  1. Jacksonville Jaguars: Zachary Carter, DT, Florida
The Jaguars are still searching for a replacement for Calais Campbell.

Zachary Carter has the quickness and athleticism to perhaps sneak into the first round.

  2. Houston Texans: Charlie Kolar, TE, Iowa State
The Texans could stand to add more production to their tight ends.

Charlie Kolar is a quality route runner who has nice hands.

  3. Houston Texans: Joshua Ezeudu, OT, North Carolina
The Texans will have to bolster their offensive line a bit to give Davis Mills a chance to succeed.

  4. Seattle Seahawks: Troy Andersen, LB, Montana State
The Seahawks lost Bobby Wagner in free agency this offseason, so they’ll need a new linebacker.

Troy Andersen has terrific athleticism and was one of the winners at the combine.

  5. Baltimore Ravens: Kyren Williams, RB, Notre Dame
The Ravens sorely lacked depth behind J.K. Dobbins last year. Dobbins may not be 100 percent entering 2022.

  6. New York Jets: Brandon Smith, LB, Penn State
The Jets could double up on linebackers, given their issues at the position.

Brandon Smith is a very athletic linebacker with tremendous upside.

  7. New York Giants: Marquis Hayes, G, Oklahoma
The Giants are expected to obtain two offensive linemen in the first half of the 2022 NFL Draft.

  8. Washington Redskins: Jayln Armour-Davis, CB, Alabama
I would expect the Redskins to double up at cornerback, given their issues at the position.

Jayln Armour-Davis is a 6-1 cornerback with a good skill set.

  9. Atlanta Falcons: Kevin Austin Jr., WR, Notre Dame
A third receiver is possible with Calvin Ridley suspended for the year and Russell Gage gone.

Kevin Austin ran an impressive combine 40 despite his large frame.

  10. Denver Broncos: Bubba Bolden, S, Miami
The Broncos may lose Kareem Jackson in the near future, so here’s a potential replacement.

  11. Denver Broncos: Jaylen Watson, CB, Washington State
The Broncos can’t rely on Ronald Darby, so they’ll need a new cornerback across from Patrick Surtain.

  12. New York Jets: Dominique Robinson, DE, Miami of Ohio
To quote Play Like a Jet’s Scott Mason, “Jet fans may revolt if the team doesn’t draft an edge rusher.” They could draft two of them.

  13. Houston Texans: Zamir White, RB, Georgia
The Texans could spend multiple picks on running backs to create an entirely new backfield.

Zamir White has been an impressive back in Georgia’s committee this year.

  14. Baltimore Ravens: Terrel Bernard, LB, Baylor
The Ravens had an issue defending the middle of the field last season, so some linebacker help is needed.

Terrel Bernard has three-down starting potential for the NFL.

  15. New Orleans Saints: Darrian Beavers, LB, Cincinnati
The Saints will be looking to bolster their thin linebacking corps in the middle of the draft.

  16. Kansas City Chiefs: Brian Asamoah, LB, Oklahoma
The Chiefs always seem to have a weak linebacking corps, so they’ll need to address that at some point.

  17. Indianapolis Colts: Isaiah Likely, TE, Coastal Carolina
Jack Doyle retired, so the Colts may want to acquire another tight end.

Isaiah Likely has nice upside as a great athlete who runs routes well.

  18. Los Angeles Chargers: John Ridgeway, DT, Alabama
The Chargers need to get stronger in the interior, as they allowed Rex Burkhead to look like Earl Campbell.

John Ridgeway has a nice combination of size and speed.

  19. Philadelphia Eagles: Tyler Badie, RB, Missouri
The Eagles always seem to be in favor of drafting a running back at some point. I expect them to do so once again.

Tyler Badie is a small back, but he has positive strength and quickness.

  20. Miami Dolphins: Zakoby McClain, LB, Auburn
The Dolphins brought in more linebackers than any other position for top-30 visits leading up to the 2022 NFL Draft.

Zakoby McClain is a tackling machine who needs to improve his pass coverage.

  21. Las Vegas Raiders: Spencer Burford, OT, Texas-San Antonio
The Raiders could target another offensive lineman to really bolster their blocking.

  22. New England Patriots: LaBryan Ray, DT, Alabama
The Patriots could stand to add some players who can get pressure on the talented quarterbacks in the conference.

LaBryan Ray flashed a bit alongside Quinnen Williams and now has a larger role on Alabama.

  23. Baltimore Ravens: Kalon Barnes, CB, Baylor
Cornerback was a big problem area for the Ravens last year, so it’ll have to be addressed at some point.

  24. Dallas Cowboys: Max Mitchell, OT, Louisiana-Lafayette
The Cowboys replaced Connor Williams earlier. Here’s someone to take La’el Collins’ spot.

Max Mitchell seems like a solid right tackle prospect for the NFL.

  25. Buffalo Bills: Jalen Wydermyer, TE, Texas A&M
The Bills will be looking for a tight end to pair with Dawson Knox at some point in the Round 3-5 range.

Jalen Wydermyer had a big sophomore campaign. He’s a big tight end (6-5, 260) and has terrific receiving ability.

  26. Tennessee Titans: Cade Otton, TE, Washington
The Titans have needed tight end help for quite some time.

Cade Otton missed a bunch of action in 2021 with injuries, but was more productive in 2020.

  27. Green Bay Packers: Jeremy Ruckert, TE, Ohio State
The Packers need another offensive weapon, this time at tight end as an upgrade over Robert Tonyan.

  28. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Tyler Allgeier, RB, BYU
Ronald Jones is gone, so the Buccaneers could stand to add another running back.

Tyler Allgeier is new to the position as a former linebacker, but he is an impressive runner who has shown an ability to catch the ball well.

  29. San Francisco 49ers: Tariq Castro-Fields, CB, Penn State
The 49ers could target a cornerback much earlier than this, given their problems at the position.

Tariq Castro-Fields has drawn comparisons to Marlon Humphrey. He has great ball skills and happens to be very fast. There are injury issues, however.

  30. Kansas City Chiefs: Zyon McCollum, CB, Sam Houston State
As noted earlier, the Chiefs lost Charvarius Ward in free agency, so they’ll have to find a new cornerback, or perhaps two.

Zyon McCollum has impressive size and length.

  31. Cincinnati Bengals: Bryan Cook, S, Cincinnati
The Bengals could stand to add another defensive back to disrupt all the talented quarterbacks in the conference.

  32. Carolina Panthers: Matt Corral, QB, Ole Miss
Let me put this in caps because I’ll get e-mails about it otherwise: I DO NOT BELIEVE MATT CORRAL WILL FALL TO THE FOURTH ROUND. There’s speculation that Carolina likes Corral, so I believe it’ll trade this selection, as well as a second-round pick next year, to move into this year’s second round to draft him.

Corral developed well under Lane Kiffin, completing 71 percent of his passes in 2020.

  33. Pittsburgh Steelers: James Skalski, LB, Clemson
The Steelers will be looking to bolster the middle of their defense in an effort to improve their ability to stop the run.

James Skalski is a solid player, but could use a nice combine to show teams that he has greater upside.

  34. Baltimore Ravens: Myjai Sanders, DE, Cincinnati
The Ravens will need a better edge rush to keep them from blitzing so often.

Myjai Sanders saw a decline in sacks last year, but was better than his numbers indicated.

  35. Green Bay Packers: Chasen Hines, G, LSU
In addition to adding more receivers, the Packers will need to spend some draft capital to improve Aaron Rodgers’ blocking.

Chasen Hines is a massive interior lineman who needs to work on pass protection.

  36. Baltimore Ravens: Nick Zakelj, OT, Fordham
The Ravens are expected to select at least two offensive linemen to aid Lamar Jackson.

  37. Los Angeles Rams: Grant Morgan, LB, Arkansas
The Rams don’t have the deepest linebacking corps, so they could address that area with this pick.

Grant Morgan is a mediocre athlete but has great instincts.

  38. Tennessee Titans: Carson Strong, QB, Nevada
The Titans have been digging into mid-round quarterbacks in an attempt to find a potential successor for Ryan Tannehill.

Carson Strong completed 70 percent of his passes in 2020, all while maintaining a 27:4 touchdown-to-interception ratio. Strong has decent arm talent and could emerge as a first-round pick.
