  1. Chicago Bears: Tyler Johnstone, OT, Oregon
The Bears drafted a center, but they need more than just one upgrade on their horrific offensive line. They need to move Kyle Long back to guard, so why not another blocking Duck who can make that happen?

    Follow @walterfootball for updates.

  2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Cameron Sutton, CB, Tennessee
Here’s some more help for Tampa’s anemic defense. Both Alterraun Verner and Johnthan Banks were terrible against Marcus Mariota. At least one will need to be upgraded this offseason.

Pick change; previously Tre’Davius White, CB

  3. Jacksonville Jaguars: Dan Voltz, C, Wisconsin
The Jaguars signed Stefen Wisniewski, but that was just to a 1-year deal, so they may need a new center after this season.

Pick change; previously Max Tuerk, C

  4. Cleveland Browns: Travin Duval, WR, LSU
The Browns have to use an early-round pick on a receiver eventually, right? They can’t keep going with retreads.

  5. San Francisco 49ers: Chris Jones, DE/DT, Mississippi State
The 49ers have no pass rush with Justin Smith and Ray McDonald gone. That needs to change.

Pick change; previously Cody Whitehair, G

  6. St. Louis Rams: Kenny Clark, DT, UCLA
The Rams are stacked at defensive tackle right now, but Nick Fairley was signed on for just one season. Depth will be needed here if Fairley leaves next spring.

Pick change; previously Maliek Collins, DT

  7. Washington Redskins: Tre’Davious White, CB, LSU
Here’s more help for Washington’s secondary. DeAngelo Hall was playing well prior to his injury, but he won’t be around much longer.

Pick change; previously Demarcus Robinson, WR

  8. Houston Texans: Christian Hackenberg, QB, Penn State
Three games shouldn’t drop a prospect a whole round, but my premise behind slotting Christian Hackenberg in the top five was that he would go that high if he put together a strong 2015 campaign. It doesn’t look like that’s going to happen now, so it’s realistic could drop to the second day. If so, I’m sure the Texans would take a chance on him, given that Bill O’Brien got the most out of him when he was at Penn State.

  9. New Orleans Saints: O.J. Howard, TE, Alabama
Here’s some much-needed help for Drew Brees. The Saints are still having issues in the red zone, so it’s time to bring in a talented tight end who can stay healthy and be positive in the locker room.

  10. Tennessee Titans: Darian Thompson, S, Boise State
The Titans need to address their woeful secondary early in the 2016 NFL Draft. They need help at both cornerback and safety, so picking the top defensive back available at this juncture makes sense.

Pick change; previously Chris Jones, DE/DT

  11. Oakland Raiders: Maliek Collins, DT, Nebraska
Dan Williams looks like a great signing thus far, but the Raiders need help next to him, as they don’t have anyone else to rush the passer in the interior.

Pick change; previously Kenny Clark, DT

  12. Detroit Lions: Anthony Zettel, DE/DT, Penn State
The Lions never properly replaced Ndamukong Suh and the other defensive tackles they lost this past season, so they’ll have to put forth effort into doing so next spring.

  13. Miami Dolphins: Vonn Bell, S, Ohio State
In addition to having to upgrade the cornerback spot across from Brent Grimes, the Dolphins have to do something about their poor safety play.

Pick change; previously Darian Thompson, S

  14. Pittsburgh Steelers: Tony Conner, S, Ole Miss
Here’s more much-needed secondary help for the Steelers. They’ll need to address the safety position if Shamarko Thomas doesn’t pan out.

  15. New York Giants: Derrick Henry, RB, Alabama
The Giants can’t run the ball very effectively. Rashad Jennings looks done as a result of all of his past injuries, while Andre Williams is nothing but a plodder. Here’s a better option to go along with Shane Vereen.

  16. Baltimore Ravens: Corey Robinson, WR, Notre Dame
Steve Smith announced that this will be his final season, so the Ravens will need a new starting receiver to go along with Breshad Perriman.

  17. Dallas Cowboys: Alex Collins, RB, Arkansas
Joseph Randle, Darren McFadden, Christine Michael… These are the guys who are supposed to replace DeMarco Murray? Despite how great Dallas’ offensive line is, it’s hard to imagine those three having great success.

  18. Kansas City Chiefs: Cody Whitehair, G, Kansas State
Back-to-back offensive linemen for a head coach who loves bolstering the trenches? Makes sense to me. The Chiefs, as mentioned earlier, need major upgrades up front.

Pick change; previously Spencer Drango, OT

  19. New York Jets: Devontae Booker, RB, Utah
Chris Ivory is a nice player, but is he good enough to be a primary back in this league? I’m not so sure. Besides, Ivory will be a free agent this March.

Pick change; previously Carl Lawson, DE/OLB

  20. San Diego Chargers: Jack Allen, C, Michigan State
The Chargers said goodbye to Nick Hardwick this offseason. They’ll try Chris Watt out as a replacement, but the natural guard could struggle at the center position; he’s been woeful thus far in 2015. Here’s a solution if he doesn’t improve.

  21. Indianapolis Colts: KeiVarae Russell, CB, Notre Dame
We’ve seen the types of issues the Colts have in their secondary. They lack depth there, and even their “top” talent at the position sucks after Vontae Davis. Here’s an upgrade.

Pick change; previously Dan Voltz, C

  22. St. Louis Rams: Spencer Drango, OT, Baylor
More offensive help for the Rams is needed. They already grabbed their receiver, and now they can bolster the front, which has major issues blocking.

Pick change; previously Su’a Cravens, S

  23. Atlanta Falcons: Landon Turner, G, North Carolina
The guard position is another spot on the offensive line that the Falcons could have upgraded in the 2015 draft. They ended up trading for Andy Levitre, but given how much he struggled in Tennessee, that deal may not work out.

  24. Carolina Panthers: Rashard Higgins, WR, Colorado State
It’s no secret that the Panthers need some help in their receiving corps. The unit will be better if Devin Funchess becomes a solid starter across from Kelvin Benjamin, but Carolina doesn’t have much else at the position.

Pick change; previously Devontae Booker, RB

  25. Minnesota Vikings: Greg Pyke, G, Georgia
T.J. Clemmings might be Minnesota’s left tackle of the future, but the front office will have to look for a long-term left guard as well.

  26. Buffalo Bills: Duke Williams, WR, Auburn
Two early-round receivers in three years? Well, it does make sense. After the 2016 season, the Bills will have only three receivers under contract: Sammy Watkins, Marcus Easley and Dezmin Lewis, and there’s no guarantee the latter two will even be on the roster by then. Charlie Campbell reported in the NFL Draft Rumor Mill that Duke Williams has character concerns, but Rex Ryan has shown an affinity for those sorts of players thus far.

  27. Denver Broncos: Zack Sanchez, CB, Oklahoma
The Broncos have the option of moving Bradley Roby to safety. With that in mind, they’re free to find an upgrade at either position in the secondary.

Pick change; previously Josh Augusta, DE/DT

  28. Seattle Seahawks: Kyle Murphy, OT, Stanford
Seattle’s offensive line is an abomination. The most glaring weakness is at right tackle, where, in St. Louis, Garry Gilliam may have had the worst performances from an offensive lineman I’ve ever seen. I’d call him a turnstile, but that would be offensive to turnstiles.

  29. Cincinnati Bengals: Andrew Billings, DT, Baylor
The Bengals spent their first two selections on offensive tackles when tackles of the defensive variety would’ve made more sense. Here’s someone Cincinnati could consider in the 2016 NFL Draft.

  30. Arizona Cardinals: Cody Kessler, QB, USC
I don’t know why the Cardinals traded for Matt Barkley, but here’s a young quarterback who actually might have a future in the NFL.

  31. New England Patriots: Will Redmond, CB, Mississippi State
Perhaps Bill Belichick will use a second-round pick next year on an actual need, rather than a late-round safety. I don’t get how New England failed to find replacements for Darrelle Revis and Brandon Browner.

Pick change; previously Zack Sanchez, CB

  32. Green Bay Packers: Reggie Ragland, ILB, Alabama
Chip Kelly took the preseason way too seriously, but perhaps it was a blessing in disguise for the Packers, as linebacker Sam Barrington was exposed as a huge liability in the interior of their defense. That will need to be addressed.
