  1. Oakland Raiders: Brett Rypien, QB, Boise State
There have been rumors about the Raider players being unhappy about Derek Carr. As an NFL Hall of Fame running back once said, “Where there’s smoke, there’s mirrors.” Here’s a new quarterback Jon Gruden can develop.

  2. San Francisco 49ers: Michael Jordan, G/C, Ohio State
The 49ers are having major issues in the interior of their offensive line this season, so this is an area they’ll have to bolster next spring.

Michael Jordan can play both center and guard, so his versatility will make him appealing on Draft Day.

  3. Arizona Cardinals: Austin Bryant, DE, Clemson
The Cardinals need to add another edge rusher to give them a dynamic threat across from Chandler Jones.

Austin Bryant played his way into first-round consideration last year, and he has a chance to improve his stock even further with a strong 2018 campaign.

  4. Jacksonville Jaguars: Marcus Norman, OT, South Florida
Blocking is a problem right now for Jacksonville, so the front office will need to strengthen its offensive line for its new quarterback.

Marcus Norman is having a great 2018 season, as scouts have been impressed with his length and athleticism.

  5. New York Jets: Kendall Willekes, DE/OLB, Michigan State
Some Jet fan e-mailers were furious that their team didn’t add an edge rusher in the previous draft. My response was that this was more than just a short rebuilding process, and I’m sure general manager Mike Maccagnan was well aware that the 2019 NFL Draft will be loaded with edge rushers.

Kendall Willekes has been a terror off the edge this year. He can probably play in both the 4-3 and 3-4, but seems more suited for the latter.

Pick change; previously Chase Winovich, DE/OLB

  6. Buffalo Bills: Deebo Samuel, WR, South Carolina
In addition to upgrading their offensive line, the Bills must obtain some play-makers for Josh Allen, as he doesn’t possess any aside from LeSean McCoy.

Deebo Samuel barely played last year because of a fractured fibula, but he’s a second-round prospect who could sneak into the opening frame with a strong finish to his 2018 campaign.

  7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Marlon Davidson, DE, Auburn
Jason Pierre-Paul and Vinny Curry were signed this offseason, but neither is a long-term solution for the Buccaneers. Some youth at defensive end is needed.

Marlon Davidson wasn’t a huge contributor for Auburn as a freshman, but he thrived this previous season.

  8. Atlanta Falcons: Isaiah Buggs, NT, Alabama
Here’s yet another defensive lineman for the Falcons, who could stand to double up on interior players.

Isaiah Buggs has been a big-time run-stuffing nose tackle for Alabama since joining the team from the JUCO ranks.

  9. New England Patriots: Gerald Willis, DT, Miami
It’s evident that the Patriots need upgrades all over their defense after blowing a 24-9 lead against Kansas City. They lack an interior pass rush, so that’s something they can focus on improving next offseason.

Gerald Willis is having a great senior season. He’s had off-the-field issues, so hopefully those are behind him. He’s the younger brother of Landon Collins.

  10. Green Bay Packers: Connor McGovern, G/C, Penn State
The Packers could stand to improve their interior protection in an attempt to keep Aaron Rodgers healthy for once.

Connor McGovern projects as one of the better guards in the 2019 NFL Draft. He’s been great for Penn State, paving the way for Saquon Barkley last year.

  11. Cleveland Browns: Devin Bush, LB, Michigan
The Browns need better linebacker play to complement Joe Schobert. They seemed to have that leading up to the season before Mychal Kendricks was popped for insider trading.

  12. Denver Broncos: Emanuel Hall, WR, Missouri
Demaryius Thomas was just traded, and Emmanuel Sanders may not be too far behind him. The Broncos will need another receiver to complement Courtland Sutton.

Emanuel Hall is a 6-1 receiver with tremendous speed. His hands and motivation are an issue, but he has first-round talent.

  13. Detroit Lions: Blace Brown, CB, Troy
The Lions have glaring issues in their secondary, as they need help at cornerback across from Darius Slay.

Pick change; previously Kendall Willekes, DE/OLB

  14. Cincinnati Bengals: T.J. Edwards, LB, Wisconsin
The Bengals have had issues defending the middle of the field whenever Vontaze Burfict or Nick Vigil have been missing. They may want to add another linebacker.

  15. Miami Dolphins: Bennie Snell Jr., RB, Kentucky
The Dolphins don’t seem to trust Kenyan Drake, so they may want to spend an early pick on a running back.

Bennie Snell Jr. averaged nearly six yards per carry in 2016, and now he’s the feature back with Boom Williams gone. He’s a tough runner who could sneak into the first round.

  16. Tennessee Titans: Garrett Bradberry, C, N.C. State
The Titans have two stellar tackles, but they could stand to beef up the interior of their offensive line so Marcus Mariota isn’t sacked 11 times in a game again.

Garrett Bradberry is an athletic center who used to be a former tight end.

  17. Carolina Panthers: Caleb Wilson, TE, UCLA
Greg Olsen is likely to retire soon, so the Panthers will need to find a replacement this offseason.

Serving as Josh Rosen’s favorite target, Caleb Wilson is a talented route-runner who was very productive last season. He needs to improve his blocking.

Pick change; previously Johnathan Abram, S

  18. Indianapolis Colts: Carl Granderson, DE, Wyoming
The Colts added dynamic interior defender to the roster earlier. However, they still will need one more upgrade on the defensive line.

Carl Granderson has impressed scouts, and they believe he has great potential because of his frame.

  19. Seattle Seahawks: Joejuan Williams, CB, Vanderbilt
The Legion of Boom is no more. The Seahawks need another cornerback to create a new version of it.

Joejuan Williams is a big press corner who would fit in a Seattle style of defense.

  20. Baltimore Ravens: Juwan Johnson, WR, Penn State
The Ravens improved their receiving corps this year, but Michael Crabtree is just a temporary solution.

  21. Washington Redskins: Michael Deiter, C, Wisconsin
The Redskins have one of the worst centers in the NFL, so that’s a position they’ll sorely need to upgrade.

Michael Deiter has started at center and guard for Wisconsin. He’s currently the favorite to be the first center chosen in the 2019 NFL Draft.

  22. Dallas Cowboys: Jared Pinkney, TE, Vanderbilt
The Cowboys miss Jason Witten. They need to find a viable replacement for him to help Dak Prescott.

Pick change; previously Caleb Wilson, TE

  23. Pittsburgh Steelers: Beau Benzschawel, G, Wisconsin
Ramon Foster will be a 33-year-old free agent this spring, so the Steelers will have to think about finding a replacement.

Beau Benzschawel was told to return to school by draft advisory committee, but he has a chance to sneak into second round with a strong senior campaign.

  24. Minnesota Vikings: Isaiah Prince, OT, Ohio State
The Vikings desperately need to bolster their offensive line, which is the weakness of their team.

  25. Los Angeles Chargers: Kendall Sheffield, CB, Ohio State
The Chargers have had some struggles at cornerback this year, so they may want to find someone to challenge for the starting job across from Casey Hayward.

Kendall Sheffield is a talented cornerback, but needs to add more weight to his frame (5-11. 187).

  26. Chicago Bears: Bobby Evans, OT, Oklahoma
This is Chicago’s first pick of the 2019 NFL Draft, so they better make it count! Right tackle Bobby Massie is heading for free agency next March, so a replacement will be needed.

Bobby Evans has the athleticism and quickness to play left tackle in the NFL.

  27. Houston Texans: Oshane Ximines, DE/OLB, Old Dominion
We saw last year that the Texans have very little depth at edge rusher, so this is something they’ll need to address.

Oshane Ximines has been a very productive edge rusher for Old Dominion. Level of competition is an issue, but he can dispel that with a strong showing in the pre-draft all-star games.

  28. Cleveland Browns: Jaylon Ferguson, DE, Louisiana Tech
The Browns should continue to bolster their defensive line, as having as many talented pass rushers as possible will be useful in the AFC North.

  29. Jacksonville Jaguars: Taylor Rapp, S, Washington
Barry Church was one of the Jaguars who was detained for not paying a $46,000 bar tab. I wonder if Jacksonville will move on from him as a result.

Taylor Rapp was part of Washington’s terrific secondary last year, recording four interceptions as a mere freshman.

Pick change; previously Devin Studstill, S

  30. Kansas City Chiefs: Ken Webster, CB, Ole Miss
The Chiefs could stand to double up on cornerbacks in the first three rounds. They’re really hurting at the position, so this is something they should definitely consider.

Pick change; previously Taylor Rapp, S

  31. New York Jets: Trayveon Williams, RB, Texas A&M
The Jets don’t have a potent threat in the backfield, which is something they’ll have to address this upcoming offseason.

Trayveon Williams needs to continue to build strength, but he has explosive ability. He can also catch passes fairly well.

Pick change; previously DaMarkus Lodge, WR
