  1. Seattle Seahawks: Jack Conklin, OT, Michigan State
    The Seahawks almost have to upgrade their offensive line, don’t they? Russell Wilson is constantly running for his life, and one of these weeks, he’s going to go down, and like Steve Urkel, he won’t be able to get back up. Even if a prospect like Jack Conklin doesn’t pan out, he won’t be worse than Garry Gilliam, who might be one of the worst linemen I’ve ever seen.

  2. Washington Redskins: Scooby Wright, LB, Arizona
    Washington’s two primary inside linebackers, Keenan Robinson and Perry Riley, will be free agents in 2016 and 2017, respectively. They haven’t played particularly well anyway, so if the Redskins aren’t in a position to improve the secondary, perhaps they’ll look into bolstering their linebacking corps.

  3. St. Louis Rams: Tyler Boyd, WR, Pittsburgh
    The Rams had interest in DeVante Parker as a candidate for No. 10 overall, but they opted to go with Todd Gurley instead. Perhaps they’ll find a top receiver next spring because they absolutely need to get Kenny Britt out of the starting lineup. I wrote earlier that I thought about dropping Tyler Boyd recently in the wake of his DUI arrest, but the Rams are a team that tends to take chances on troubled players.

  4. Miami Dolphins: Ezekiel Elliott, RB, Ohio State
    Lamar Miller struggled to start the year, but has gotten hot ever since PC Head Coach took over for Joe Philbin. However, Miller is an impending free agent, so if PC Head Coach isn’t retained, Miller could try to sign with a team that has a brighter outlook.

  5. Pittsburgh Steelers: Kendall Fuller, CB, Virginia Tech
    The Steelers almost have to make this pick, don’t they? The front office has avoided upgrading the cornerback position in the first round for quite some time now, but that could change, given how dreadful the defense looked in the season opener versus Tom Brady.

    Kendall Fuller would be higher than this if it weren’t for his season-ending injury, but it’s not a huge concern amongst teams.

  6. Indianapolis Colts: Vadal Alexander, G, LSU
    The Colts need to stop screwing around and fix Andrew Luck’s offensive line, which has been an abomination for far too long. Its performance Monday night against the Jets was an embarrassment. The tackles are fine, but every position on the interior has to be upgraded.



  7. New York Giants: Kenny Clark, DT, UCLA
    Johnathan Hankins is a very talented defensive tackle, but that’s all the Giants have at the position. They need to fill the huge void they have next to Hankins, so I expect that to be a priority for them next offseason.

  8. Minnesota Vikings: Nate Andrews, S, Florida State
    Harrison Smith might be the best safety in the NFL. However, the Vikings have nothing else at the position, and the last time I checked, most teams start two players there. Minnesota could be searching for help next to Smith come April.

  9. New York Jets: Jerald Hawkins, OT, LSU
    A future replacement for D’Brickashaw Ferguson… or perhaps a current one. Ferguson isn’t playing as well as he has in the past, and he’ll be owed close to $9 million in 2016. If he doesn’t restructure, he could end up being a cap casualty.

  10. Arizona Cardinals: A’Shawn Robinson, DE/DT, Alabama
    Outside of Calais Campbell, the Cardinals aren’t all that talented on their defensive line. Plus, Campbell isn’t getting any younger, as he’ll turn 30 this upcoming offseason. This is tremendous value for A’Shawn Robinson, who was No. 12 in last week’s update.

  11. Atlanta Falcons: Emmanuel Ogbah, DE, Oklahoma State
    O’Brien Schofield is seeing a ton of snaps this season. The Falcons would be better off if that didn’t happen – they currently have the fewest sacks in the NFL – so it’s possibly that they could use a second-consecutive first-round pick on an edge rusher.

  12. Denver Broncos: DeForest Buckner, DE/DT, Oregon
    The Broncos have a nice pair of starting defensive ends in Derek Wolfe and Malik Jackson, but both will be free agents after the 2015 season. It’ll be difficult to retain both.



  13. Carolina Panthers: Michael Thomas, WR, Ohio State
    With all of the first-round left tackles off the board, the Panthers could go with the best available player, who also happens to fill a need. The Panthers’ receiving corps has been dreadful without Kelvin Benjamin, so giving Cam Newton another weapon isn’t a bad idea.

  14. Cincinnati Bengals: Shilique Calhoun, DE/OLB, Michigan State
    The Bengals signed Michael Johnson after the Buccaneers released him this offseason. However, there’s no guarantee he’ll play well for Cincinnati, given that he stopped trying when he was in Tampa last year. If Johnson continues to take his career for granted – he’s been just average through six games – the Bengals will have to find another pass-rusher next spring.

  15. Green Bay Packers: Adolphus Washington, DE/DT, Ohio State
    The Jaguars gave up on Luke Joeckel after three years earlier in this mock. Let’s see if the Packers do the same with Datone Jones, who has gotten into trouble off the field. If Jones continues to struggle – to be fair, he has been slightly better than usual – Green Bay may want to bolster its defensive line.
