  1. Carolina Panthers: Deionte Thompson, S, Alabama
    The Panthers are in dire need of help in their secondary. Whether it’s cornerback or safety, they need to take the best player available at one of those two positions.

    Deionte Thompson has a great blend of size (6-2, 196), speed and athleticism. He’s been very productive replacing Minkah Fitzpatrick.

  2. Tennessee Titans: Greedy Williams, CB, LSU
    The Titans should look to improve their ailing secondary. Malcolm Butler has been atrocious this season. Both he and Logan Ryan are due at least $9.5 million each next season, which seems absurd.

    Greedy Williams had a spectacular freshman season with six interceptions. Williams has great size (6-2, 182) and quickness, and he has top-10 upside.

  3. Denver Broncos: Zach Allen, DE/DT, Boston College
    The Broncos could address their defensive front seven again if they get this sort of value, especially after surrendering 300 rushing yards to the Jets. Derek Wolfe’s health is always a concern, while Adam Gotsis has off-the-field concerns.

    Zach Allen needs to develop more pass-rushing moves, but he has a nice combination of size and strength, and he happens to be a stout run defender and a quality pass-rusher.



  4. Philadelphia Eagles: Cody Ford, G, Oklahoma
    One of the many reasons the Eagles won the Super Bowl was their tremendous blocking. That hasn’t been there this year. Part of the reason is the injuries that Jason Peters and Lane Johnson suffered, but there’s been a big void at left guard as well that can be filled with this pick.

    Cody Ford is a 335-pound right tackle at Oklahoma who should move to guard at the next level. He has very good athleticism for his massive frame.

  5. Minnesota Vikings: Mack Wilson, LB, Alabama
    The Vikings have some great defensive players, but they have a major weakness, which is their inability to cover in space. Their linebacking corps needs an injection of talent.

    Mack Wilson has good coverage skills, so he’ll generate interest from teams in the second half of Round 1.



  6. Oakland Raiders: Clelin Ferrell, DE, Clemson
    The Raiders get their replacement for Khalil Mack, as they’ve been able to bolster their defensive line with their first two selections.

    Clelin Ferrell has elite athleticism, and he could’ve been a top-15, or even a top-10 pick in the 2018 NFL Draft had he declared (perhaps No. 6 overall to the Colts.) Charlie Campbell has reported in the NFL Hot Press that teams aren’t as high on Ferrell this year, but he should still be taken in the 15-25 range.

  7. Baltimore Ravens: Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama
    The Ravens have a great group of cornerbacks, but Jimmy Smith and Brandon Carr will turn 31 and 33 this offseason, respectively. Also, Smith, who is not having a good year, will be entering his contract season while being owed close to $10 million.

    Trevon Diggs, younger brother of Vikings receiver Stefon Diggs, began as a receiver at Alabama, but was tremendous this season at cornerback before suffering a foot injury.



  8. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jachai Polite, DE/OLB, Florida
    Bud Dupree hasn’t lived up to his first-round billing, so 2019 could be his final year in Pittsburgh. If the Steelers agree, they could target a dynamic edge rusher early in the 2019 NFL Draft.

    Jachai Polite has a ton of upside. He didn’t do much in 2016, but he has a couple of sacks through half the season. He’s been having a strong 2018 campaign, including the LSU victory where he drew lots of double teams.

  9. Seattle Seahawks: Christian Wilkins, DT, Clemson
    The Seahawks’ defense has regressed this year. Everyone points to the Legion of Boom, but Seattle also lost several starters on the defensive line.

    Christian Wilkins has superior speed and athleticism as an interior disruptor.

  10. Oakland Raiders: A.J. Brown, WR, Ole Miss
    The Raiders used their first two selections on defense. It’s time to turn toward the offense now and fix that mess. Oakland has no viable No. 1 receiver, or viable Nos. 2 and 3 receivers, for that matter. Their top player at the position now is Marcell Ateman, which is just embarrassing.

    A.J. Brown has a tremendous athleticism, and he was a great weapon for Ole Miss last year. He could be a top-20 pick, so this is tremendous value.

  11. Houston Texans: Greg Little, OT, Ole Miss
    The Texans would be crazy if they passed on an opportunity to upgrade their atrocious offensive line. They’ve gotten Deshaun Watson so banged up that he can fly on airplanes.

    Greg “Mr. Reliable” Little was a five-star recruit coming out of high school. He’s an athletic left tackle who could become a top-10 pick.

  12. Los Angeles Chargers: Dre’Mont Jones, DT, Ohio State
    The Chargers looked soft up the middle against the Rams, as they struggled to stop Todd Gurley and apply pressure on Jared Goff. They’ve needed help at defensive tackle for some time.

    Dre’Mont Jones has a first-round skill set, according to sources Charlie Campbell reached out to.

  13. New England Patriots: Irv Smith Jr., TE, Alabama
    The Patriots tried to trade Rob Gronkowski last offseason, and now we see why. Gronkowski is a shell of his former self, so here’s a replacement.

    Irv Smith Jr. is a dangerous threat after the catch, and he has good route-running skills and nice hands.

  14. Green Bay Packers: Parris Campbell, WR, Ohio State
    The Packers need defense, but they already spent their initial first-round pick on that side of the ball. Aaron Rodgers also needs more reliable play-makers, as the offense hasn’t been the same this year, thanks in part to Jordy Nelson’s departure.

    Parris Campbell has big-play ability, but didn’t live up to it statistically in the past because of some poor passing. That has changed recently, as Campbell dominated Michigan in the regular-season finale. There’s a decent chance he’s the first receiver drafted.

  15. Kansas City Chiefs: Trayvon Mullen, CB, Clemson
    The Chiefs need to replace Marcus Peters at some point, and they could do it with three picks in the first two rounds of the 2018 NFL Draft.

    Trayvon Mullen is a 6-foot-2 corner who was highly recruited and could be a mid-first-round pick with a strong 2018 campaign.



  16. Los Angeles Rams: Montez Sweat, DE/OLB, Mississippi State
    The Rams traded for Dante Fowler, but they still could use another dynamic edge rusher to complement their great defensive line.

    Montez Sweat registered 10.5 sacks in his first season, and he has major potential. He has a big frame and could stand to pack on 20 pounds of muscle, so the potential is there.
