  1. Detroit Lions: Roger McCreary, CB, Auburn
Jeff Okudah looks like a bust thus far, but even if he pans out, the Lions still need cornerback help for their horrendous secondary.

Roger McCreary is only 5-11, but he has amazing coverage skills.

  2. Houston Texans: C.J. Verdell, RB, Oregon
Bill O’Brien may disagree, but it’s a sad state of affairs to have Rex Burkhead as your lead back. The Texans need someone new to complement their next franchise quarterback.

C.J. Verdell is a 200-pound back with explosive ability and plus catching skills. It didn’t take him very long to win the starting job as a redshirt freshman.

  3. Jacksonville Jaguars: John Metchie, WR, Alabama
Laviska Shenault and Marvin Jones have been major disappointments this year, so the Jaguars will want to find another receiver to pair with D.J. Chark.

John Metchie has a tendency to make big plays for Alabama’s offense.

  4. Seattle Seahawks: Terrell Bernard, LB, Baylor
The Seahawks have struggled to defend the middle of the field this year, as Bobby Wagner has seemingly lost a step.

Terrell Bernard has three-down starting potential for the NFL.

  5. New York Jets: Zamir White, RB, Georgia
Michael Carter looks like a solid running back, but I’m sure the Jets will want to find a better complement for him.

Zamir White has been an impressive back in Georgia’s committee this year.

  6. New York Giants: Charlie Kolar, TE, Iowa State
Evan Engram has been the subject of trade rumors, so the Giants will need to find a new tight end if Engram is moved.

Charlie Kolar is a quality route runner who has nice hands.

  7. Chicago Bears: Demarvioun Overshown, LB, Texas
Danny Trevathan is an aging player who will need to be replaced soon.

Demarvioun Overshown was flying all over the field in Texas’ impressive Week 1 win versus Louisiana.

  8. Jacksonville Jaguars: Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia
The Jaguars really struggle to defend the middle of the field, so they need to find upgrades for their linebacking corps.

Nakobe Dean is an athletic and instinctive linebacker.

  9. Philadelphia Eagles: LaBryan Ray, DT, Alabama
Fletcher Cox has entered his 30s, so the Eagles may want to think about finding a successor.

LaBryan Ray flashed a bit alongside Quinnen Williams and now has a larger role on Alabama.

  10. New York Giants: James Skalski, LB, Clemson
The Giants’ linebacking corps is starved for talent aside from Blake Martinez.

James Skalski is a solid player, but could use a nice combine to show teams that he has greater upside.

  11. Houston Texans: George Pickens, WR, Georgia
The Texans will need to find multiple new receivers soon, given their lack of talent at the position.

George Pickens had an amazing freshman season, but took a step backward in 2020 with worse quarterbacking. He has nice size (6-3), tremendous athleticism and a wide catch radius.

  12. Atlanta Falcons: Zay Flowers, WR, Boston College
The Falcons have no idea if Calvin Ridley will ever play for them again. They needed receiver help even when he was playing.

Zay Flowers is a 5-10 receiver, but he has game-breaking speed.

  13. Minnesota Vikings: Travis Jones, NT, Connecticut
Michael Pierce hasn’t been able to stay healthy. The Vikings must improve against the run.

  14. Indianapolis Colts: Akayleb Evans, CB, Tulsa
The Colts have a weak cornerback group, which will get much worse when Xavier Rhodes leaves.

Akayleb Evans has good speed and athleticism to go along with his 6-1 frame.

  15. Cleveland Browns: Ali Gaye, DE, LSU
The Browns need to improve their pass rush outside of Myles Garrett.

Ali Gaye has huge upside, but hasn’t quite lived up to it yet at LSU.

  16. Pittsburgh Steelers: John Ridgeway, DT, Arkansas
The Steelers haven’t been as strong against the run this season.

John Ridgeway has a nice combination of size and speed.

  17. Denver Broncos: Henry To’o To’o, LB, Alabama
The Broncos need some help defending the middle of the field, so they’re expected to target a linebacker.

  18. Las Vegas Raiders: Jalen Tolbert, WR, South Alabama
The Raiders need a new downfield threat in the wake of Henry Ruggs’ arrest.

Jalen Tolbert has shown some big -play ability, but level of competition is obviously a question mark.

  19. Washington Redskins: Myles Jones, CB, Texas A&M
The Redskins’ secondary has been a huge disappointment this year, so they must address it this offseason.

Myles Jones is a 6-3 cornerback, but needs to pack on some muscle onto his frame.

  20. Los Angeles Chargers: Daniel Faalele, OT, Minnesota
Bryan Bulaga hasn’t been able to stay healthy, so the Chargers may draft his replacement.

Daniel Faalele has massive size at 379 pounds, but he has shocking quickness and athleticism for someone his size.

Pick change; previously Will Mallory, TE

  21. Miami Dolphins: Kyler Gordon, CB, Washington
Xavien Howard always seems to be the subject of trade rumors, so the Dolphins could obtain a cornerback early in the 2022 NFL Draft.

Kyler Gordon is a solid cornerback, though he doesn’t get many turnovers.

  22. Cincinnati Bengals: Josh Thompson, CB, Texas
The Bengals could stand to add some talent at cornerback to defend the gifted recievers in the AFC North.

Josh Thompson doesn’t have great ball skills, but he covers well.

  23. Buffalo Bills: Juanyeh Thomas, S, Georgia Tech
The Bills have a couple of safeties in their 30s, so they may want a young player at the position.

Juanyeh Thomas has nice speed and athleticism.

  24. Denver Broncos: Bubba Bolden, S, Miami
The Broncos will need to find a long-term replacement for Kareem Jackson.

  25. Dallas Cowboys: Coby Bryant, CB, Cincinnati
Dallas’ secondary looked weak in the Thanksgiving loss to the Raiders.

Coby Bryant made some clutch shots, I mean interceptions during the 2020 season. He has some speed concerns.

  26. Kansas City Chiefs: Ventrell Miller, LB, Florida
The Chiefs have endured issues at linebacker for quite some time.

Ventrell Miller is a fast linebacker who has become a nice play-maker in Florida’s defense.

  27. Tennessee Titans: Desmond Ridder, QB, Cincinnati
The Titans will need to think about finding a long-term replacement for Ryan Tannehill at some point.

Desmond Ridder has impressed this year. He has shown an improved ability to work through progression, and he’s good at using his feet to extend plays.

  28. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Quay Walker, LB, Georgia
Lavonte David doesn’t have many years left, so the Buccaneers could add another linebacker.

Quay Walker has potential, but hasn’t quite lived up to it.

  29. New England Patriots: Wan’Dale Robinson, WR, Kentucky
The Patriots need to give Mac Jones more receiving talent.

    Wan’Dale Robinson has game-breaking speed.

  30. Green Bay Packers: MoMo Sanogo, LB, Ole Miss
The Packers could stand to upgrade the middle of the field with a mid-round selection on a linebacker.

  31. Baltimore Ravens: D’Vonte Price, RB, Florida International
We’ve learned that the Ravens don’t have the best depth at running back behind J.K. Dobbins and Gus Edwards.

D’Vonte Price has a nice combination of size and quickness.

  32. Arizona Cardinals: Zion Johnson, G, Boston College
The Cardinals could stand to add to their offensive line to protect Kyler Murray.

Zion Johnson played tackle at Boston College, but his size and length limitations may force him to guard.
