  1. Atlanta Falcons: Amare Barno, DE, Virginia Tech
The Falcons haven’t possessed a potent edge rusher in a long while. They can begin to bolster their defense by finding one.

NFL advance scouts were impressed with Amare Barno’s 2020 tape that saw him accumulate 6.5 sacks.

  2. Detroit Lions: Akayleb Evans, CB, Missouri
The Lions need some cornerback help across from Jeff Okudah, or perhaps a replacement for him in the future.

Akayleb Evans has good speed and athleticism to go along with his 6-1 frame.

  3. Jacksonville Jaguars: R.J. Roderick, S, South Carolina
Here’s more help for the Jaguars, who need upgrades all over their defense.

NFL advance scouts have been very impressed with R.J. Roderick, according to Charlie Campbell.

Pick change; previously Phidarian Mathis, DT

  4. Houston Texans: John Metchie, WR, Alabama
Will Fuller is gone, while Brandin Cooks is a ticking time bomb. The Texans are desperate for receiver help.

John Metchie has a tendency to make big plays for Alabama’s offense.

  5. New York Giants: Ed Ingram, G, LSU
The interior offensive line is still a weakness for the Giants, so this is a way to give Daniel Jones more help.

Ed Ingram is a tough run blocker who has displayed some athleticism.

  6. Minnesota Vikings: Jayden Daniels, QB, Arizona State
The Vikings could use this pick to replace the overpaid Kirk Cousins. I’m not a believer in Kellen Mond, who was unimpressive in the preseason for the most part.

Jayden Daniels has nice upside and could be a second-round selection.

  7. New York Jets: Zakoby McClain, LB, Auburn
The Jets have been weak at linebacker for quite some time, so here’s an upgrade.

Zakoby McClain is a tackling machine who needs to improve his pass coverage.

  8. Cincinnati Bengals: Demarvioun Overshown, LB, Texas
The Bengals have needed linebacker help since Vontaze Burfict left the team.

Demarvioun Overshown was flying all over the field in Texas’ impressive Week 1 win versus Louisiana.

  9. Chicago Bears: Myles Jones, CB, Texas A&M
The Bears have some serious problems at cornerback after losing Kyle Fuller this offseason.

Myles Jones is a 6-3 cornerback, but needs to pack on some muscle onto his frame.

  10. New York Jets: Isaiah Spiller, RB, Texas A&M
The Jets waited until the fifth round to take a running back, so they could address that need with this pick.

Isaiah Spiller rushed for 1,036 yards and nine touchdowns in 2020. He did OK as a receiver out of the backfield.

  11. Philadelphia Eagles: Terrell Bernard, LB, Baylor
The Eagles have one of the worst linebacking corps in the NFL that they need to address.

Terrell Bernard has three-down starting potential for the NFL.

  12. Las Vegas Raiders: Kenyon Green, G, Texas A&M
Despite selecting Alex Leatherwood in the opening round, the Raiders still need to improve their regressing offensive line.

Kenyon Green is a former five-star recruit tackle, but he may have to play guard at the next level.

  13. Philadelphia Eagles: Zay Flowers, WR, Boston College
I’ll be shocked if Jalen Reagor makes a big leap in 2021. I believe the Eagles will want to upgrade him.

Zay Flowers is a 5-10 receiver, but he has game-breaking speed.

Pick change; previously George Pickens, WR

  14. Dallas Cowboys: Smoke Monday, S, Auburn
The Cowboys continue to have huge problems in the secondary that they must address.

Smoke Monday has great tackling ability.

Pick change; previously R.J. Roderick, S

  15. New England Patriots: Josh Jobe, CB, Alabama
There are rumors that Stephon Gilmore could be traded, so here’s a potential replacement.

Josh Jobe is a big, athletic cornerback with tremendous upside.

  16. Miami Dolphins: James Skalski, LB, Clemson
The Dolphins will be looking for linebacker help after the Benardrick McKinney experiment failed.

James Skalski is a solid player, but could use a nice combine to show teams that he has greater upside.

  17. New Orleans Saints: Drake London, WR, USC
The Saints have needed a No. 2 receiver across from Michael Thomas for quite some time.

Drake London has mismatch size, and he could be in for a big 2021 season with other receivers gone.

Pick change; previously Zay Flowers, WR

  18. Pittsburgh Steelers: Daniel Faalele, OT, Minnesota
The Steelers lost four starting offensive linemen this offseason, so they’ll need to find some blocking help next spring.

Daniel Faalele has massive size at 379 pounds, but he has shocking quickness and athleticism for someone his size.

Pick change; previously Zion Nelson, OT

  19. Atlanta Falcons: Treylon Burks, WR, Arkansas
The Falcons will need a replacement for Julio Jones, so perhaps they can use Tennessee’s pick on another Alabama receiver.

Treylon Burks is a 6-foot-3 receiver with good speed.

  20. Green Bay Packers: Nakobe Dean, LB, Georgia
The Packers are weak at linebacker, so this is an area they’ll need to address soon.

Nakobe Dean is an athletic and instinctive linebacker.

  21. Washington Redskins: Carson Strong, QB, Nevada
The Redskins will use an early pick on a quarterback if Taylor Heinicke disappoints.

Carson Strong completed 70 percent of his passes in 2020, all while maintaining a 27:4 touchdown-to-interception ratio.

  22. Baltimore Ravens: George Pickens, WR, Georgia
The Ravens drafted Rashod Bateman in the first round, but they still could use another receiver.

George Pickens had an amazing freshman season. He has nice size (6-3), tremendous athleticism and a wide catch radius.

Pick change; previously Garrett Wilson, WR

  23. Denver Broncos: Henry To’o To’o, LB, Alabama
The Broncos have been looking for linebacker help for quite a while, so perhaps they’ll fix that issue with this pick.

Henry To’o To’o switched from Tennessee from Alabama, where Nick Saban will get the most out of his talents.

  24. Seattle Seahawks: D’Vonte Price, RB, Florida International
Rashaad Penny has been a failure, so the Seahawks could use an early selection on a running back sometime soon.

D’Vonte Price has a nice combination of size and quickness.

  25. Buffalo Bills: Ventrell Miller, LB, Florida
Tremaine Edmunds might be on his way out next offseason, so here’s a potential replacement.

Ventrell Miller is a fast linebacker who has become a nice play-maker in Florida’s defense.

  26. Los Angeles Chargers: Brenton Cox, DE/OLB, Florida
Melvin Ingram is gone, so the Chargers will need to find another edge rusher to start across from Joey Bosa.

Brenton Cox has a nice skill set and plenty of athleticism and upside.

  27. San Francisco 49ers: Bubba Bolden, S, Miami
Jaquiski Tartt is an impending free agent who may have to be replaced.

Bubba Bolden needs to bulk up for the NFL, but he could sneak into the first round.

Pick change; previously Jordan Battle, S

  28. Arizona Cardinals: LaBryan Ray, DT, Alabama
The Cardinals obtained J.J. Watt this offseason, but he’s obviously not a long-term solution on the defensive line.

LaBryan Ray flashed a bit alongside Quinnen Williams and now has a larger role on Alabama.

  29. Cleveland Browns: Jadon Haselwood, WR, Oklahoma
I don’t anticipate Odell Beckham Jr. being on the roster much longer, so the Browns could be interested in another receiver.

Jadon Haselwood is a large (6-2, 206) receiver who showcased his big-time play-making ability as a mere freshman.

  30. Los Angeles Rams: Charlie Kolar, TE, Iowa State
Much like the Jaguars, apparently, the Rams lost Gerald Everett, so he’ll need to be replaced.

Charlie Kolar is a quality route runner who has nice hands.

  31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Jalen Green, CB, Texas
Cornerback is the one weak group on Tampa Bay’s roster.

Jalen Green has shown great coverage ability in his first season as a starter.

Pick change; previously Master Teague, RB

  32. Kansas City Chiefs: Jalen Tolbert, WR, South Alabama
Sammy Watkins is gone, so the Chiefs will want to find a No. 2 receiver at some point.

Jalen Tolbert has shown some big -play ability, but level of competition is obviously a question mark.
