Louisiana-Lafayette at Alabama.
Line: Alabama by 49.

Saturday, 12:00 p.m.

If this spread seems too large to you, note that Mississippi State beat Louisiana-Lafayette by 46 a couple of weeks ago. I’m going to continue betting on the Tide, as this is the best team Nick Saban has ever coached. Alabama would’ve covered last week had it not been for a back-door touchdown that occurred because of a horse-collar tackle.

College Football Pick: Alabama -49 -105 (3 Units) – Bovada — Incorrect; -$315

Florida State at Louisville.
Line: Florida State by 7.

Saturday, 3:30 p.m.

Florida State is a mess. The team has been obliterated each week whenever they’ve played viable opponents. Louisville hasn’t played well either, but the Cardinals should be able to hang with the disappointing Seminoles.

College Football Pick: Louisville +7 -115 (2 Units) – Bookmaker — Correct; +$200

Baylor at Oklahoma.
Line: Oklahoma by 23.

Saturday, 3:30 p.m.

Oklahoma has a dynamic offense, but its defense is atrocious. The Sooners can’t tackle at all, and as a result, opponents have been able to cover the spread against them. Baylor’s offense is decent enough to take advantage of this, so the Bears should be able to stay within the high number.

College Football Pick: Baylor +23 -105 (2 Units) – Bookmaker — Correct; -$210

Stanford at Notre Dame.
Line: Notre Dame by 5.

Saturday, 7:30 p.m.

The public is on Stanford, which I think is a mistake. The Cardinal was getting blown out at Oregon before the Ducks began committing sloppy turnovers. Notre Dame, conversely, struggled to put away Ball State and Vanderbilt, but new quarterback Ian Book was very impressive in last week’s win over a Wake Forest squad that has a good defense. I think Book will make the difference here as the Irish win by a touchdown or more.

College Football Pick: Notre Dame -5 (3 Units) – 5Dimes — Correct; +$300

Ohio State at Penn State.
Line: Ohio State by 4.

Sunday, 8:30 p.m.

This spread seems bizarre to me. Penn State has a history of pulling big upsets in night “White Out” games, and the Nittany Lions should be able to win this matchup. The Buckeyes, who had trouble putting TCU away on a neutral field, won’t have the best edge rusher in college football in Nick Bosa. These teams are close to even, so why one is favored by more than a field goal on the road without its top player is beyond me. The public is betting Ohio State, so it’s not like this is a trap either.
