“It’s hard to beat a team twice in one year.” I’ve heard that sentiment leading up to this game, and it’s just not true. Teams that lost to an opponent are just 51-56 straight up against that same foe later in the season, dating back to 1994. Alabama has been a paper tiger all year, skating by on name recognition only. I’m not a Sooner supporter either, but I do think they’re better than Alabama.

As an aside, I still have four unpaid parking tickets from my visit to Tulane’s campus from 2012 when I was with my girlfriend Emily.
