*** This mock draft will be updated at least once per week (Tuesday afternoons and other times for important events.). Check out old versions of this 2015 NFL Mock Draft in the archived mock draft section. Follow @walterfootball for updates. ***

  1. Tennessee Titans: T.J. Clemmings, OT, Pittsburgh
It’s customary for teams to match their new quarterback with another upgrade on offense, whether that’s a receiver or a blocker. The Titans need the latter, as Michael Roos’ retirement has creating a big hole at right tackle.

    Follow @walterfootball for updates.

  2. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jake Fisher, OT, Oregon
The Buccaneers need help at left tackle, as Anthony Collins is gone after just one awful season. Teams usually grab an offensive weapon or a blocker after choosing a franchise quarterback, so that’s what Tampa is doing here.

  3. Oakland Raiders: Devin Smith, WR, Ohio State
I had Kevin White going to the Raiders at No. 4 overall in a previous 2015 NFL Mock Draft. The Raiders could still take him, but if they don’t, they’ll have to look for a receiver with their next pick, as Derek Carr needs a primary target.

  4. Jacksonville Jaguars: Byron Jones, CB, Connecticut
The Jaguars signed Davon House to a terrible deal – check the NFL Free Agent Signing Grades page for details – but they still could use another cornerback, and Byron Jones has the size Gus Bradley likes.

And yes, Byron Jones could go this early. In fact, he could be chosen in the first round. He already had good tape, so he’s not just a workout warrior. The athleticism he displayed at the NFL Combine could push him into Thursday.

  5. New York Jets: Tevin Coleman, RB, Indiana
Chris Johnson hit free agency after the Jets declined his option. Not like he was going to play much anyway if he returned. The Jets may want to bring in another running back to go with Chris Ivory.

  6. Washington Redskins: Kevin Johnson, CB, Wake Forest
The Redskins obviously need to make multiple upgrades to their woeful secondary. Help is needed at both corner and safety, so Washington can take the best player available at either position.

  7. Chicago Bears: Arik Armstead, DE/DT, Oregon
The Bears went offense in the first round, so they’ll have to begin acquiring pieces for their new 3-4 defense on Day 2. They can start by addressing the defensive line, as they need a starting defensive end to go along with Ray McDonald.

  8. New York Giants: Eli Harold, DE/OLB, Virginia
General manager Jerry Reese is looking for pass-rushers. He tried to sign Brandon Graham a couple of weeks ago, so he may take a defensive end in the first couple of rounds of the 2015 NFL Draft.

Pick change; previously Ronald Darby, CB

  9. St. Louis Rams: Dorial Green-Beckham, WR, Oklahoma
Brian Quick looked good prior to his injury, and both Kenny Britt and Stedman Bailey have had their moments in the second half of the season, but the Rams lack a true No. 1 receiver, which is something they can obtain with this selection.

  10. Atlanta Falcons: Ameer Abdullah, RB, Nebraska
I don’t think the Falcons will go out of their way to draft a running back, but they could see Ameer Abdullah as the best player available at this juncture. It’s not like Atlanta has anything solid at the position.

  11. Cleveland Browns: Maxx Williams, TE, Minnesota
The Browns officially lost Jordan Cameron, who bolted for Miami because he didn’t like what was happening in Cleveland. Hopefully the Browns’ new tight end is more optimistic.

  12. New Orleans Saints: Stephone Anthony, ILB, Clemson
More upgrades for the Saints’ defense. The team needs a major boost in the middle of its stop unit, as Curtis Lofton was a major disappointment for them.

  13. Minnesota Vikings: Shaq Thompson, LB, Washington
Chad Greenway has regressed in the past couple of years, so it wouldn’t hurt the Vikings if they found another linebacker to go along with Anthony Barr and Gerald Hodges. Shaq Thompson is overrated; the media has him in the first round, but teams rate him as a second-round prospect. However, he fits the range at this pick.

  14. San Francisco 49ers: Nelson Agholor, WR, USC
The 49ers are really hurting for receiving help. Michael Crabtree, a huge disappointment this past year, will probably be gone this offseason. Anquan Boldin played well, but he can’t possibly perform at a high level much longer. Stevie Johnson proved to be a bust.

Pick change; previously Denzel Perryman, ILB

  15. Miami Dolphins: Laken Tomlinson, G, Duke
The Dolphins spent a lot of energy upgrading the tackle positions last offseason. Their offensive line was much better in 2014, but now they have to find help in the interior.

  16. San Diego Chargers: T.J. Yeldon, RB, Alabama
Ryan Mathews has left for Philadelphia, while Branden Oliver cooled off toward the end of the season following a hot start. With Mathews gone, the Chargers will have to find someone to complement Oliver.

  17. Kansas City Chiefs: Denzel Perryman, LB, Miami
Here’s some much-needed help for the interior of Kansas City’s defense, which took a beating last year in the wake of all the injuries. The inside linebacker position must be addressed.

Pick change; previously Sammie Coates, WR

  18. Buffalo Bills: Paul Dawson, LB, TCU
The Bills lost a fantastic defensive play-maker when they shipped Kiko Alonso off to Philadelphia. They need a replacement in the midde of their defense.

  19. Houston Texans: Sammie Coates, WR, Auburn
The Texans lost Andre Johnson to the Colts, so they’ll need a No. 2 wideout across from DeAndre Hopkins. Sammie Coates has issues with drops, but he has immense upside.

Pick change; previously Phillip Dorsett, WR

  20. Philadelphia Eagles: Eric Rowe, CB/S, Utah
Eric Rowe, whose stock has risen lately, is the type of impressive, tall athlete Chip Kelly likes having in his defense. The Eagles are obviously looking for a cornerback to help their putrid secondary.

Pick change; previously Nelson Agholor, WR

  21. Cincinnati Bengals: Carl Davis, DT, Iowa
Domata Peko didn’t play well this past year, so the Bengals may want to consider finding some help for the interior of their defensive line.

  22. Detroit Lions: Mario Edwards, DE/DT, Florida State
The Lions lost both Ndamukong Suh and Nick Fairley this offseason, so they’re in desperate need for help on the defensive line. They’ll have to address the position in the first two rounds this April.

  23. Arizona Cardinals: Marcus Peters, CB, Washington
Marcus Peters was dismissed from the team this past season. The Cardinals have taken chances on troubled players before, so perhaps they’d give Peters a shot. Peters, who has top-15 talent, could fill in for the departed Antonio Cromartie.

  24. Pittsburgh Steelers: Alex Carter, CB, Stanford
Cortez Allen was so bad against the Colts that he was actually trending on Twitter. Brice McCain is gone. Ike Taylor, meanwhile, was miserable in his return from injury. The Steelers are in desperate need of help at the cornerback position, and they’re getting a prospect who fits their scheme well.

Pick change; previously Eric Rowe, CB

  25. Carolina Panthers: Rashad Greene, WR, Florida State
The Panthers likely will select the top available player from the tackle or receiver position in the first few rounds. Those are their two big areas of need. They have to find someone to draw attention away from Kelvin Benjamin.

Pick change; previously Jeremiah Poutasi, OT/G

  26. Baltimore Ravens: Devin Funchess, TE, Michigan
The Ravens already lost Owen Daniels this offseason, and no one is sure if Dennis Pitta will be able to play this year, so the front office could be targeting a tight end early in the 2015 NFL Draft.

Pick change; previously Alex Carter, CB

  27. Denver Broncos: Benardrick McKinney, LB, Mississippi State
The linebacker position was already an issue for the Broncos prior to this offseason, but now they are moving to a 3-4 scheme. They need help there, so they could spend an early selection on the position.

  28. Dallas Cowboys: Damarious Randall, S, Arizona State
The Cowboys have major issues in their secondary, so it shouldn’t surprise anyone if they spend multiple picks on upgrades.

Pick change; previously Jay Ajayi, RB

  29. Indianapolis Colts: Quinten Rollins, CB, Miami of Ohio
Greg Toler performed well in the playoffs, but the Colts could use a better No. 2 corner. Quinten Rollins is another player whose stock is rising.

  30. Green Bay Packers: Xavier Cooper, DE/DT, Washington State
The Packers managed to re-sign both B.J. Raji and Letroy Guion – check the NFL Free Agent Signing Grades here – but they still need to address the defensive line at the five-technique position.

  31. Seattle Seahawks: Ali Marpet, OT/G, Hobart
The Seahawks could use some help on the offensive line to give Russell Wilson more time in the pocket. The rising Ali Marpet is a great fit for the blocking scheme.

Pick change; previously Danielle Hunter, DE/OLB

  32. New England Patriots: Josue Matias, G, Florida State
The Patriots have to improve their offensive line, especially the interior. Bill Belichick spent a selection last year on a Florida State blocker, so perhaps he’ll add another one.
