Virginia at Virginia Tech.
Line: Virginia by 4.
Friday, 3:30 p.m.
Virginia Tech can become bowl eligible with a win, but they came into this season with greater aspirations. I doubt they want to be qualified for the SanDisk Boopaloopadoop Bowl in some midwestern city. Virginia Tech has quit in recent weeks, and I expect that to continue. This game means more to Virginia, as the Cavaliers haven’t beaten the Hokies since 2003. They should get it done this year.

College Football Pick: Virginia -4 (2 Units) – Bookmaker — Incorrect; -$220
Oklahoma at West Virginia.
Line: Oklahoma by 3.
Friday, 8:00 p.m.
As long as this spread is -3 or less, I like Oklahoma to win the big XII. Both teams are very defensively challenged, but with apologies to Will Grier, the Sooners are more explosive offensively and should be able to win this game.

Michigan at Ohio State.
Line: Michigan by 4.5.
Saturday, 12:00 p.m.
I wonder what this spread would have been had Ohio State not nearly lost to Maryland last week. The Buckeyes were simply looking ahead to this game, so they’ll play much better in this hated rivalry. This spread should be +3 at the most, so we’re getting good value with the home dog.
College Football Pick: Ohio State +4.5 -105 (3 Units) – Bovada — Correct; +$300
Maryland at Penn State.
Line: Penn State by 12.5.
Saturday, 3:30 p.m.
You have to question the motivation of Penn State, which is concluding this most disappointing season. Maryland, on the other hand, gets to play in a silly sponsored postseason exhibition game, which college players care about for some reason. The Terps have something to play for, and they’re good enough to cover the near-two touchdowns on the road.
College Football Pick: Maryland +12.5 +100 (2 Units) – Bookmaker — Incorrect; -$200
Notre Dame at USC.
Line: Notre Dame by 10.5.
Saturday, 8:00 p.m.
Notre Dame is so much better with Ian Book at quarterback. This one just seems easy. The Irish is so much better than USC. I know this is a rivalry, and that rivalries tend to be closer than most people think, but Notre Dame should dominate this game.
