17. Cincinnati Bengals: Nick Emmanwori, S, South Carolina
The Bengals need a true replacement for Jesse Bates.
Emmanwori had 83 tackles, two passes broken up, and four interceptions with two returned for a touchdown. He had an interception returned for a touchdown against Kentucky, another returned for a score against Oklahoma, and had a 102-yard touchdown pick-six that had the return whipped out on a suspect penalty versus LSU. Emmanwori (6-3, 220) is a huge safety with rare coverage ability for a player that big. He has been a steady contributor for the Gamecocks for the past two seasons. In 2023, he had 71 tackles, 10 passes broken up, and two interceptions in 11 games. The previous season, he totaled 85 tackles as a freshman. Emmanwori is a freak athlete with instincts and speed and can flash some physicality.
18. Seattle Seahawks: Tyler Booker, G, Alabama
Seattle could use more talent on the offensive line. Here is a road grader and interior protector upgrade for the Seahawks.
In his second season as a starter with the Crimson Tide, Booker (6-5, 325) has turned into a dominant performer up front who consistently wins his blocks in impressive fashion. As a pass protector, Booker has no issues stonewalling bullrushes and mirroring speed rushers. Booker is a beast and extremely strong as a run blocker. He constantly generates movement at the point of attack and drives defenders out of their gap in a violent fashion. The powerful Booker can get a serious push at the line with brute physicality and power. He is a people mover in the ground game and looks like a plug-and-play starter at guard in the NFL.
19. Detroit Lions: Jordan Burch, DT, Oregon
TRADE! Detroit moves up in a trade with Houston. The Lions could use more rotational edge rush talent and defensive line depth. Za’Darius Smith, and Josh Paschal will be in the last year of their contracts in 2025. Here’s a power edge rusher to go with Aidan Hutchinson.
Burch has been a talented player for years but inconsistent. In 2024, he put it all together with 31 tackles, five passes batted, one forced fumble, and 8.5 sacks. The 6-foot-6, 295-pounder has good height, length, quickness, and athleticism. In 2023, he had 34 tackles with three sacks. The previous season he had 60 tackles with 3.5 sacks.
20. Washington Redskins: Emeka Egbuka, WR, Ohio State
TRADE! Washington moves up in a trade with Tampa Bay. The Commanders could use more young receiving talent for Jayden Daniels.
In 2023, Egbuka had 65 catches for 824 yards and nine touchdowns. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder turned in 74 receptions for 1,151 yards and 10 touchdowns in 2022. He emerged as a potential No. 1 receiver or really good No. 2 wideout. At other schools, Egbuka would have had an even bigger year, but he was the No. 2 receiver for Ohio State across from Marvin Harrison Jr. While injuries were a factor in 2023, Egbuka needs a bounce-back season in 2024 as he looked much faster in 2022 compared to his 2023 performance. Thus far in 2024, Egbuka has 70 catches for 896 yards and 10 touchdowns.
21. Arizona Cardinals: Shemar Turner, DT, Texas A&M
TRADE! Arizona moves down in a trade with the Steelers. Arizona could use more defensive line talent to pair with Darius Robinson.
Turner had 36 tackles, two sacks, and a forced fumble thus far. He has been solid but not dominant. Some team sources say that Turner’s instincts are just okay, he doesn’t know how to use his hands, isn’t overly explosive, and needs to get stronger. Other sources say that Turner is too twitched up to get out of the second round. Turner (6-3, 289) had a strong 2023 season for the Aggies, recording 33 tackles with six sacks and two forced fumbles.
22. Denver Broncos: Isaiah Bond, WR, Texas
Denver could use more weapons for Bo Nix.
Bond has 33 receptions for 532 yards and five touchdowns. Team sources think Bond is a late first-round or early second-round talent. The 5-foot-11, 182-pounder has dangerous speed to challenge defenses deep downfield and is a threat to score on any catch. Bond flashed ability with Alabama in 2023, snatching 48 passes for 668 yards and four touchdowns.
23. Los Angeles Rams: Shavon Revel, CB, East Carolina
The Rams could use more cornerback talent, and a true replacement for Jalen Ramsey.
In 2024, Revel had two interceptions, two passes broken up, and eight tackles. He played in three games before suffering a torn ACL in practice to end his season. Revel (6-2, 188) is a big cornerback that has impressive speed and athleticism for a big cornerback. In 2023, he had 55 tackles with 12 passes broken up and one interception.
24. Los Angeles Chargers: Alfred Collins, DE, Texas
The Chargers could use some young talent for the defensive line.
Collins has 53 tackles, one sack, and six passes batted thus far. While Collins is not a sack producer, he does contribute to the rush by getting a push into the pocket. Collins is strong, physical, and very tough as a run defender. The 6-foot-5, 315-pounder is versatile to play outside or inside and a variety of techniques. In 2023, Collins collected 22 tackles, two sacks, and two passes defended.
25. Green Bay Packers: Benjamin Morrison, CB, Notre Dame
The Packers could use more youth at cornerback.
In 2024, Morrison had 20 tackles and three passes broken up in six games before a hip injury ended his season. In 2023, Morrison totaled 31 tackles, three interceptions, and 10 passes defended. He performed well against Ohio State, helping limit Marvin Harrison Jr. and Emeka Egbuka. Morrison was a freshman sensation in 2022, recording 33 tackles, six interceptions, and five passes defended. The 6-foot, 185-pounder has talent and upside.
26. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jihaad Campbell, LB, Alabama
TRADE! Tampa Bay moves down in a trade with Washington. The Bucs could use help at linebacker and also more edge rush. Here’s a player that helps them with both issues.
The 6-foot-3, 244-pound Campbell is a big linebacker with speed and athleticism to go with his size. Campbell showed versatility by dropping into coverage, defending the run well, and rushing the passer. In 2024, he had 108 tackles with five sacks, two forced fumbles, one interception, and two passes broken up. Campbell looks like a first-round talent for the 2025 NFL Draft.
27. Baltimore Ravens: Jalon Walker, OLB, Georgia
Baltimore could use more edge rush talent to help their vulnerable pass defense.
Walker is a dangerous edge rusher for the Bulldogs, showing speed and athleticism off the edge. In 2024, he had 61 tackles with 6.5 sacks and two passes broken up. Walker had five sacks as a rotational player in 2023. The 6-foot-2, 245-pounder is too undersized to be a base edge rusher in the NFL, so he will have to be a linebacker that rotates to rush off the edge in the sub package.
28. New York Giants: Jalen Milroe, QB, Alabama
TRADE! The Giants move back into the first round in a trade with the Bills to get a quarterback to develop. Milroe is a great runner with a strong arm and some accuracy issues. That is similar to Josh Allen coming out of Wyoming, and New York head coach Brian Daboll has experience developing that kind of quarterback.
In 2024, Milroe completed 64 percent of his passes for 2,844 yards with 16 touchdowns and 11 interceptions. He had 20 rushing touchdowns as well. Milroe (6-2, 212) has an excellent skill set, a good arm, a strong build, and dangerous running ability with amazing speed. In his first season as a starter, Milroe improved as the season progressed, completing 66 percent of his passes for 2,834 yards with 23 touchdowns and six interceptions. He ran for 531 yards and 12 touchdowns with many clutch plays to get Alabama past Georgia in the SEC Championship and into the college football playoff.
As a passer, Milroe shows real potential with a powerful arm, and he can throw the ball accurately deep downfield. Milroe’s deep ball is phenomenal. He is also a dangerous running threat who can rip a defense with his legs. Milroe needs to improve his ability to read coverage, his knowledge of defenses, his communication, and develop his football I.Q. He also needs to get more accurate as a passer in the short to intermediate part of the field. Milroe is a hard worker and a good kid who is putting in a lot of time to get better.
29. Philadelphia Eagles: Malaki Starks, S, Georgia
The Eagles could target some help at safety.
Thus far in 2024, Starks had 77 tackles, three passes defended, and an interception. In 2023, Starks racked up 52 tackles, three interceptions, and seven passes defended. He recorded 69 tackles, two picks, and seven breakups in 2022. The 6-foot-1, 205-pounder’s size gives him versatility. Starks is a good coverage safety deep down the field, and also has some flexiblity to cover slot receivers.
30. Minnesota Vikings: Tyleik Williams, DT, Ohio State
The Vikings could use some young talent on the inside of their defensive line.
In 2024, Williams has 38 tackles and 2.5 sacks thus far. Williams flashed interior rush ability in 2021, putting up five sacks and 16 tackles. In 2023, he played solid football, recording 54 tackles, three sacks, and five passes defended. Williams (6-2, 290) made a number of impressive plays against Notre Dame, getting the better of left tackle Joe Alt.
31. Houston Texans: Josh Conerly Jr., OT, Oregon
TRADE! Houston moves down in a trade with Detroit. The Texans could use more offensive line talent. Here is a blocker that could help them at tackle or guard.
Conerly was an excellent pass protector at left tackle for the Ducks in 2023, allowing only one sack all season. Conerly showed quickness and athleticism on the edge to keep a clean pocket. It was only his first season as a starter, and it will be interesting to see if Conerly gets stronger and more forceful as a run blocker. Conerly has upside, and could get stronger as he matures while gaining more experience. Some team sources think Conerly should move inside to guard.
32. Kansas City Chiefs: Jonah Savaiinaea, OT, Arizona
The Chiefs need more offensive line talent. Trey Smith is likely to leave in free agency. Here’s a replacement for right guard.
Savaiinaea broke into the starting lineup at right tackle in 2022 and immediately was a solid contributor for the Wildcats. As a sophomore in 2023, Savaiinaea was even better teaming with Jordan Morgan to give Arizona an effective tackle tandem. Savaiinaea is not as good of an athlete as Morgan, but Savaiinaea is stronger, nastier, and looks to finish off defenders. Some area scouts are grading Savaiinaea on day two and think he should move inside to guard in the NFL. Other sources think he could be a late one and a good starting guard in the NFL.
2nd Round. Buffalo Bills: Nic Scourton, DE, Texas A&M
TRADE! The Bills moved down out of the first round in a trade with the Giants. The Bills could target more defensive line talent to go next to Ed Oliver as Von Miller is not a long-term player.
In 2024, Scourton had 37 tackles with five sacks and one forced fumble. While playing at Purdue in 2023, Scourton broke out with 50 tackles, 10 sacks, one forced fumble and three passes defended. The 6-foot-4, 280-pounder showed impressive quickness and athleticism for a big-bodied defensive lineman. After the season, Scourton transferred to Texas A&M.
