What the hell is Tulsa doing as a favorite? They were blown out by Bowling Green, for crying out loud. Iowa State is 0-2, but was most recently competitive against Iowa. The Cyclones should be able to win this game.

I mentioned the following dynamic in this spot last week: “I love betting on very talented teams coming off byes that get to take on far inferior foes. It’s almost always a blowout.” Illinois isn’t a super power, but it dismantled Cincinnati two weeks ago. Miami of Ohio, sitting at 0-3, has lost by 30-plus to Marshall and Kentucky this season.

Arizona is too good to be getting double digits. I know the Wildcats haven’t had much competition yet, but I think it says a lot that they’ve been blowing out inferior competition. Lots of value with Arizona here.

Washington State is another Pac-12 team that isn’t getting the respect it deserves. I think the difference between these two teams is slimmer than 10 points on a neutral field. Like Arizona, the Cougars have been demolishing their competition.
