  1. Arizona Cardinals: Hjalte Froholdt, G, Arkansas
Multiple upgrades are needed for Arizona’s offensive line, which was a disaster last year.

  2. Oakland Raiders: Gerald Willis, DT, Miami
The Raiders need to add as many talented defensive linemen as possible.

Gerald Willis had a great senior season. He’s had off-the-field issues, so hopefully those are behind him. He’s the younger brother of Landon Collins.

  3. Pittsburgh Steelers: Alex Bars, G/OT, Notre Dame
The Steelers could use an early third-day pick on some offensive line depth, as Ramon Foster doesn’t have much time remaining.

Alex Bars has experience at both guard and tackle. NFL scouts believe he’ll have to play guard.

  4. New York Giants: Jamal Davis, LB, Akron
The Giants have had issues at linebacker for years. Perhaps they’ll finally do something about it this offseason.

  5. New York Giants: Trayvon Mullen, CB, Clemson
The Giants could spend multiple picks on cornerbacks, given their struggles in the secondary last year.

Trayvon Mullen is a 6-foot-2 corner who was highly recruited. However, he has disappointed team sources, so it sounds like he’ll be taken in the Round 3-5 range.

Pick change; previously David Edwards, OT

  6. Cleveland Browns: Demarcus Christmas, DT, Florida State
The Browns have a strong defensive line, but they could use another interior player who can generate a heavy pass rush and help stop the run. This would take their defensive front over the top.

Demarcus Christmas has good quickness at the point of attack and plus length.

  7. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Blace Brown, CB, Troy
The Buccaneers need to double up on corners, given the problems they have at the position.

  8. Detroit Lions: Will Harris, S, Boston College
The Lions need help all over their defense, and that includes their dubious safety situation.

  9. Buffalo Bills: Montre Hartage, CB, Northwestern
The Bills have yet to address their secondary, which is something every team likes to do at some point during the draft. You can never have enough talented cornerbacks.

There are concerns about Montre Hartage’s speed and athleticism, so he may have to move to safety.

  10. Denver Broncos: Ryan Bates, G, Penn State
The Broncos could stand to add multiple offensive linemen, even in the wake of the Ja’Wuan James acquisition.

  11. Cincinnati Bengals: Beau Benzschawel, G, Wisconsin
The Bengals should find a couple of upgrades to their offensive line, which needs to continue to be revamped.

Beau Benzschawel was told to return to school by draft advisory committee a year ago, but he has a chance to sneak into Day 2.

  12. Green Bay Packers: Ben Banogu, DE/OLB, TCU
The Packers added a couple of edge rushers in free agency, but they could use some depth with Nick Perry and Clay Matthews gone.

Ben Banogu is quick off the edge, but needs to improve his technique.

  13. Miami Dolphins: Bryce Love, RB, Stanford
The Dolphins have a new regime in place, so it’s likely that they’ll want to select their own running back rather than staying with Kenyan Drake, Frank Gore and Kalen Ballage.

Bryce Love has a great mix of balance, underrated strength, vision and home-run ability. He has major injury issues, however, and could fall into the middle of Day 3. Let this be a lesson: If you’re a underclassman projected to go in the first round, declare for the NFL Draft! Nothing bad may happen, but you could suffer the same, unfortunate fate as Love.

  14. Atlanta Falcons: Mark Fields, CB, Clemson
The Falcons cut Robert Alford, so they could be looking for some cornerback depth in the middle rounds.

  15. Washington Redskins: Terry Godwin, WR, Georgia
The Redskins lost Jamison Crowder in free agency, so I could see them using multiple picks on receivers.

Terry Godwin is an explosive, precise route-runner who can get separation easily.

  16. Carolina Panthers: Dexter Williams, RB, Notre Dame
The Panthers need a viable backup plan at running back if Christian McCaffrey were to suffer an injury.

Dexter Williams had a nice performance at the combine, outside of the receiving drills.

  17. Cleveland Browns: Drue Tranquill, LB, Notre Dame
The Browns need to add multiple new linebackers to their weakened corps, which lost Jamie Collins this offseason.

Drue Tranquill is a smart linebacker who was very productive at Notre Dame. There was concern about his athleticism, but he did well to answer those at the combine.

  18. Denver Broncos: Mike Bell, S, Fresno State
The Broncos have had issues at safety over the past couple of years, so they may address the position in the middle rounds.

Mike Bell has some excellent coverage skills.

  19. Tennessee Titans: Lukas Denis, S, Boston College
The Titans re-signed Kenny Vaccaro, but he has a dubious injury history, so depth could be obtained.

  20. Buffalo Bills: Kendall Blanton, TE, Missouri
Josh Allen needs all the help he can get. Buffalo must find two new receivers and a better tight end.

  21. Seattle Seahawks: Ryan Connelly, LB, Wisconsin
Long-time linebacker K.J. Wright will test free agency this offseason. If he leaves, the Seahawks will have to target a linebacker at some point.

  22. Baltimore Ravens: Jordan Brailford, DE/OLB, Oklahoma State
The Ravens could add a young edge rusher with Terrell Suggs moving on to Arizona.

  23. Houston Texans: Zach Gentry, TE, Michigan
The Texans have lacked a solid threat at tight end since the Owen Daniels days, so they may want to fix that this April.

Zach Gentry has great size and could be a mismatch threat in the NFL. He needs to improve his blocking. He worked out poorly at the combine.

  24. Chicago Bears: Josh Oliver, TE, San Jose State
Trey Burton has been a big disappointment, so the Bears might bring in a cheaper option to challenge him.

  25. Philadelphia Eagles: Keelan Doss, WR, UC-Davis
DeSean Jackson was acquired recently, but he’s just a short-term solution. The Eagles will likely draft a receiver at some point.

  26. Indianapolis Colts: Kevin Givens, DT, Penn State
The Colts need to find multiple pieces in an attempt to improve their lackluster pass rush.

  27. Dallas Cowboys: Travis Homer, RB, Miami
The Cowboys could do better than Rod Smith as far as a backup for Ezekiel Elliott.

Travis Homer projects as a change-of-pace back with some plus receiving ability.

  28. Los Angeles Chargers: Iman Marshall, CB, USC
Jason Verrett can’t stay healthy, so here’s some needed cornerback depth.

  29. Kansas City Chiefs: Damon Arnette, CB, Ohio State
The Chiefs need help at cornerback, as they’re weak at the position outside of Kendall Fuller and Bashaud Breeland, if he can stay healthy.

Damon Arnette struggled early in 2017, but improved as the season progressed. He has nice size (6-0) and speed, but once again struggled in 2018.

  30. New Orleans Saints: Edwin Alexander, NT, LSU
Sheldon Rankins tore his Achilles in January, so he may not be able to play in 2019. The Saints may pursue a defensive tackle in the middle rounds as a result.

Edwin Alexander is a monstrous run-stuffing nose tackle. He missed some time with a knee in 2018.

  31. Los Angeles Rams: Tre Watson, LB, Maryland
The Rams need some help at linebacker, as a new starter next to Cory Littleton should be obtained.

Tre Watson seems like he’ll be a strong two-down run defender in the NFL.

  32. Cleveland Browns: Cole Tracy, K, LSU
The Browns have several picks in the fifth round, so perhaps they’ll use one of them to solve their kicking woes.

  33. New York Giants: Brett Rypien, QB, Boise State
The Giants plan on sticking with Eli Manning for another year, so perhaps they’ll look toward the late rounds for a quarterback.

  34. Atlanta Falcons: Charles Omenihu, DE, Texas
It makes sense for the Falcons to pursue another edge rusher, given how poor their pass rush has been.

Charles Omenihu didn’t perform up to his ability at Texas, but he has loads of potential.

  35. Washington Redskins: Sutton Smith, DE/OLB, Northern Illinois
The Redskins could stand to obtain another edge rusher, as they don’t have much depth there, especially in the wake of Preston Smith’s departure.
