*** This mock draft will be updated at least once per week (Tuesday afternoons and other times for important events.). Check out old versions of this 2015 NFL Mock Draft in the archived mock draft section. Follow @walterfootball for updates. ***

  1. Minnesota Vikings: John Miller, G, Louisville
Charlie Johnson is gone, so the Vikings may want to bring someone in to compete for the starting left guard spot.

    Follow @walterfootball for updates.

Pick change; previously David Cobb, RB

  2. Tennessee Titans: Cam Thomas, CB, Western Kentucky
I could see the Titans adding another cornerback to really fortify their need there.

  3. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jamil Douglas, G, Arizona State
The Jaguars addressed the tackle position in free agency with Jermey Parnell. They’ll have to bolster the guard position as well.

  4. Oakland Raiders: Senquez Golson, CB, Ole Miss
The Raiders had a couple of cornerbacks hit free agency, so they could use some depth at the position.

  5. Washington Redskins: Joey Mbu, NT, Houston
The Redskins signed Terrance Knighton recently, but that was just a 1-year pact. Here’s some insurance in case he doesn’t pan out.

  6. Chicago Bears: Xavier Williams, NT, Northern Iowa
The Bears have a big hole at the nose tackle position in their new 3-4, so this is yet another position they’ll need to address.

  7. Denver Broncos: Shaquille Mason, G, Georgia Tech
The Broncos lost Orlando Franklin to the rival Chargers this offseason, so they’ll need to address the offensive line at some point during the 2015 NFL Draft.

Pick change; previously Robert Myers, G/OT

  8. New York Giants: Clayton Geathers, S, Central Florida
New York’s top three safeties all had expiring contracts. Antrel Rolle signed with the Bears, so a replacement is needed for him.

Pick change; previously Tyler Davison, DT

  9. Philadelphia Eagles: Jordan Richards, S, Stanford
The Eagles will have to spend multiple picks on defensive backs, including one on a safety. The team needs help next to Malcolm Jenkins.

  10. Atlanta Falcons: Deontay Greenberry, WR, Houston
The Falcons lost Harry Douglas this offseason, and they won’t have Roddy White around much longer.

Pick change; previously Ty Sambrailo, OT

  11. Cleveland Browns: Ramik Wilson, ILB, Georgia
The Browns can add an inside linebacker to go along with the beautiful new logo they’ve introduced. They’ll need a future starter at the position with Karlos Dansby turning 34 in the middle of the 2015 season.

  12. New Orleans Saints: Tony Washington, DE/OLB, Oregon
This is much later than I wanted to slot an edge rusher for the Saints, who desperately have to improve their ability to get to the quarterback.

Pick change; previously Deontay Greenberry, WR

  13. Miami Dolphins: Kaleb Eulls, DT, Mississippi State
The Dolphins signed Ndamukong Suh, but lost Randy Starks and Jared Odrick, so they could stand to add a defensive tackle.

  14. Miami Dolphins: Andy Gallik, C, Boston College
The center position has to be upgraded. Samson Satele did not play well at all last year.

  15. San Francisco 49ers: Zach Hodges, DE/OLB, Harvard
Aldon Smith is someone who hasn’t left the 49ers this offseason, but he won’t be around much longer if he gets into trouble again. Here’s some depth at outside linebacker.

Pick change; previously Tony Washington, DE/OLB

  16. Houston Texans: Cody Riggs, CB, Notre Dame
The Texans could use some depth at corner, as they were in trouble last year when some of their starters went down.

  17. San Diego Chargers: JaCorey Shepherd, CB, Kansas
Most teams are more than happy to add depth to their secondary in the middle rounds. The Chargers actually need to do that.

Pick change; previously Troy Hill, CB

  18. New Orleans Saints: Xzavier Dixon, DE/OLB, Alabama
The Saints double up on edge rushers in Round 5. As stated earlier, I wanted to give New Orleans an outside linebacker earlier.

Pick change; previously Troy Hill, CB

  19. Buffalo Bills: Geneo Grissom, DE/OLB, Oklahoma
The Bills managed to keep Jerry Hughes, but they still need an edge rusher for depth purposes.

Pick change; previously Zach Hodges, DE/OLB

  20. Philadelphia Eagles: Mark Glowinski, G, West Virginia
It’s been rumored that the Eagles want to trade Evan Mathis. That doesn’t make sense, given that Mathis is one of the top guards in the NFL, but nothing Chip Kelly has done this offseason has been very logical.

Pick change; previously Shaquille Mason, G

  21. Cincinnati Bengals: Taiwan Jones, LB, Michigan State
The Bengals brought in A.J. Hawk for linebacking depth, but he’s obviously not much more than a short-term option, if that.

  22. Baltimore Ravens: Robert Myers, G/OT, Tennessee State
The Ravens don’t have much depth on the interior of their offensive line, so they may use a mid-round selection on some help in that area.

Pick change; previously Jesse James, TE

  23. Arizona Cardinals: Ben Heeney, LB, Kansas
The Cardinals have had major issues covering tight ends the past two years. The main problem in this regard this past season was the inside linebacker position. Karlos Dansby and Daryl Washington were both missed. Sean Weatherspoon signed with Arizona, but he can’t be counted on to stay healthy.

  24. Pittsburgh Steelers: Andrew Donnal, OT, Iowa
The Steelers signed Marcus Gilbert to a deal recently, but he hasn’t lived up to it. The front office could look for someone in the middle rounds to push him.

  25. Carolina Panthers: Troy Hill, CB, Oregon
Some of Carolina’s young defensive backs played well down the stretch last year. The Panthers now need depth behind those players.

Pick change; previously Josh Shaw, CB

  26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Darren Waller, WR, Georgia Tech
Vincent Jackson will return next year, but it doesn’t sound like he’ll be around for much longer than that. Here’s a potential starter for the future.

  27. Dallas Cowboys: Lorenzo Doss, CB, Tulane
The Cowboys addressed both defensive back positions earlier in this mock draft, but they could stand to add more to their secondary.

  28. Denver Broncos: Jalston Fowler, FB, Alabama
The Broncos are looking to bring in a new fullback this offseason. They have two fifth-round selections, so perhaps they’ll use one on a lead blocker.

  29. Indianapolis Colts: Terrance Magee, RB, LSU
The Colts signed Frank Gore – check out my grade in the NFL Free Agent Signing Grades page – but he’s just a short-term solution. A long-term option is needed.

  30. Green Bay Packers: Zach Wagenmann, DE/OLB, Montana
Julius Peppers was a great addition to the Packers, but a long-term backup is needed behind Clay Matthews and Nick Perry is needed once Peppers moves on.

Pick change; previously Geneo Grissom, DE/OLB

  31. Seattle Seahawks: Justin Cox, CB, Mississippi State
Byron Maxwell signed with the Eagles, while Tharold Simon was atrocious in the Super Bowl when he had to replace Jeremy Lane.

  32. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Quandre Diggs, CB, Texas
The Buccaneers may target a cornerback earlier than this. They could use some competition for Johnthan Banks.

Pick change; previously JaCorey Shepherd, CB

  33. Carolina Panthers: Martell Spaight, OLB, Arkansas
Luke Kuechly and Thomas Davis are studs, but Carolina could stand to find a third linebacker to complement the two Pro Bowlers.

  34. Seattle Seahawks: Chris Conley, WR, Georgia
The Seahawks traded for Jimmy Graham, but they could still stand to add another play-maker, as their receiving corps doesn’t have much talent.

  35. Baltimore Ravens: Austin Hill, WR, Arizona
I have the Ravens picking a receiver in the first round, but they can definitely double up on the position in the wake of Torrey Smith’s departure.

  36. Kansas City Chiefs: B.J. Finney, C, Kansas State
Here’s a potential replacement for Rodney Hudson, who signed with the Raiders this offseason.

  37. Kansas City Chiefs: Brandon Bridge, QB, South Alabama
The Chiefs could stand to add a young quarterback to groom behind Alex Smith.

  38. Carolina Panthers: Josh Harper, WR, Fresno State
Another receiver? Why not? Cam Newton needs all the help he can get.

  39. Houston Texans: Marcus Hardison, DE/DT, Arizona State
The Texans never properly replaced Antonio Smith on the defensive line, so here’s a potential solution.

  40. Baltimore Ravens: Shane Carden, QB, East Carolina
The Ravens lost Tyrod Taylor this offseason, so they could add competition for the No. 2 quarterback position.
