Tired of reading my opinions? Let’s see what everyone else has to say. We’ve compiled data from more than 1,000 NFL Mock Drafts on the Web and created a Consensus 2010 NFL Mock Draft. Click here to go to my 2010 NFL Mock Draft.

2010 Consensus NFL Mock Draft: Round 1, Picks 1-16

  1. San Francisco 49ers: Trent Williams, OT, Oklahoma – 13%
No surprises here – all offensive tackles and defensive backs for San Francisco. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the 49ers.

Quote from the Mock It Out 2.0 NFL Mock Draft:

The 49ers finish off an excellent first round by adding a bulldozer to the right side of their line.

    MISSING

  2. Pittsburgh Steelers: Earl Thomas, FS, Texas – 17%
Sixteen percent have the Steelers taking Bryan Bulaga and Trent Williams despite all the money Pittsburgh is paying to Max Starks and Willie Colon. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Steelers.

Quote from the Old King Cole NFL Mock Draft:

There’s talk the Steelers may franchise Clark or at least re-sign him, but they still could use a safety of the future. Earl is a more balanced safety than Berry, but less upside. Still he should fit nicely next to Polamalu.

  3. Atlanta Falcons: Donovan Warren, CB, Michigan – 15%
Donovan Warren wins out over Sean Weatherspoon. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Falcons.

Quote from the Blue NFL Mock Draft:

Warren is now rated higher than Spiller, so he gets to be the pick this time. Warren may or may not go this high, based on mixed reviews of his play, but he certainly has as much upside as Joe Haden and Atlanta has a huge need at corner.

  4. Houston Texans: Dan Williams, NT, Tennessee – 9%
The top two guys on this list are off the board, so that’s why Dan Williams at 9 percent wins this. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Texans.

Quote from the JMW NFL Mock Draft:

Houston needs help on their D-Line and I know it seems like thats all they draft, but Dan Williams was unblockable this year and had a GREAT senior bowl, he’s a very versatile guy that can play in a 3-4 or 4-3 scheme and the Texans would really have to consider him.

  5. Cincinnati Bengals: Jermaine Gresham, TE, Oklahoma – 23%
Jermaine Gresham easily wins this one. The other prospects are receivers. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Bengals.

Quote from the DSA Hawker NFL Mock Draft:

Bengals need a legit TE and additional offensive weapons. Gresham would fit the bill by being a TE and also an offensive weapon. Chad and Carson would like this pick.

  6. New England Patriots: Jerry Hughes, DE/OLB, TCU – 11%
Jerry Hughes is edged out, but the No. 1 guy on this list is off the board. It would be scary to see the No. 4 prospect join New England. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Patriots.

Quote from the Peter Stevenson NFL Mock Draft:

Hughes will be an edge rusher. Not great in the passing defense. He will be going after the QB with his speed all the time. The Patriots need to add more youth and talent to help out Mayo and get it with Hughes.

  7. Green Bay Packers: Charles Brown, OT, USC – 25%
Hilarious (and sad for Packer fans) that every single prospect in the top five is an offensive tackle. Hmm… does Green Bay need help there? Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Packers.

Quote from the TF-10s NFL Mock Draft:

Charles Brown is a perfect pick for the Packers. The packers pass protection really improved towards the end of last year, but they simply do not have much depth on the offensive line.

  8. Philadelphia Eagles: Carlos Dunlap, DE, Florida – 15%
Defensive end is a big need, and Andy Reid doesn’t put much stock into character. Carlos Dunlap was the winner. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Eagles.

Quote from the The Mrvl NFL Mock Draft:

The Eagles need to improve their pass rush off the edge. Dunlap is the perfect guy for the job. He falls this far because of his character flaws and because Al Davis fell in love with someone else. Andy Reid is unafraid to take a player with baggage so he wont hesitate to draft Dunlap if he is there.

  9. Baltimore Ravens: Damian Williams, WR, USC – 17%
The top four prospects here are all receivers. No surprise there. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Ravens.

Quote from the Jap Si NFL Mock Draft:

Ozzie Newsome has always drafted the best player available, and it looks like this year he could be filling a major need by doing just that. This pick ultimately comes down to who is higher on their draft board – Jermaine Gresham will prove a very good long term upgrade to Todd Heap, but I believe that not only does Damian Williams fill an even greater need at receiver, but that Baltimore may have him higher than Gresham on their board anyway. A fantastic route runner, Williams will ultimately replace Derrick Mason as the Ravens’ number 1 receiver and immediately help out a dubious WR group.

  10. Arizona Cardinals: Brandon Graham, DE, Michigan – 7%
Our lowest winner thus far; the top two most-mocked prospects are off the board. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Cardinals.

Quote from the Big Jay NFL Mock Draft:

Arizonas biggest need is for a LT. They drafted Levi Brown a couple years ago to be a RT when they thought Matt Leinart, a lefty, would be the QB of the future. Well he hasn’t been so far and Warner is suffering because of it. They would consider Charles Brown here but its unlikely as they want to commit to a power running attack and he is pretty lean for an OT. Outsider linebackers Haggans, Okeafor, and Berry are all 33 years old or older so they will definitely be upgrading with Graham who had a spectacular showing at the SB, showing a variety of pass-rushing moves and looking a lot like Broncos OLB Elvis Dumervil.

  11. Dallas Cowboys: Mike Iupati, G, Idaho – 20%
Based on e-mails I’ve received, I know Dallas fans won’t be pleased with the Nos. 2 and 3 prospects on this board. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Cowboys.

Quote from the Apex Assassin NFL Mock Draft:

Primary needs in order: OT,FS,NT,MLB,OG. Secondary needs in order: DE,CB,WR,SS. In an earlier mock I had the boys taking an OT, but the top 6 guys are gone. The Cowboys seem to be interested in Iupati though. Whether they put him at OG or OT, he will be an upgrade to Dallas’ OL. He still needs to improve his pass protection though. NT Cody & SS Mays are other options here.

  12. San Diego Chargers: Jonathan Dwyer, RB, Georgia Tech – 15%
No surprise that three of the top five guys being mocked to San Diego are running backs in the wake of LaDainian Tomlinson’s release. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Chargers.

Quote from the Six Timers NFL Mock Draft:

With the release of LT the Chargers need a big back to complement Darren Sproles Dwyer was a punishing and productive runner at Gtech gaining 1400 yards and 13 TDs.

    MISSING

  13. New York Jets: Jared Odrick, DE/DT, Penn State – 10%
There are so many different picks going to the Jets; it’s remarkable that a 10-percent mocked player is the highest on New York’s board. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Jets.

Quote from the Raven NFL Mock Draft:

The Jets don’t have many pressing needs. There defense was tops in the league last year, and their young offense is only going to get better. They do have some age at defensive end, and Marques Douglas is set to become a free agent, so Odrick, who can play defensive end in a 3-4, is a nice fit here.

  14. Minnesota Vikings: Terrence Cody, NT, Alabama – 9%
Believe it or not, Terrence Cody was the big winner here. All of the other guys were corners, so I guess they canceled each other out. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Vikings.

Quote from the Rooy NFL Mock Draft:

Vikings draft Mount Cody to replace the elder of the Williams Wall. This big boy will fill the middle quite nicely and literally.

  15. Indianapolis Colts: Sean Weatherspoon, OLB, Missouri – 19%
The Colts usually draft offense, but Sean Weatherspoon would undoubtedly be an interesting addition to the defense. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Colts.

Quote from the C-Morgs NFL Mock Draft:

This may seem like a shot in the dark, but Brackett’s on the market, and even if he comes back, he’s over 30. Weatherspoon is as classy as they come, and the Colts know value when they see it.

  16. New Orleans Saints: Jason Pierre-Paul, DE, South Florida – 4%
This will happen in a consensus mock draft. Jason Pierre-Paul was among the leaders in a few spots, but was never the top guy. So, he slipped all the way to the Saints. I’ve made it clear that I’m not a big fan of JPP, but even I’ll admit that he’s a hell of a bargain down at No. 32. Click here to see what other 2010 NFL Draft Prospects are being mocked to the Saints.

Quote from the Boston Faded NFL Mock Draft:

I think Pierre-Paul will fall because he only had 1 good year and no one knows if he will continue to improve. If he does continue to get better than NO got a hell of a player. NO needs another DE to step in for Charles Grant who probably wont be back
