  1. Cleveland Browns: DaeSean Hamilton, WR, Penn State
The Browns have gotten Josh Gordon back from his long suspension, but can they really trust him? They’ll likely have to use one of their many early picks on a receiver.

  2. New York Giants: Brandon Parker, OT, North Carolina A&T
The Giants obviously need to do something about their poor offensive line. They’ve suffered countless injuries this year, but they still wouldn’t be very competitve if everyone were healthy because of their poor blocking.

  3. Indianapolis Colts: Royce Freeman, RB, Oregon
Jim Irsay hinted that his team would use an early-round selection on a running back. Saquon Barkley would be ideal at No. 3 overall, but he’s not available in this version of my mock draft.

Pick change; previously D.J. Moore, WR

  4. Houston Texans: Duke Dawson, CB, Florida
The Texans lost several free agents, including some defensive backs, last offseason. They’ll need to rebuild their secondary.

  5. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Nick Nelson, CB, Wisconsin
The Buccaneers used their first two picks to bolster their offense. Now, they turn their attention to the defense, which needs some help in the secondary.

Pick change; previously Jeff Holland, DE/OLB

  6. San Francisco 49ers: Marcell Ateman, WR, Oklahoma State
The 49ers are desperate for receiving talent, so I could see them doubling up at the position on the first two days of the 2018 NFL Draft.

Pick change; previously Jesse Bates, S

  7. Denver Broncos: Rashaad Penny, RB, San Diego State
It seems like everyone in Denver’s backfield has been a disappointment this season, so the Broncos may go after another running back.

Pick change; previously Jamarco Jones, OT

  8. New York Jets: Geron Christian, OT, Louisville
If the Jets spend their first-round pick on a quarterback, it would be irresponsible of them to leave Day 2 without at least one upgrade for the offensive line.

  9. Miami Dolphins: Anthony Averett, CB, Alabama
The Dolphins are in need of help in their back seven, as they have to find upgrades at linebacker and cornerback.

  10. San Francisco 49ers: Darius Leonard, LB, South Carolina State
The 49ers looked like they landed their stud linebacker for the next decade in Reuben Foster, but now it’s uncertain if he’ll ever play for them again. He’s been arrested twice in the span of a month, one of which was for allegedly dragging his injured girlfriend. He’ll be suspended for six games at the very least, and he could face jail time. The 49ers may opt to cut him.

Pick change; previously Chase Litton, QB

  11. Oakland Raiders: Malik Jefferson, LB, Texas
The Raiders had the worst linebacking corps in the NFL prior to acquiring NaVorro Bowman in the middle of the 2017 season. Bowman helped, but Oakland still needs another huge upgrade in the area.

Pick change; previously Justin Jones, DT

  12. Green Bay Packers: Alex Cappa, OT, Humboldt State
There’s some talk that the Packers could cut Bryan Bulaga this offseason, as he’s coming off his second knee surgery in five years. If so, here’s a potential replacement.

Pick change; previously Connor Williams, OT

  13. Cincinnati Bengals: Connor Williams, OT, Texas
Multiple upgrades on the offensive line are needed, as mentioned earlier. The situation is so bad at tackle that the Bengals could double up on the position early in the 2018 NFL Draft.

Pick change; previously Mason Rudolph, QB

  14. Kansas City Chiefs: Rasheem Green, DE/DT, USC
The Chiefs could stand to improve most areas of their defense. Here, they can continue to bolster the interior of their stop unit.

  15. Arizona Cardinals: Da’Shawn Hand, DE/DT, Alabama
Robert Nkemdiche has been a disappointment thus far, so the Cardinals should bring in someone to challenge him.

Pick change; previously Kyle Lauletta, QB

  16. Houston Texans: DeShon Elliott, S, Texas
It shouldn’t surprise anyone if the Texans double up on the secondary, given their issues against aerial attacks this past season.

  17. Dallas Cowboys: Antonio Callaway, WR, Florida
The Cowboys could use another threat in the receiving corps, and they’ve shown that they’re willing to take chances on troubled players. Antonio Callaway has some major off-the-field issues, but some team could give him a shot on Day 2.

  18. Detroit Lions: Frank Ragnow, C, Arkansas
The Lions appear to be losing Travis Swanson this offseason, so they’ll need to find a new center.

Pick change; previously Da’Shawn Hand, DE/DT

  19. Baltimore Ravens: Tony Brown, CB, Alabama
Unless Brandon Carr takes a big pay cut, I can’t see him being back next year. The Ravens could pursue another cornerback early in the draft if Carr leaves.

Pick change; previously Kalen Ballage, RB

  20. Los Angeles Chargers: Shaquem Griffin, LB, Central Florida
The Chargers have a great defense, but they need to bolster their linebacking corps. Shaquem Griffin was tremendous at the combine, and he could come off the board at some point in the third round.

Pick change; previously Mike White, QB

  21. Carolina Panthers: Jesse Bates, S, Wake Forest
The Panthers just cut Kurt Coleman. While this wasn’t completely unexpected, it basically forces the Panthers to use a significant resource on a replacement.

Pick change; previously Justin Reid, S

  22. Kansas City Chiefs: Deon Cain, WR, Clemson
The Chiefs don’t have much at receiver outside of Tyreek Hill, so this is something they’ll have to remedy this offseason.

Pick change; previously Dorance Armstrong, DE/OLB

  23. Los Angeles Rams: Michael Gallup, WR, Colorado State
The Rams have opted not to franchise Sammy Watkins, so they’ll need a replacement if they lose him this offseason.

Pick change; previously Sean Welsh, C/G

  24. Carolina Panthers: Auden Tate, WR, Florida State
The Panthers could use another receiver to go along with Devin Funchess and Curtis Samuel, as Cam Newton’s downfield options are pretty limited.

  25. Tennessee Titans: Tim Settle, NT, Virginia Tech
Sylvester Williams has turned out to be a poor addition for the Titans, so they could decide that they need to find a new nose tackle.

Pick change; previously Akrum Wadley, RB

  26. Atlanta Falcons: Trey Quinn, WR, SMU
Matt Ryan has limited downfield options outside of Julio Jones. Atlanta’s offense basically shuts down whenever Jones is injured, so adding another receiver would help.

  27. New Orleans Saints: Simmie Cobbs Jr., WR, Indiana
The Saints won’t have Ted Ginn Jr. around much longer, while Willie Snead was a huge disappointment this past season. Here’s another receiver to go with Michael Thomas.

  28. Pittsburgh Steelers: Kalen Ballage, RB, Arizona State
Le’Veon Bell may not be in Pittsburgh beyond this season, so I could see the Steelers adding an insurance policy.

Pick change; previously Jordan Whitehead, S

  29. Jacksonville Jaguars: Mark Andrews, TE, Oklahoma
The Jaguars could use a new tight end, as they don’t have anything at the position in the wake of the Julius Thomas trade.

Pick change; previously Mike Gesicki, TE

  30. Minnesota Vikings: Deontay Burnett, WR, USC
It sounds as though the Vikings are willing to give up on Laquon Treadwell, meaning they could be looking for another receiver in the middle of the 2018 NFL Draft.

  31. New England Patriots: Kyle Lauletta, QB, Richmond
Jimmy Garoppolo and Jacoby Brissett are both gone, so the Patriots need a new young quarterback to eventually replace Tom Brady.

Pick change; previously Jerome Baker, LB

  32. Buffalo Bills: Austin Corbett, C/G, Nevada
The Bills don’t have a true starting center in the wake of Eric Wood’s retirement. Here’s a replacement.

Pick change; previously Christian Campbell, CB

  33. Arizona Cardinals: Jerome Baker, LB, Ohio State
Deone Bucannon is an impending free agent after this season, so I could see Arizona using a mid-round selection on a linebacker.

Pick change; previously Kameron Kelly, CB/S

  34. Houston Texans: Greg Senat, OT, Wagner
The Texans must upgrade their poor offensive line to keep Deshaun Watson from getting injured again.

  35. Denver Broncos: Chukwuma Okorafor, OT, Western Michigan
The Broncos had one of the worst situations at right tackle this past season. That’s a situation that absolutely needs to be fixed.

Pick change; previously Keke Coutee, WR

  36. Cincinnati Bengals: Jaylen Samuels, TE, N.C. State
The Bengals should give Andy Dalton more weapons, and they can’t count on Tyler Eifert ever playing extensive action again.
