  1. Cleveland Browns: Tre’Quan Smith, WR, Central Florida
Given that the Browns don’t really have a reliable receiver on the roster outside of Jarvis Landry, they could spend multiple draft picks on wideouts.

  2. Los Angeles Rams: Shaun Dion Hamilton, LB, Alabama
The Rams just traded Alec Ogletree, so they’ll need some linebacker depth.

  3. Houston Texans: Roc Thomas, RB, Jacksonville State
The Texans could be moving on from Lamar Miller this offseason, so obtaining a running back late in the draft makes sense.

  4. Indianapolis Colts: Allen Lazard, WR, Iowa State
Donte Moncrief is as good as gone, but the Colts needed a new receiver across from T.Y. Hilton anyway.

  5. New York Jets: Tarvarus McFadden, CB, Florida State
After an atrocious combine, Tarvarus McFadden falls from the fourth to the sixth round. The Jets need to take multiple cornerbacks in the draft.

  6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jamarco Jones, OT, Ohio State
Jamarco Jones is another prospect whose stock has plummeted. The Buccaneers need as much offensive line help as possible.

  7. Chicago Bears: Daniel Jones, QB, Duke
Mike Glennon is gone, so the Bears could take a quarterback to develop into a No. 2 down the road.

Pick change; previously Daurice Fountain, WR

  8. Denver Broncos: Wyatt Teller, G, Virginia Tech
If the Broncos don’t select Quenton Nelson with the No. 5 overall pick, they’ll need to obtain an upgrade at guard later in the draft. And if they do, they could still stand to add some blocking depth.

  9. Los Angeles Rams: Jeff Holland, DE/OLB, Auburn
With Robert Quinn gone, the Rams will have to select multiple edge rushers in the draft.

  10. San Francisco 49ers: Taylor Hearn, G, Clemson
The 49ers have two stellar tackles, but they need multiple upgrades in the interior of the offensive line.

  11. Oakland Raiders: Dimitri Flowers, FB, Oklahoma
Jon Gruden discussed the importance of a fullback in his offense, so look for the Raiders to spend a third-day pick on one.

  12. Green Bay Packers: Brandon Facyson, CB, Virginia Tech
The Packers obviously are in desperate need for cornerback help and should use multiple selections on the position.

  13. Cincinnati Bengals: Cole Madison, G, Washington State
A third and much-needed offensive line upgrade for the Bengals, who desperately need to improve their blocking.

  14. Washington Redskins: Quenton Meeks, CB, Stanford
The Redskins lost Kendall Fuller in the Alex Smith trade, so they’ll have to add some cornerback depth on Day 3.

  15. New Orleans Saints: Josey Jewell, LB, Iowa
Alex Anzalone is a talented player, but has an extensive injury history. The Saints should add some insurance.

  16. Baltimore Ravens: Dylan Cantrell, WR, Texas Tech
Given Joe Flacco’s lack of weaponry, it should surprise no one if the Ravens add multiple receivers.

  17. Los Angeles Chargers: Joseph Noteboom, OT, TCU
The Chargers are another team that needs to add multiple prospects to a poor offensive line.

  18. Oakland Raiders: Armani Watts, S, Texas A&M
We’ll see if Obi Melifonwu pans out. I’m sure the Raiders will want some insurance just in case he doesn’t.

  19. Dallas Cowboys: Davontae Harris, CB, Illinois State
The Cowboys likely won’t have Orlando Scandrick back next year, so they’ll have to find a new cornerback.

  20. Los Angeles Rams: Levi Wallace, CB, Alabama
Despite acquiring Marcus Peters, the Rams still need another cornerback for depth purposes.

  21. Los Angeles Rams: Kameron Kelly, S, San Diego State
Los Angeles’ defense wasn’t the same when LaMarcus Joyner was out of the lineup. Adding some safety depth would make sense.

  22. Los Angeles Rams: Will Richardson, OT, N.C. State
Andrew Whitworth won’t be around for long, so the Rams will need to groom someone to replace him.

  23. Carolina Panthers: Michael Joseph, CB, Dubuque
The Panthers need as much cornerback help as possible for their ailing secondary.

  24. Miami Dolphins: Darren Carrington, WR, Utah
Jarvis Landry is gone, while DeVante Parker is a major question mark. The Dolphins need receiving help.

  25. Tennessee Titans: Timon Parris, G/OT, Stony Brook
As mentioned earlier, both of Tennessee’s starting guards are impending free agents, so multiple picks will have to be used on this area.

  26. Atlanta Falcons: Adam Breneman, TE, UMass
The Falcons cut Levine Toilolo, so they’ll likely spend a third-day pick on tight end depth.

  27. New Orleans Saints: Jamarcus King, CB, South Carolina
Teams are always looking for cornerback and edge-rushing depth. The Saints have yet to address the former position in this mock.

  28. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Ade Aruna, DE, Tulane
This is the second pick the Buccaneers are using on a defensive end, but that’s quite necessary, given their league-worst sack total.

  29. Jacksonville Jaguars: Ralph Webb, RB, Vanderbilt
The Jaguars cut Chris Ivory, so they might want to use a third-day pick on running back depth.

  30. Minnesota Vikings: Dominick Sanders, S, Georgia
The Vikings have two talented safeties, but lack much depth behind them. That needs to change.

  31. New England Patriots: Trevon Young, DE, Louisville
The Patriots put no pressure on Nick Foles. That must change if the Eagles and Patriots were to meet again in Super Bowl LIII.

  32. Philadelphia Eagles: Jack Cichy, LB, Wisconsin
Jack Cichy would be projected much earlier if he didn’t have injury concerns. The Eagles are known to take chances on these sort of players.

  33. Green Bay Packers: Frank Ginda, LB, San Jose State
The Packers could stand to add more linebacker help, or at the very least, someone to help on special teams.

Pick change; previously Daniel Jones, QB

  34. Dallas Cowboys: Cedrick Wilson, WR, Boise State
The Cowboys will have to double up on receivers if Dez Bryant leaves.

  35. Kansas City Chiefs: Jester Weah, WR, Pittsburgh
The Chiefs want to add as much receiving talent as possible to take advantage of Patrick Mahomes’ arm.

  36. Oakland Raiders: Matthew Thomas, LB, Florida State
Oakland’s linebacking corps is in shambles, so the team will have to add two players to the position.

  37. Houston Texans: Darius Phillips, CB, Western Michigan
The Texans are another team that will be looking to add multiple cornerbacks to fix their secondary.

  38. Oakland Raiders: Javon Wims, WR, Georgia
Michael Crabtree will likely be back next year, but 2018 could be his final season in Oakland.

  39. Minnesota Vikings: Cody O’Connell, G, Washington State
The Vikings have some free agent linemen who will be hitting the market, so here’s a depth fix.

  40. Houston Texans: Jamil Demby, G, Maine
Houston will need to make sure Deshaun Watson is protected as well as possible, and the offensive line isn’t looking so hot right now.

  41. Baltimore Ravens: Chris Herndon, TE, Miami
Maxx Williams hasn’t panned out, so the Ravens will be looking for a new tight end.

  42. Oakland Raiders: James Hearns, DE/OLB, Louisville
I’m sure the Raiders will be looking to add some pass-rushing help with one of their billion sixth-round compensatory picks.

  43. Oakland Raiders: Grant Haley, CB, Penn State
Here’s even more secondary help for the Raiders, who really need to attack this area during the offseason.

  44. Minnesota Vikings: Riley Ferguson, QB, Memphis
Even if the Vikings sign Kirk Cousins, it wouldn’t hurt for them to add a young quarterback to groom as a future No. 2.
