  1. Cleveland Browns: Tyler Orlosky, C, West Virginia
    I have to imagine that the Browns are growing tired of Cameron Erving’s ineptitude at center. Here’s someone to challenge him.

  2. San Francisco 49ers: Pat Mahomes, QB, Texas Tech
    The quarterback the 49ers choose in the first three rounds obviously depends on whether Chip Kelly is still around. I don’t know why the 49ers would hang on to the worst head coach in the NFL, but they’ve done much dumber things.

    Kelly prefers quarterbacks who release the ball quickly and fire passes accurately. That’s pretty much Pat Mahomes in a nutshell. Some teams see Mahomes as a second-day prospect, so the 49ers could certainly take him with this selection.

  3. Jacksonville Jaguars: Brad Kaaya, QB, Miami
    Brad Kaaya’s stock has slipped, but he’s definitely a bargain in the third round. The Jaguars could consider taking him, as they can’t really bench Blake Bortles because they don’t have an alternative. Drafting a quarterback who actually cares about football would be nice.



  4. Chicago Bears: Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU
    Alshon Jeffery is an impending free agent. He has had trouble staying healthy, so it’s hard to imagine the Bears giving him a long-term contract. Here’s an insurance policy.

  5. New York Jets: Jamar Summers, CB, Connecticut
    The Jets have to address both positions in their secondary. Cornerback help is more important, as Darrelle Revis has regressed into one of the worst players at his position in the entire league.

  6. Tennessee Titans: Damore’ea Stringefellow, WR, Ole Miss
    The Titans don’t have much at receiver outside of Rishard Matthews and Tajae Sharpe, both of whom are really just No. 2 options.

  7. Carolina Panthers: Roderick Johnson, OT, Florida State
    The Panthers desperately need to do something about their offensive line. The tackles were first exposed in the Super Bowl, and the situation has gotten worse since.

  8. Cincinnati Bengals: Dede Westbrook, WR, Oklahoma
    We’ve gotten a good look at what Cincinnati’s offense is like without A.J. Green, and it’s not pretty. The Bengals don’t really have any viable downfield weapons aside from Green. Tyler Boyd has some potential, but Andy Dalton needs more weapons.

  9. San Diego Chargers: Amara Darboh, WR, Michigan
    Given how injury-prone Keenan Allen has been, I could see the Chargers adding some talent to their receiving corps.



  10. Philadelphia Eagles: Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
    The Eagles have been playing musical chairs with their running backs this season because the coaching staff doesn’t really have confidence in anyone at the position to be the every-down carrier. The front office will want to change that this offseason.

  11. New Orleans Saints: Harold Landry, DE/OLB, Boston College
    The Saints could use help everywhere on defense, and adding yet another edge rusher definitely has to be on their checklist. Considering the quarterbacks in their division, they have to be able to generate as much pressure as possible.

  12. Arizona Cardinals: Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington
    Larry Fitzgerald has mulled over retirement, but even if he keeps playing, it’ll be difficult to retain Michael Floyd, who will be entering free agency come March.



  13. Buffalo Bills: Wayne Gallman, RB, Clemson
    The Bills appeared to have a great one-two punch at running back, but Karlos Williams ruined that. Here’s a better backup than Mike Gillislee.

  14. Green Bay Packers: Marquis Haynes, DE/OLB, Ole Miss
    The Packers place great pressure on opposing quarterbacks with Julius Peppers and Nick Perry, but both happen to be impending free agents. Peppers turns 37 in January, while Perry could prove to be too expensive to retain.




  15. Minnesota Vikings: Charles Walker, DT, Oklahoma
    Sharrif Floyd has been a major disappointment this year, as what was expected to be a brief absence has turned into a season-long injury. The Vikings may decide that they can’t rely on him.

  16. Tennessee Titans: Jordan Leggett, TE, Clemson
    Delanie Walker turns 33 this offseason, so the Titans might have interest in adding a successor.

  17. Indianapolis Colts: Jarron Jones, DE/DT, Notre Dame
    The Colts need help all over their defense, particularly their front seven. The defensive line is completely devoid of talent, so an upgrade up front would go a long way in improving the stop unit as a whole

  18. Washington Redskins: Tyrone Crowder, G, Clemson
    Washington’s offensive line has played well this year, but the team has to find an upgrade over guard Shawn Lauvao. A mid-round selection can be used on one.

  19. Minnesota Vikings: Jeremy McNichols, RB, Boise State
    The Vikings need a legitimate backup plan for when Adrian Peterson goes down with an injury. Besides, Peterson won’t be in the NFL much longer.

  20. Pittsburgh Steelers: Mason Rudolph, QB, Oklahoma State
    It’s time for the Steelers to develop a viable backup behind Ben Roethlisberger because Landry Jones has been horrible.



  21. Houston Texans: Davis Webb, QB, California
    The Texans will think about spending a second-day pick on a quarterback because of how disappointing Brock Osweiler has been this season.

  22. Atlanta Falcons: Davon Godchaux, DT, LSU
    The Falcons are pretty soft against the run up the middle, so they should think about spending an early choice on an interior defensive lineman.

  23. Baltimore Ravens: Isaiah Ford, WR, Virginia Tech
    Steve Smith doesn’t have much time remaining in the NFL, and the same thing could be said about Breshad Perriman if he doesn’t prove himself. Baltimore spending an early-round pick on a receiver shouldn’t surprise anyone.

  24. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Donnie Miles, S, North Carolina
    Tampa Bay has the worst safeties in the NFL, as evidenced by Derek Carr setting a franchise record in passing yards. An early selection needs to be used on this position.

  25. Denver Broncos: Adam Bisnowaty, OT, Pittsburgh
    Donald Stephenson has been one of the worst offensive tackles in the NFL this season, and he’s been called out by Gary Kubiak recently. The Broncos will be searching for a new right tackle if Stephenson doesn’t improve.

  26. Detroit Lions: Cameron Sutton, CB, Tennessee
    Nevin Lawson has played well across from Darius Slay this year, but the Lions could use some depth at cornerback.

  27. New York Giants: Carlos Watkins, DT, Clemson
    The Giants spent tons of money on their defensive line, but it hasn’t produced as expected. Adding a player who can generate interior pressure will be important.

  28. Kansas City Chiefs: Ryan Anderson, DE/OLB, Alabama
    Tamba Hali won’t be around forever, so the Chiefs should think about adding some depth to their edge rush.

  29. Seattle Seahawks: Taylor Moton, OT, Western Michigan
    The Seahawks have yet to address their offensive line in this 2017 NFL Mock Draft, which is probably a mistake. They have some major issues at tackle.

  30. New England Patriots: Deatrich Wise Jr., DE/DT, Arkansas
    The Patriots never found a replacement for Dominique Easley, so here’s someone who can provide a solid interior pass rush.

  31. Oakland Raiders: Hasson Reddick, DE/OLB, Temple
    The Raiders could stand to bolster their pass rush, as it’s unclear if Aldon Smith will be able to stay out of trouble going forward.

  32. Dallas Cowboys: Daeshon Hall, DE, Texas A&M
    The Cowboys could stand to bolster their pass rush, which tends to be pretty inconsistent. It would help if Randy Gregory could play, but Dallas has to move on as if he won’t be part of the team going forward.
