  1. Dallas Cowboys: Grant Delpit, S, LSU
The Cowboys tried to land Earl Thomas last offseason, but they haven’t been able to upgrade their hole at safety. Perhaps they’ll do that with this pick.

Grant Delpit is an exceptional talent who was once considered a top-10 lock, but has struggled a bit in 2019.

Also, if you’d like to support the site, check out my book! It’s available on Amazon, and it’s called A Safety and a Field Goal.

    Take a look:

A Safety and a Field Goal

You can buy it here. It has some NFL Draft-related topics, so like I said, if you want to support the site, this is a great way to do it!

  2. Miami Dolphins: D’Andre Swift, RB, Georgia
The Dolphins need to add tons of talent around their new quarterback to give him a fighting chance. They have so many holes on offense that almost every position makes sense. D’Andre Swift might be the best offensive player on the board.

D’Andre Swift lives up to his name concerning that attribute, but vision is his best strength.

  3. Las Vegas Raiders: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma
The Raiders wanted to have Antonio Brown as their top receiver in 2019, but their plans went awry. Here’s a new No. 1 receiver to replace him.

CeeDee Lamb is a terrific route runner with great hands. He’s been amazing this year and is now the No. 2 receiver on my board.

Pick change; previously Isaiah Simmons, LB

  4. Jacksonville Jaguars: C.J. Henderson, CB, Florida
Jacksonville’s secondary hasn’t been the same since Jalen Ramsey was traded, so the team will be searching for a replacement this offseason.

C.J. Henderson has good height (6-1), but needs to bulk up. He had four interceptions as a freshman. He has some great potential as a former four-star recruit.

  5. Philadelphia Eagles: Laviska Shenault, WR, Colorado
The Eagles are expected to target a receiver early in the 2020 NFL Draft unless they address the position in free agency. Alshon Jeffery can’t stay healthy, while DeSean Jackson won’t be on the team for very long, so a new No. 1 wideout is needed.

Laviska Shenault drew rave reviews during spring practices preceding the 2018 campaign, and he didn’t disappoint. The 6-foot-2 play-maker was college football’s best receiver as a mere sophomore (at least prior to his injury.)

  6. Buffalo Bills: Jalen Reagor, WR, TCU
John Brown has been excellent, and Cole Beasley is solid, but the Bills have nothing else at the position. They could opt to take one of several receivers projected to go in the opening round this April. Jalen Reagor is a blazing-fast receiver who can go the distance whenever he touches the ball.

  7. New England Patriots: Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia
There’s a chance Tom Brady won’t be on the Patriots next year. Crazy, but true. Either way, the Patriots need to begin searching for a young quarterback to replace Brady, either in 2020 or shortly later.

Jake Fromm was tremendous as a freshman for SEC champion Georgia. He struggled a bit in 2019, but he could still be a first-round pick, though it’s more likely that New England could obtain him in the second frame after trading down. Fromm seems like the sort of quarterback Bill Belichick would love to coach.

  8. New Orleans Saints: Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU
The Saints sorely lack talent at receiver outside of Michael Thomas. It would be a mistake to go into 2020 with Ted Ginn or Tre’Quan Smith as the No. 2 wideout.

Justin Jefferson is tall (6-3, 192), long and athletic. He was dominant throughout 2019, particularly the playoff victory over Oklahoma.

  9. Minnesota Vikings: Justin Madubuike, DT, Texas A&M
Linval Joseph is still a dominant presence in the interior, but he’ll turn 32 next season. He’ll decline soon, and the Vikings could use some help next to him in the meantime.

Justin Madubuike was a disruptive force in the interior of the Aggies’ defensive line this past season, logging 11.5 TFLs and 5.5 sacks.

  10. Miami Dolphins: Austin Jackson, OT, USC
The Dolphins addressed their offense with their first two selections. Here’s a third pick for the offense, as the blocking desperately needs to be upgraded.

Austin Jackson is a terrific athlete with quick feet and superb agility.

  11. Seattle Seahawks: Shane Lemieux, G, Oregon
Will this finally be the year the Seahawks fix their offensive line so that Russell Wilson can be appropriately protected?

Charlie Campbell has reported in the NFL Hot Press that Shane Lemieux has impressed evaluators enough that he could end up being chosen in the first round.

  12. Baltimore Ravens: Yetur Gross-Matos, DE, Penn State
The Ravens selected Marquise Brown in the opening round of the 2019 NFL Draft, but I get the sense that they were hoping Clelin Ferrell would fall to them. They need to find replacements for Terrell Suggs and Za’Darius Smith.

Yetur Gross-Matos registered a ridiculous 20 tackles for loss in 2018. His potential is off the charts.

Pick change; previously A.J. Epenesa, DE/OLB

  13. Tennessee Titans: A.J. Epenesa, DE/OLB, Iowa
The Titans signed Cameron Wake as a short-term stop gap on the edge. He was playing very well for a while, but he suffered a season-ending injury. Tennessee will need a long-term replacement.

Pick change; previously K’Lavon Chaisson, DE

  14. Green Bay Packers: Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson
The Packers are devoid of talent at receiver, save for Davante Adams. They desperately need to give Aaron Rodgers one more downfield threat.

Tee Higgins is a matchup nightmare receiver with his incredible size (6-4, 200).

Pick change; previously Gabriel Davis, WR

  15. San Francisco 49ers: Noah Igbinoghene, CB, Auburn
The 49ers have an excellent secondary, but Richard Sherman is entering his mid-30s, so a long-term solution at the position could be acquired.

Noah Igbinoghene is a raw cornerback, as he’s transitioning from receiver. However, team sources told Charlie that Igbinoghene impressed them during the season, so perhaps he can jump into the first round with a strong combine.

  16. Kansas City Chiefs: Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma
The Chiefs have endured problems at linebacker for quite some time. It’s been bleak since Derrick Johnson’s retirement, so that needs to change to help ensure a Super Bowl repeat.

Kenneth Murray was co-Defensive Freshman of the Year in the Big XII, thriving in coverage for the Sooners. He broke an Oklahoma record for tackles in a game with 28. Murray has excellent instincts and has great speed and athleticism for coverage.
