  1. Buffalo Bills: Isaiah Prince, OT, Ohio State
Buffalo’s offensive line is a train wreck, as upgrades are needed at every position outside of left tackle.

Isaiah Prince has done well at right tackle thus far. He’s dealt with injuries, but could be a first-round pick.

Pick change; previously Levonta Taylor, CB

  2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Andre Dillard, OT, Washington State
Here’s a much-needed upgrade on the offensive line for the Buccaneers, who desperately wanted Quenton Nelson to fall to them.

Pick change; previously Jonah Williams, OT

  3. Miami Dolphins: Michael Deiter, C, Wisconsin
The Dolphins will need to protect their new quarterback, and they’ll have to replace Mike Pouncey.

Michael Deiter has started at center and guard for Wisconsin. He’s currently the favorite to be the first center chosen in the 2019 NFL Draft, though he could declare a year earlier.

  4. Indianapolis Colts: Trayveon Williams, RB, Texas A&M
The Colts have a bunch of sub-par running backs who will share carries. Here’s their chance to secure a true lead back.

Trayveon Williams needs to continue to build strength, but he has explosive ability. He can also catch passes fairly well (19 receptions as a freshman.)

  5. Houston Texans: Damien Harris, RB, Alabama
I could see the Texans targeting an intriguing backfield weapon for Deshaun Watson, especially if D’Onta Foreman struggles off his Achilles tear.

  6. Indianapolis Colts: Damon Arnette, CB, Ohio State
The Colts have an abomination of a secondary that needs to be addressed. Their cornerbacks are particularly putrid and must be upgraded. Damon Arnette struggled early in 2017, but improved as the season progressed. He has nice size (6-0) and speed (4.40), and could end up being a first-round pick.

Pick change; previously Anfernee Jennings, LB

  7. Cleveland Browns: Cameron Smith, LB, USC
Mychal Kendricks was busted for insider trading, so the Browns will need a linebacker who doesn’t pursue Martha Stewart-type ventures.

Pick change; previously Dre’Mont Jones, DT

  8. New York Giants: Marquise Brown, WR, Oklahoma
The Giants have Odell Beckham Jr. and Sterling Shepard, but they could stand to add a third receiver to replace Brandon Marshall.

Marquise Brown is a small receiver (5-11, 162), but he can bolt for the end zone any time he gets his hands on the ball.

  9. Detroit Lions: Zach Allen, DE/DT, Boston College
The Lions were expected to address their defensive line early in the 2018 NFL Draft, but they didn’t do so. Here’s their chance to make amends for that.

Zach Allen needs to develop more pass-rushing moves, but he has a nice combination of size and strength, and he happens to be a stout run defender and a quality pass-rusher.

  10. Arizona Cardinals: Chauncey Gardner, S, Florida
The Cardinals will need to replace Tyrann Mathieu at some point next offseason.

Chauncey Garnder played nickel for the Gators last year, but will take on a larger role in 2017 and beyond. He’s a great athlete and possesses terrific upside as a dynamic safety.

  11. Cincinnati Bengals: Noah Fant, TE, Iowa
It’s unclear how much longer Tyler Eifert will be able to play. Here’s a replacement if he continues to suffer injuries.

Noah Fant is an athletic marvel, notching a 41-inch vertical in spring testing. He needs to improve his blocking, but his receiving ability should allow him to be a first-round pick.

  12. Denver Broncos: Amani Orunwariye, CB, Penn State
The Broncos need to replace Aqib Talib. They were interested in Denzel Ward, but he never got to them.

Amani Orunwariye is a big cornerback (6-1, 203) who possesses some quickness. Long speed is a question mark, but if he shows well at the combine, he could be a first-round pick.

Pick change; previously Ken Webster, CB

  13. Pittsburgh Steelers: Rodney Anderson, RB, Oklahoma
Things are getting ugly with Le’Veon Bell, who may not be on the Steelers’ roster at this time next year. Pittsburgh may have to pursue an alternate solution.

Rodney Anderson missed the early stages of 2017 because of a neck injury, but was dominant after that, displaying a great mix of size and athleticism. Anderson was accused of rape, which is why he disappeared in my 2019 NFL Mock Draft for a while, but the charges were not pursued by the disrict attorney.

Pick change; previously Austin Bryant, DE

  14. Jacksonville Jaguars: Ahmmon Richards, WR, Miami
The Jaguars don’t have much at receiver beyond Dede Westbrook, so they’ll need to give their next quarterback a new weapon to work with.

Ahmmon Richards was highly productive as a freshman, catching 49 passes for 934 yards. He didn’t do much this past year because of a hamstring, but he should have a big 2018 campaign (though he’s not off to a good start.)

Pick change; previously Marlon Davidson, DE

  15. Washington Redskins: Shea Patterson, QB, Michigan
The Redskins traded for Alex Smith, but have no quarterback of the future. Perhaps this is something they’ll address early in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Shea Patterson completed 64 percent of his passes during the 2017 campaign. League contacts have told Charlie Campbell that Patterson compares favorably to Johnny Manziel, but without all of the off-the-field concerns. Patterson, however, really struggled in the opener versus Notre Dame.

Pick change; previously Beau Benzschawel, G

  16. New England Patriots: Michael Jackson, CB, Miami
The Patriots could use Chicago’s pick to find a long-term replacement for Malcolm Butler.

  17. Dallas Cowboys: Deebo Samuel, WR, South Carolina
The Cowboys selected Michael Gallup in the third round in April, but they’ll need another receiver to pair with him.

Deebo Samuel barely played last year because of a fractured fibula, but he’s a second-round prospect.

Pick change; previously Ahmmon Richards, WR

  18. Tennessee Titans: Marlon Davidson, DE, Auburn
The Titans need an edge rusher for the future with Brian Orakpo’s career nearing its end. They drafted Harold Landry, but a third edge rusher in the rotation is needed.

Marlon Davidson wasn’t a huge contributor for Auburn as a freshman, but he thrived this previous season.

Pick change; previously Brian Burns, DE

  19. Atlanta Falcons: Caleb Wilson, TE, UCLA
Austin Hooper has mostly been a disappointment thus far. If he doesn’t make strides in 2018, the Falcons may want to replace him.

Serving as Josh Rosen’s favorite target, Caleb Wilson is a talented route-runner who has been very productive this season. He needs to improve his blocking.

  20. Minnesota Vikings: Tyrie Cleveland, WR, Florida
Laquon Treadwell has been a failure, so the Vikings may decide to use a second-day pick in the near future on a third receiver.

Tyrie Cleveland has been an explosive player for the Gators this year, and he projects as a possible first-round selection in the future.

  21. Philadelphia Eagles: Anfernee Jennings, LB, Alabama
The Eagles have some issues in their linebacking corps. Jordan Hicks has had trouble staying healthy, while Mychal Kendricks signed with the Browns before getting popped for insider trading.

Pick change; previously Cameron Smith, LB

  22. Oakland Raiders: Taylor Rapp, S, Washington
I think the Raiders will regress passing up on Derwin James in the 2018 NFL Draft. Here’s a new safety to provide the help James should have.

Taylor Rapp was part of Washington’s terrific secondary last year, recording four interceptions as a mere freshman.

Pick change; previously Deebo Samuel, WR

  23. Kansas City Chiefs: Collin Johnson, WR, Texas
Sammy Watkins was signed, but if he disappoints like he did with the Rams, he won’t be in Kansas City for very long.

Collin Johnson has great upside and athleticism for someone with his frame (6-6, 212), but caught only 28 passes as a freshman. He’s taken a big step this season with 54 receptions.

  24. San Francisco 49ers: Iman Marshall, CB, USC
The 49ers signed Richard Sherman this offseason, but he’s obviously not a long-term option for them. Here’s someone to eventually replace him.

Iman Marshall was once considered a first-round prospect, but he was torched far too often in 2017.

  25. Kansas City Chiefs: Austin Bryant, DE, Clemson
The Chiefs need a stout edge rusher to play across from Justin Houston. There will be plenty of talented edge players to grab in the 2019 NFL Draft.

Austin Bryant played his way into first-round consideration last year, and he has a chance to improve his stock even further with a strong 2018 campaign.

Pick change; previously Devin Bush, LB

  26. Carolina Panthers: Jake Hanson, C, Oregon
Ryan Kalil said he’s going to retire after this season, so here’s a replacement for him.

  27. Los Angeles Chargers: Clayton Thorson, QB, Northwestern
There was a report saying the Chargers would take their quarterback of the future in the second round of the 2018 NFL Draft. Maybe they were just off by a year.

Clayton Thorson is an underrated prospect because of his supporting cast. He has plus mechanics, and he can make any pass, fitting throws into tight windows. He has a nice arm, and he’s also smart and athletic. He could be a first-round pick in the 2019 NFL Draft if he recovers from the injury he suffered in his postseason exhibition game.

  28. Green Bay Packers: Parris Campbell, WR, Ohio State
The Packers lost Jordy Nelson this offseason, but didn’t really replace him. They’ll have to do so next offseason, especially if Randall Cobb leaves.

Parris Campbell has big-play ability, but hasn’t lived up to it statistically because of some poor passing.

  29. Houston Texans: Beau Benzschawel, G, Wisconsin
The Texans need to consider selecting multiple offensive linemen early in the 2019 NFL Draft to bolster Deshaun Watson’s pass protection.

Beau Benzschawel was told to return to school by draft advisory committee, but he has a chance to sneak into the first round with a strong senior campaign.

  30. Philadelphia Eagles: Jerry Tillery, DT, Notre Dame
Doug Pederson comes from the Andy Reid school of bolstering the trenches as possible, so I could see him wanting to add another defensive lineman.

  31. New England Patriots: Marvell Tell, S, USC
The Patriots love to use three-safety formations, and they could use an upgrade over Patrick Chung.

  32. New Orleans Saints: Bryan Edwards, WR, South Carolina
The Saints may want to search for another receiver if Cameron Meredith can’t recover from his brutal knee injury.

Bryan Edwards caught 44 balls for 590 yards as a freshman at South Carolina. He has a nice frame (6-3, 212) and could be chosen in the opening round of the 2019 NFL Draft.
