Maryland at Michigan State.
Line: Michigan State by 15.

Saturday, 12:00 p.m.

As a disclaimer, don’t go nuts with my college football picks. I’m much better at picking NFL games (which is saying a lot). Follow @walterfootball for updates.

I’ve been going against the Spartans all year, so it’s time to do that once more for good measure. They’ve been overrated this entire time. Now, they’ll be flat as well. Maryland, meanwhile, might be 2-7, but the team is 6-3 against the spread. The Terps lost by just seven to Wisconsin last week, so it could hang with the Spartans.

College Football Pick: Maryland +15 (2 Units) — Incorrect; -$220

N.C. State at Florida State.
Line: Florida State by 10.

Saturday, 12:30 p.m.

Florida State is another team expected to be flat. Its playoff hopes are over in the wake of the loss to Clemson. N.C. State could play the Seminoles close regardless. They lost to Clemson by just 15, so the Wolfpack will hang around.

College Football Pick: N.C. State +10 (1 Unit) — Incorrect; -$110

Nebraska at Rutgers.
Line: Nebraska by 9.5.

Saturday, 3:30 p.m.

Nebraska did not deserve to beat Michigan State. The team knows it, too, so it could have the mind set of playing with house money here. Rutgers doesn’t look appealing, having lost its previous three games by a combined score of 146-33. However, the three opponents were Ohio State, Wisconsin and Michigan, so the Huskers are a step down in class. Plus, Rutgers will have its top receiver back in this game.

College Football Pick: Rutgers +9.5 (2 Units) — Incorrect; -$220

Minnesota at Iowa.
Line: Iowa by 12.5.

Saturday, 8:00 p.m.

I’m sorry, but just because a team is undefeated at this time of year doesn’t mean it’s one of the top squads in the country. The Hawkeyes are the most-overrated team in the country based on the playoff rankings, so I want to capitalize on that. Minnesota hung with Ohio State last week, so it should be able to do the same with Iowa.

College Football Pick: Minnesota +12.5 (1 Unit) — Correct; +$100

Wyoming at San Diego State.
Line: San Diego State by 24.

Saturday, 10:30 p.m.

I love to bet against college football teams that have quit, and it appears as though Wyoming, at 1-9, has thrown in the towel. San Diego State, meanwhile, has been playing well and is coming off a bye.

College Football Pick: San Diego State -24 (2 Units) — Correct; +$200
