  1. Chicago Bears: Kelee Ringo, CB, Georgia Georgia
Pick a position outside of quarterback and running back, and the Bears have a need at that spot. Their cornerbacks are horrible outside of Jaylon Johnson.

A huge cornerback with lots of upside, Kelee Ringo performed well in place of Tyson Campbell.

  2. Houston Texans: Brandon Joseph, CB, Notre Dame Notre Dame
The Texans need a better cornerback across from last year’s first-round pick, Derek Stingley.

Brandon Joseph is a turnover machine as a cornerback with great instincts.

Pick change; previously Cam Mitchell, CB

  3. Arizona Cardinals: Cody Mauch, G, North Dakota State North Dakota State
The Cardinals are stuck with Kyler Murray and his torn ACL, so they’ll need to find better players to protect him.

Team sources told Charlie Campbell that Cody Mauch could be this year’s version of Cole Strange.

  4. Denver Broncos: Zacch Pickens, DT, South Carolina
The Broncos could stand to add to their defensive line so they improve against the run.

Zacch Pickens had a great ’21 campaign. He has plus size, quickness and athleticism.

Pick change; previously Josh Proctor, S

  5. Denver Broncos: Hendon Hooker, QB, Tennessee
Russell Wilson has been a disaster thus far. The Broncos will give him another chance next year because they don’t really have a choice, but they’ll need to find a young replacement in case Wilson is awful once again in 2023.

Hendon Hooker is a dual-threat quarterback enjoyed a great season for Tennessee. The top downside prior to his torn ACl was that he’ll turn 25 prior to the draft. The ACL is a concern for the short term, but not for the team drafting him in this situation.

  6. Los Angeles Rams: Kenny McIntosh, RB, Georgia
The Rams seem generally unhappy with all of their running backs, though Cam Akers finally showed signs of life on Christmas and onward.

Kenny McIntosh flashed in a relief role prior to the ’22 season. He’s an excellent receiver.

  7. Las Vegas Raiders: Emmanuel Forbes, CB, Mississippi State Mississippi State
The Raiders have a poor pass defense, so they must find better cornerback play. They could double up on the position.

Emmanuel Forbes is a feast-or-famine cornerback.

Pick change; previously Brandon Joseph, CB

  8. New Orleans Saints: Gervon Dexter, DT, Florida Florida
What happened to New Orleans’ pass rush? The Saints are getting no pressure on opposing quarterbacks.

Gervon Dexter is a lengthy defensive lineman with plus quickness and strength.

  9. Tennessee Titans: Mekhi Garner, CB, LSU LSU
The Titans have major issues stopping the pass, so they could stand to add another cornerback.

Mekhi Garner is a tall cornerback with good instincts.

  10. Houston Texans: Dontayvion Wicks, WR, Virginia
I expect the Texans to double up on receivers. They really need to completely retool the entire group.

Dontayvion Wicks is a lengthy receiver who broke out during his ’21 season.

  11. New York Jets: Jammie Robinson, S, Florida State
The Jets struggle to defend the middle of the field, so they’ll be interested in a second-day safety.

Jammie Robinson has been a solid run defender for Florida State.

  12. Atlanta Falcons: Sikai Ika, NT, Baylor
The Falcons are poor against the run, so they’ll need some personnel to help in that regard.

Sikai Ika is a massive nose tackle who can apply a bit of pressure on the quarterback.

  13. New England Patriots: Nick Broeker, OT/G, Ole Miss
The Patriots have some major offensive line issues that must be addressed, so they could double up in this area.

Nick Broeker may have to switch to guard in the NFL.

  14. Miami Dolphins: Nolan Smith, DE, Georgia Georgia
The Dolphins need to bolster their pass rush despite acquiring Bradley Chubb.

Nolan Smith needs to get stronger, but he has great speed off the edge.

Pick change; previously Jammie Robinson, S

  15. Green Bay Packers: Dalton Kincaid, TE, Utah Iowa State
The Packers could stand to add another weapon – one who offers an upgrade over Robert Tonyan.

Dalton Kincaid is an athletic receiver who runs good routes.

  16. Indianapolis Colts: Josh Proctor, S, Ohio State Ohio State
Rodney McLeod will turn 33 a couple of months following the 2023 NFL Draft, so the Colts could target a safety in the early rounds.

Josh Proctor missed most of the ’21 season with a fractured leg, but has great ability.

Pick change; previously Zach Harrison, DE

  17. Pittsburgh Steelers: Jonathan Mingo, WR, Ole Miss Mississippi
The Steelers love finding wide receiver gems on Day 2 of the NFL Draft. It’ll be interesting to see whom the Steelers will draft to replace Chase Claypool.

Jonathan Mingo is a huge receiver who runs great routes and can generate good yards after the catch.

  18. Detroit Lions: Malik Cunningham, QB, Louisville Texas
The Lions may want a quarterback to groom behind Jared Goff.

Malik Cunningham is a dual-threat quarterback with plenty of upside.

  19. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: B.J. Ojulari, DE/OLB, LSU LSU
The Buccaneers could stand to add another pass rusher, as they need depth in case Shaq Barrett gets hurt again.

B.J. Ojulari did a great job of taking over for the injured Ali Gaye in 2021.

  20. Seattle Seahawks: Habukkuk Baldanado, DE, Pittsburgh Pittsburgh"
The Seahawks must improve their ability to get to the quarterback, so here’s another defensive lineman for them.

Habukkuk Baldanado is a huge disruptor in the trenches.

  21. Miami Dolphins: Eli Ricks, CB, Alabama Alabama
The Dolphins could use more help with their poor pass defense.

Eli Ricks is a 6-2 cornerback who had a breakout ’21 season for Alabama.

Pick change; previously Emmanuel Forbes, CB

  22. Los Angeles Chargers: Jarrick Bernard-Converse, CB, LSU LSU
The Chargers haven’t been able to stop the pass because of some shoddy cornerback play this year.

Jarrick Bernard-Converse has good size, quickness and athleicism.

  23. Baltimore Ravens: Julian Brents, CB, Kansas State
The Ravens need to think about getting younger at cornerback.

Julian Brents is a 6-3 cornerback who is a hard tackler.

  24. Minnesota Vikings: Max Duggan, QB, TCU
The Vikings could stand to draft a quarterback to eventually challenge for the starting job.

Max Duggan is a smart and tough quarterback who has a better arm than people give him credit for.

  25. Jacksonville Jaguars: Chris Rodriguez, RB, Kentucky Kentucky
Travis Etienne isn’t very good at the goal line, so the Jaguars might want a power-back complement for him.

Chris Rodriguez is a power back who gets nice yards after contact.

  26. New York Giants: Dontay Demus Jr., WR, Maryland
The Giants are desperate for receiving help, so they could stand to double up on the position.

Dontay Demus Jr. suffered a season-ending torn ACL in October 2021, but could still be a first-round pick because of his size (6-3) and athleticism.

  27. Dallas Cowboys: Storm Duck, CB, North Carolina North Carolina
Dallas should try to find an upgrade over Anthony Brown as the starter across from Trevon Diggs.

Advance scouts were high on Storm Duck’s ability, but he disappointed on tape.

  28. Cincinnati Bengals: Anthony Johnson, CB, Virginia Florida
The Bengals could stand to add some cornerback depth to help defend the Buffalo and Kansas City passing attacks.

Anthony Johnson is a big cornerback who needs to show that he’s agile enough to run with speed receivers.

Pick change; previously Eli Ricks, CB

  29. Carolina Panthers: Amari Burney, LB, Florida Florida
The Panthers missed Hasson Reddick this season, so they could use a linebacker who can play all over the field.

Amari Burney has excellent coverage skills.

  30. Buffalo Bills: Micah Baskerville, LB, LSU
Buffalo’s defense always takes a bit hit when Matt Milano is out of the lineup.

Micah Baskerville is a fast linebacker who can defend the run well.

  31. Kansas City Chiefs: Tyler Davis, DT, Clemson
The Chiefs need to improve their pass rush so that they don’t have to blitz as often versus quarterbacks like Joe Burrow.

Tyler Davis doesn’t have great upside, but he’s been a disruptive force in the interior of the defensive line.

  32. Philadelphia Eagles: Josh Downs, WR, North Carolina
Quez Watkins has screwed up too much, so the Eagles need to find a better slot receiver.

Josh Downs projects as a speedy slot receiver.
