  1. Atlanta Falcons: LaBryan Ray, DT, Alabama
The Falcons were reportedly hoping to trade up for Javon Kinlaw, but they couldn’t get a deal done. They may target a defensive tackle early in the 2020 NFL Draft unless Marlon Davidson has a great rookie campaign.

LaBryan Ray flashed a bit alongside Quinnen Williams and now has a larger role on Alabama.

Pick change; previously Chazz Surratt, DE/OLB

  2. New York Giants: Kary Vincent Jr., CB, LSU
The Giants improved their secondary with James Bradberry, but they could still use some help at cornerback.

Kary Vincent Jr. is small (5-10), but he can be a solid slot corner at the next level.

Pick change; previously Caleb Farley, CB

  3. Jacksonville Jaguars: Jevon Holland, S, Oregon
The Jaguars now have to continue fixing their defense, which lost a ton of talented personnel recently.

Pick change; previously Trevon Moehrig, S

  4. Denver Broncos: Nick Bolton, LB, Missouri
The Broncos showed interest in an early linebacker in the 2020 NFL Draft, so that’s a position that could be addressed in 2021.

Nick Bolton is not a great athlete, but he’s made many nice plays for Missouri, particularly in coverage.

  5. Miami Dolphins: Travis Etienne, RB, Clemson
The Dolphins will need to upgrade Myles Gaskin, so here’s some running back help.

Travis Etienne is coming off a huge year in which he rushed for 1,572 yards. He should work to become a better receiver.

  6. New York Jets: Hamsah Nasirildeen, S, Florida State
The Jets dealt one of the top safeties in the NFL to the Seahawks. Here’s a potential replacement for Jamal Adams.

Hamsah Nasirildeen has nice upside and athleticism, but he needs to fill out.

Pick change; previously Jevon Holland, S

  7. Cincinnati Bengals: Quincy Roche, DE/OLB, Miami
The Bengals need to continue to assemble defensive talent to help them contain Lamar Jackson, which includes another pass rusher.

Quincy Roche needs to bulk up, but he has plenty of explosion of out of the snap.

  8. Philadelphia Eagles: Micah Parsons, LB, Penn State
The Eagles might have the worst linebacking corps I’ve seen in my 21 years of covering football.

Looking like the next great linebacker to come out of Penn State, Micah Parsons has been very productive. That’s not a surprise, as Parsons was a highly athletic five-star recruit.

  9. Los Angeles Chargers: Trey Hill, C, Georgia
Here’s more offensive line help for the Chargers. It’s difficult to trust Mike Pouncey.

Trey Hill put himself on the first-round map when he handled Derrick Brown impressively in 2019.

  10. New Orleans Saints: Seth Williams, WR, Auburn
The Saints signed Emmanuel Sanders, but they need a second receiver for the long term.

Seth Williams (6-3, 224) has come out of nowhere to have a huge 2019 campaign.

Pick change; previously Rashod Bateman, WR

  11. Carolina Panthers: Trevon Moehrig, S, TCU
The Panthers need to continue to upgrade their woeful secondary.

Trevon Moehrig is a hybrid safety-linebacker who had an impressive 2019 season.

Pick change; previously Israel Mukuamu, CB

  12. Detroit Lions: Caden Sterns, S, Texas
The Lions could use a safety after trading Quandre Diggs to the Seahawks.

Caden Sterns emerged as a star for Texas’ defense as a freshman, picking off four passes. Unfortunately, he missed most of his sophomore campaign with a knee injury.

  13. Jacksonville Jaguars: Najee Harris, RB, Alabama
James Robinson is looking great, but the Jaguars may want to add another running back to their stable.

Najee Harris was one of the top recruits in the country in 2017, and he showed off his talents as a freshman. He’s been tremendous again this past season.

  14. Miami Dolphins: Patrick Jones, DE, Pittsburgh
The Dolphins need to upgrade their pass rush to give them a chance against Cam Newton and Josh Allen.

  15. Washington Redskins: Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami
The Redskins failed to find a replacement for Jordan Reed during the 2020 NFL Draft, so they’ll have to address that need next April.

Brevin Jordan looks to be the next great Miami tight end. He’s drawn comparisons to Evan Engram. He’s extremely fast.

  16. Indianapolis Colts: Dimitri Moore, LB, Vanderbilt
The Colts may be interested in adding some linebacking help around Darius Leonard.

Dimitri Moore was just a three-star recruit, but he has been a tremendous play-maker for Vanderbilt.

  17. San Francisco 49ers: Alec Lindstrom, C, Boston College
The 49ers were expected to target a center early in the 2020 NFL Draft, so they may pursue the position at this juncture.

The brother of Falcons guard Chris Lindstrom, Alec had an injury history early in his collegiate career but has seemingly overcome those.

  18. Las Vegas Raiders: Israel Mukuamu, CB, South Carolina
Here’s another cornerback for the Raiders, who need as much help as possible to defend Patrick Mahomes over the next 10 years.

Israel Mukuamu is a big cornerback (6-4, 205) who enjoyed a breakout sophomore campaign.

Pick change; previously Tyson Campbell, CB

  19. Dallas Cowboys: Merlin Robertson, LB, Arizona State
The Cowboys expressed interest in using a second-day pick on a linebacker, but the player they were interested in was chosen before they were on the clock.

Merlin Robertson was outstanding as a freshman in Herm Edwards’ defense.

  20. Cleveland Browns: Aidan Hutchinson, DE, Michigan
Olivier Vernon may not be on the roster much longer, so here’s a potential replacement.

Aidan Hutchinson is a much better defender than pass rusher.

  21. Baltimore Ravens: Thomas Booker, DE/DT, Stanford
Calais Campbell will be great for the short term, but here’s an answer for the long haul.

Thomas Booker, a former five-star recruit, is an agile defensive lineman who will fit into a 4-3 or 3-4.

  22. Arizona Cardinals: Chris Olave, WR, Ohio State
The Cardinals could use an early 2021 pick on a receiver if Larry Fitzgerald retires.

Chris Olave has a good mix of size (6-1, 185) and speed. He was a big play-maker at the end of 2019.

  23. New England Patriots: Tylan Wallace, WR, Oklahoma State
It shouldn’t surprise anyone if the Patriots double up on receivers, given the glaring need at the position.

Tylan Wallace doesn’t have great size and speed, but he runs routes very well. He tore his ACL in October 2019.

  24. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Mustafa Johnson, DT, Colorado
Ndamukong Suh may not be around for much longer, so the Buccaneers will be searching for another defensive tackle soon.

Mustafa Johnson broke out in 2018 after being a Juco transfer.

  25. Los Angeles Rams: Cade Mays, OT, Tennessee
There’s a chance Andrew Whitworth will retire after the 2020 season. That would make the Rams’ already-putrid offensive line even worse.

Cade Mays was a five-star recruit, and he has the potential to be an elite left tackle.

  26. Pittsburgh Steelers: Trey Smith, OT/G, Tennessee
Here’s a potential starter at right tackle if Zach Banner’s injury is very serious.

Despite being a freshman, Trey Smith was arguably Tennessee’s best player in 2017. He was considered a top prospect coming out of high school. He’s drawn rave reviews from scouts and should be a top-five pick

  27. Tennessee Titans: Rashod Bateman, WR, Minnesota
Corey Davis has been a disappointment for the most part thus far (though he was great in the 2020 opener.) If he doesn’t improve, the Titans could be hunting for a new receiver in a couple of years.

Rashod Bateman runs routes well, but there’s question about his ability to separate.

Pick change; previously T.J. Vasher, WR

  28. Chicago Bears: Chuba Hubbard, RB, Oklahoma State
David Montgomery has looked like a bust for the most part, so perhaps the Bears will be looking for a new running back.

Chuba Hubbard is projected as a second-round pick. He has great vision and instincts, and he can catch passes well out of the backfield.

  29. Buffalo Bills: Rondale Moore, RB/WR, Purdue
The Bills don’t really have any needs, so they can afford to use a second-round pick on a versatile weapon.

Rondale Moore is a very intriguing weapon. He accumulated 1,367 yards as a freshman by both running and receiving. Some NFL team is going to figure out a great way to use the extremely talented 175-pounder.

  30. Seattle Seahawks: Tyson Campbell, CB, Georgia
The Seahawks traded for Quinton Dunbar, but they still need another cornerback, especially if Dunbar gets into more off-the-field trouble.

Tyson Campbell is a very strong, physical cornerback with great size (6-2, 180).

Pick change; previously Kary Vincent Jr., CB

  31. Green Bay Packers: Tedarrell Slaton, NT, Florida
Raheem Mostert trampled the Packers in the NFC Championship, yet the front office did nothing about it.

Tedarrell Slaton is a massive nose tackle who causes lots of disruption.

  32. Kansas City Chiefs: Liam Eichenberg, OT, Notre Dame
Andy Reid loves bolstering the trenches, so he could add to Patrick Mahomes’ pass protection.

Liam Eichenberg took over at left tackle in the wake of Mike McGlinchey’s departure to the NFL.
