh
Steve Smith announced that this will be his final season, so the Ravens will need a new starting receiver to go along with Breshad Perriman. Smith may decide to try to return from his torn Achilles, but either way, Baltimore can’t count on him being there in 2016. Tyler Boyd has some off-the-field concerns, but Baltimore won’t care about those.

  8. Miami Dolphins: William Jackson, CB, Houston
Miami’s secondary is a mess, as everyone took note in the Monday night loss to the Giants. The front office will have to find help at both cornerback and safety, so here’s the best-available player from either position.

Pick change; previously Darian Thompson, S

  9. New Orleans Saints: Jonathan Bullard, DE, Florida
The Saints can continue to upgrade their horrible defensive line, as they really don’t have any edge rushers of note after Cameron Jordan. In a division comprised of Cam Newton, Matt Ryan and Jameis Winston, New Orleans will have toimprove its ability to get to the quarterback.

Pick change; previously Carl Nassib, DE/OLB

  10. St. Louis Rams: Su’a Cravens, S/LB, USC
The Rams will have some contract issues at safety next offseason, with Rodney McLeod and Mark Barron both set to hit the market. Su’a Cravens is a steal this late.

Pick change; previously Corey Coleman, WR

  11. Chicago Bears: Shilique Calhoun, DE/OLB, Michigan State
The Bears need to bolster their defense. Willie Young hasn’t transitioned well into the 3-4, so like Jared Allen, he could be traded at some point. Chicago has to find a solid pass-rusher across from Pernell McPhee, and Leonard Floyd is the top prospect available.

  12. Jacksonville Jaguars: Carl Nassib, DE/OLB, Penn State
The Jaguars could add an edge rusher or two, as Chris Clemons has completely fallen off.

Pick change; previously Su’a Cravens, S/LB

  13. Atlanta Falcons: Kendell Beckwith, LB, LSU
I don’t trust these Atlanta linebackers, outside of Brooks Reed, so the Falcons could opt to strengthen this group during the offseason.

  14. Oakland Raiders: Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
The Raiders need to continue making upgrades to their defense. Their secondary in particular is pretty brutal, so multiple selections in the first three rounds can be used to potentially fix this problem.

  15. New York Giants: Jerald Hawkins, OT, LSU
The Giants spent an early pick last year on an offensive tackle, and they may do the same this offseason. New York may move on from the injury-prone Will Beatty, who has a cap of hit of more than $9 million next season.

  16. Houston Texans: Christian Hackenberg, QB, Penn State
Teams expect Christian Hackenberg to be chosen in the latter half of the second round. I’m sure the Texans would take a chance on him, given that Bill O’Brien got the most out of him when he was at Penn State.

  17. St. Louis Rams: Austin Johnson, DT, Penn State
The Rams signed Nick Fairley this past offseason, but Fairley will be a free agent again in March. If the front office doesn’t retain him, a second-day choice could be used on depth.

  18. Buffalo Bills: Denver Kirkland, G/OT, Arkansas
The Bills have a couple of disappointing young linemen in guard John Miller and right tackle Cyrus Kouandjio. Both have struggled mightily thus far, so grabbing someone like Denver Kirkland, who can play both guard and right tackle, makes a lot of sense.

Pick change; previously Vernon Butler, DT

  19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Desmond King, CB, Iowa
The Buccaneers might have the weakest group of cornerbacks in the NFL. Alterraun Verner has been an abomination this season, while Johnthan Banks has only been marginally better, but only by default. This is an area that absolutely must be addressed this offseason.

Pick change; previously Will Redmond, CB

  20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Darian Thompson, S, Boise State
The Steelers are going to have a hole at one of the safety spots next year. Michael Mitchell has played well, but Will Allen is a 34-year-old impending free agent. Shamarko Thomas can’t get on the field, so I’m not sure he’ll be in Pittsburgh’s future plans if the team can obtain a talented safety early in the 2016 NFL Draft.

Pick change; previously Vonn Bell, S

  21. Indianapolis Colts: Ryan Kelly, C, Alabama
Here’s more help for the interior of Indianapolis’ offensive line. It’s imperative that they upgrade Andrew Luck’s protection.

Pick change; previously Zack Sanchez, CB

  22. Washington Redskins: Nick Martin, C, Notre Dame
One of the reasons Washington’s running game has been so erratic has been because the team has gotten poor play out of its center. This is the primary position the Redskins need to upgrade up front.

Pick change; previously Jack Allen, C

  23. Minnesota Vikings: Sebastian Tretola, G, Arkansas
T.J. Clemmings might be Minnesota’s left tackle of the future, but the front office will have to look for a long-term left guard as well.

  24. New York Jets: Jordan Jenkins, DE/OLB, Georgia
Here’s a linebacker for the Jets, one who can rush the quarterback from the exterior, which is something New York has had issues with in the past few years.

  25. Seattle Seahawks: Shawn Oakman, DE/DT, Baylor
No one should’ve been surprised that Shawn Oakman returned to school, given that he was widely viewed as a second-day project. In fact, one general manager has him as a fifth- to seventh-rounder. Oakman has loads of potential and athleticism, however, so if he can actually learn how to play football, he could sneak into the first round.

  26. Kansas City Chiefs: Kentrell Brothers, LB, Missouri
Derrick Johnson’s return to the lineup has been huge for Kansas City’s defense, but the team has a weakness right next to Johnson. Also, it needs to be considered that Johnson just turned 33, so he doesn’t have many dominant years left.

Pick change; previously Jacoby Brissett, QB

  27. Green Bay Packers: Yannick Ngakoue, DE/OLB, Maryland
Even if the Packers move Clay Matthews back outside, they’ll still need some pass-rushing depth, as Julius Peppers won’t be around much longer.

Pick change; previously Anthony Zettel, DE/DT

  28. Cincinnati Bengals: Darron Lee, OLB, Ohio State
The Bengals have some issues at linebacker. Vontaze Burfict’s health is a concern. Vincent Rey is an impending free agent. A.J. Hawk doesn’t have much left in the tank. An early-round pick could be used on some help at the position.

  29. Denver Broncos: Hunter Henry, TE, Arkansas
Owen Daniels has been a failure thus far – save for his inexplicable performance at Indianapolis – prompting John Elway to trade for Vernon Davis. The problem is, Davis hasn’t played well for two years now, and he spent his time dropping passes in a loss to Oakland. The Broncos could use a better tight end to properly replace Julius Thomas.

  30. Arizona Cardinals: Noah Spence, DE, Eastern Kentucky
The Cardinals have lacked a potent edge rusher for quite a while, so here’s their chance to upgrade the position. Noah Spence would be a first-round prospect if it wasn’t for his off-the-field issues. Arizona could take a chance on him, given how well the Tyrann Mathieu pick worked out.

  31. New England Patriots: Bronson Kaufusi, DE, BYU
The Patriots rush the passer well right now, but two of their top three edge defenders, Jabaal Sheard and Rob Ninkovich, will be free agents in March 2017. Here’s a pass-rusher who could start in his second season if both players move on.

Pick change; previously Jonathan Bullard, DE

  32. Carolina Panthers: Vernon Butler, DT, Louisiana Tech
The Panthers could use some interior defensive line depth, especially with some contracts expiring soon.

Pick change; previously Maliek Collins, DT
