Florida State at Louisville.
Line: Louisville by 4.5.

I almost picked the Seminoles over the Tar Heels last week, but I couldn’t quite pull the trigger. The computer model said Florida State was underrated, and that still is the case; the Seminoles should be -4.

Nebraska at Ohio State
Line: Ohio State by 27.5.

I loved it when Justin Fields fought hard for the Big Ten to play this year. It showed that he’s passionate about football, and given that he’s done nothing but watch Trevor Lawrence light it up this season, he’ll be looking to make a big impression on the Heisman voters, as well as the college football playoff committee. I think this spread is too short; it should be in the 30s.

Alabama at Tennessee.
Line: Alabama by 21.
Saturday, 3:30 p.m.
Tennessee has been a nice upstart team this season, but they’ve struggled against the big boys. Their quarterback is very erratic and will make lots of mistakes against Nick Saban’s defense. This is another 20-something spread that’s too short and should be in the 30s.

Penn State at Indiana.
Line: Penn State by 5.5.
Saturday, 3:30 p.m.
We have no data here because the Big Ten started its season too late, but the computer model thinks this spread should be Penn State -14. It seems as though the Nittany Lions should be the better team, so I’ll trust it.
College Football Pick: Penn State -5.5 -108 (2 Units) – Bookmaker — Incorrect; -$215
West Virginia at Texas Tech.
Line: West Virginia by 3.5.
Saturday, 5:30 p.m.
West Virginia is not a good football team. It had an ugly win versus Baylor and then failed to cover versus Kansas. The Mountaineers don’t deserve to be road favorites. Texas Tech is 0-3, but it has played just one home game and nearly beat Texas in that contest.
