  1. Cleveland Browns: Roderick Johnson, OT, Florida State
The Browns never replaced Mitchell Schwartz, and so they have a liability at right tackle as a result. Roderick Johnson can start there right away and eventually move to the blind side once Joe Thomas retires.

  2. San Diego Chargers: Quinton Nelson, G, Notre Dame
The Chargers might be thinking about adding an interior lineman to replace Orlando Franklin, who has been a bust signing thus far because he hasn’t been able to stay healthy.

Pick change; previously Davis Webb, QB

  3. Miami Dolphins: Nick Chubb, RB, Georgia
The Dolphins are getting great value here with Nick Chubb. The Georgia back could easily be chosen in the first round. He’d replace the injury-prone Arian Foster and underwhelming Jay Ajayi.

  4. San Francisco 49ers: Courtland Sutton, WR, SMU
I don’t understand why the 49ers avoided addressing the receiver position until late in the 2016 NFL Draft. How did they not realize that they have such a huge need in that area?

  5. Chicago Bears: Sidney Jones, CB, Washington
The Bears have issues all over their defense. Their front seven is struggling because of injuries. Their secondary, on the other hand, wasn’t good to begin with. Bryce Callahan has played well in the slot, but upgrades need to be made on the outside.

  6. New York Jets: Jourdan Lewis, CB, Michigan
Speaking of teams that need improvement at cornerback, the Jets will desperately be searching for one, as they’ll cut Darrelle Revis at the first opportunity in which it’s lucrative for them to do so.

Pick change; previously Julie’n Davenport, OT

  7. Carolina Panthers: Eddie Jackson, S, Alabama
The Panthers spent most of the 2016 NFL Draft attempting to bolster their cornerback position. The safety group also needs to be upgraded.

  8. Jacksonville Jaguars: Ethan Pocic, C/G, LSU
The Jaguars are trying Luke Joeckel at guard, but it doesn’t appear as though he’s cutting it there either. They’ll have to spend an early selection on an upgrade.

  9. New Orleans Saints: Zach Cunningham, ILB, Vanderbilt
I still can’t believe the Saints signed James Laurinaitis. Did they not watch how horrible he was for the Rams? Seriously, what were they thinking?

  10. Indianapolis Colts: Royce Freeman, RB, Oregon
I’d have to think the Colts will be looking at a running back with one of their first few picks. Frank Gore won’t be around much longer, and Indianapolis doesn’t have a viable backup for him.

Pick change; previously Raekwon McMillan, LB

  11. Detroit Lions: DeMarcus Walker, DE/DT, Florida State
Detroit’s defensive line is very strong on the edge (when Ziggy Ansah is in the lineup), but the team has yet to find a worthy replacement for Ndamukong Suh. The Lions’ inability to get to opposing quarterbacks needs to be fixed.

  12. Arizona Cardinals: Dan Feeney, G, Indiana
The Cardinals signed Evan Mathis, but that was a temporary solution because he may consider retirement soon. Dan Feeney won’t be able to teach his teammates much until he’s a veteran, but he could provide an upgrade on the interior of the front if Mathis leaves.

Pick change; previously JuJu Smith-Schuster, WR

  13. Cincinnati Bengals: Carl Lawson, DE/OLB, Auburn
Michael Johnson has not been getting the job done as an edge rusher across from Carlos Dunlap. The Bengals will have to find an upgrade at defensive end.

  14. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama
The Buccaneers gave up on Austin Seferian-Jenkins, and understandably so. With that in mind, they could opt to use a second-day selection on a replacement.

Pick change; previously Marcus Maye, S

  15. Cleveland Browns: Justin Evans, S, Texas A&M
The Browns have some horrific play at safety, so here’s another upgrade for their beleaguered defensive backfield.

  16. New York Giants: Davis Webb, QB, California
Based on how Eli Manning has played lately, it seems like it’s time for the Giants to find a new quarterback that they can start at some point in the near future.

Pick change; previously Wayne Gallman, RB

  17. Kansas City Chiefs: Anthony Walker, ILB, Northwestern
The Chiefs could spend a second-day selection on an inside linebacker, given that Derrick Johnson is nearing retirement.

  18. Los Angeles Rams: Pat Elflein, C/G, Ohio State
The Rams have been weak at center for what seems like decades. OK, it hasn’t been that long, but the position has been a problem for them for a very long time. It’s time to finally end that.

  19. Buffalo Bills: Cooper Kupp, WR, Eastern Washington
It’s unclear why the Bills didn’t find an upgrade over Robert Woods this offseason, but they need to obtain another receiver to take the pressure off Sammy Watkins.

  20. Washington Redskins: Chad Kelly, QB, Ole Miss
If Kirk Cousins continues to disappoint, it’s hard to imagine him returning to Washington next year. If he leaves, the Redskins will obviously have to find a new quarterback.

  21. Baltimore Ravens: Chris Wormley, DE/DT, Michigan
The Ravens could easily continue to address their front seven, as they need help on the defensive line in addition to outside linebacker.

Pick change; previously Jourdan Lewis, CB

  22. Houston Texans: Jarron Jones, DE/DT, Notre Dame
The Texans were expected to target a replacement for Jared Crick in the 2016 NFL Draft, but never got a chance to. Now, they need a defensive end even more in the wake of the J.J. Watt situation.

  23. Philadelphia Eagles: Isaiah Ford, WR, Virginia Tech
The Eagles have nothing across from Jordan Matthews, aside from some projects like Dorial Green-Beckham and Paul Turner. If neither steps up this year, Philadelphia will be in the market for a new No. 2 receiver.

  24. Green Bay Packers: Jake Butt, TE, Michigan
It’s hard to get behind Jared Cook, who has been a disappointment throughout his career. If he doesn’t step up this season, the Packers could opt to use an early pick on a tight end like Jake Butt.

  25. Seattle Seahawks: Julie’n Davenport, OT, Bucknell
The Seahawks almost have to make this pick, don’t they? Their offensive line issues have been well-documented, as they have some major problems at offensive tackle.

Pick change; previously Jourdan Lewis, CB

  26. Oakland Raiders: Marquis Haynes, DE/OLB, Ole Miss
It’s amazing how ineffective Oakland’s pass rush has been thus far. Khalil Mack has been a ghost, and no one else is stepping up to keep double teams off of him. The Raiders desperately need to bring in someone new to get to the quarterback.

Pick change; previously Devonte Fields, DE/OLB

  27. Dallas Cowboys: Evan Engram, TE, Ole Miss
Jason Witten doesn’t have much time remaining in the NFL, so the Cowboys could stand to use an early selection on a tight end. Evan Engram has drawn comparisons to Jordan Reed.

  28. Denver Broncos: Charles Walker, DT, Oklahoma
Charles Walker would be a nice fit in Denver’s defense, as the Broncos have to bolster the interior of their front to improve against the rush.

  29. Atlanta Falcons: Dorian Johnson, G, Pittsburgh
The Falcons could stand to upgrade Chris Chester, the one liability that they currently possess on their offensive line.

  30. New England Patriots: Adam Bisnowaty, OT, Pittsburgh
The Patriots have to find a tackle who can start in the future and provide much-needed depth in the present, as they’ve had injury issues at the position over the past couple of seasons.

Pick change; previously Chris Wormley, DT

  31. Pittsburgh Steelers: Wayne Gallman, RB, Clemson
DeAngelo Williams won’t be around much longer, so the Steelers will need a viable backup running back just in case Le’Veon Bell gets suspended again.

Pick change; previously Deatrich Wise Jr., DE/DT

  32. Minnesota Vikings: Budda Baker, S, Washington
The Vikings have needed help next to Harrison Smith for quite some time now, so perhaps this is when they’ll finally find a solution.
