The order of this 2021 NFL Mock Draft is based on my NFL Power Rankings, adjusting for playoff seeding in the 19-32 range.

  1. Arizona Cardinals: Israel Mukuamu, CB, South Carolina
    The Cardinals have needed a No. 2 cornerback across from Patrick Peterson for quite some time. They may need a replacement soon because Peterson’s contract expires soon.

    Israel Mukuamu is a big cornerback (6-4, 205) who enjoyed a breakout sophomore campaign.

  2. Dallas Cowboys: Shaun Wade, CB, Ohio State
    The Cowboys drafted Trevon Diggs, but they still need another cornerback.

    Shaun Wade has a ton of upside and was able to produce well in the slot in 2019. He’s expected to move outside this year.

  3. Cleveland Browns: Joe Tryon, DE, Washington
    The Browns may lose Olivier Vernon soon, so they’ll need to find another edge rusher to complement Myles Garrett.

    Joe Tryon came out of nowhere to have a breakout 2019 campaign. He has a nice frame (6-5, 262) and tons of upside to be an impactful edge rusher in the NFL.

  4. New York Giants: Josh Jobe, CB, Alabama
    The Giants’ issues in their secondary have been well documented. They need another upgrade at cornerback beyond James Bradberry.

    Josh Jobe is a big, athletic cornerback with tremendous upside.

  5. Minnesota Vikings: Marvin Wilson, DT, Florida State
    The Vikings have needed a starting defensive tackle next to Linval Joseph for quite some time. Now, they need a starter next to Michael Pierce.

    Marvin Wilson has outstanding size (6-5, 311) and athleticism, and he is capable of putting consistent pressure on the quarterback.

  6. Denver Broncos: Cade Mays, OT, Tennessee
    Garett Bolles can’t stop committing penalties, so the Broncos may consider adding a new blind-side protector soon.

    Cade Mays was a five-star recruit, and he has the potential to be an elite left tackle.

  7. Philadelphia Eagles: Creed Humphrey, C, Oklahoma
    The Eagles were linked to Cesar Ruiz. They need a guard now, and they’ll need to replace Jason Kelce when he retires. If they can’t get Ruiz in the second round, perhaps they’ll be interested in a different center in the 2021 NFL Draft.

    Creed Humphrey has been impressive in the middle of Oklahoma’s offensive line thus far.



  8. Pittsburgh Steelers: Kellen Mond, QB, Texas A&M
    Mason Rudolph has shown no signs that he can be the Steelers’ long-term quarterback.

    Kellen Mond has been inconsistent throughout his Texas A&M career, but he has shown improvement in accuracy.

  9. Seattle Seahawks: Trey Smith, OT/G, Tennessee
    Will the Seahawks finally add to their offensive line? Probably not, but Russell Wilson can hope, can’t he?

    Despite being a freshman, Trey Smith was arguably Tennessee’s best player in 2017. He was considered a top prospect coming out of high school. He’s drawn rave reviews from scouts and would be a top-five pick if he didn’t have health concerns.

  10. Buffalo Bills: Deonte Brown, G, Alabama
    The Bills struggled when battling tough pass rushes last year, so they’ll need to improve their offensive line.

    Deonte Brown’s strength is blasting open huge holes for his running backs, but he’s also a solid pass protector.

  11. Indianapolis Colts: Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford
    The Colts’ greatest weakness is at cornerback, so they’ll have to address that position soon.

    Paulson Adebo has great size, coverage skills and play-making ability. He struggled a bit in 2019, but could rebound next year.

  12. San Francisco 49ers: Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State
    Linebacker is the weakness of the 49ers’ terrific defense if Kwon Alexander can’t stay healthy, so that could be addressed soon.

    Looking like the next great linebacker to come out of Penn State, Micah Parsons has been very productive. That’s not a surprise, as Parsons was a highly athletic five-star recruit.

  13. Baltimore Ravens: Seth Williams, WR, Auburn
    Lamar Jackson is being blamed for the latest playoff loss, but his receivers really let him down.

    Seth Williams (6-3, 224) has come out of nowhere to have a huge 2019 campaign.

  14. New Orleans Saints: Andre Cisco, S, Syracuse
    The Saints need to continue to improve their secondary, as their pass defense was a weakness in 2019.

    Andre Cisco has a chance to sneak into the first round when he declares, as he’s been a very productive player.

  15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Najee Harris, RB, Alabama
    The Buccaneers waited until the third round of the 2020 NFL Draft to find a running back. If Ke’Shawn Vaughn doesn’t pan out, Tampa Bay may use this selection to upgrade the backfield.

    Najee Harris was one of the top recruits in the country in 2017, and he showed off his talents as a freshman. He’s been tremendous again this past season.



  16. Kansas City Chiefs: Jay Tufele, DT, USC
    The Chiefs could add someone to help provide more interior disruption.

    Jay Tufele is an extremely athletic and agile 310-pound defensive tackle who could be chosen in the top half of the draft, whenever he declares.
