The order of this 2021 NFL Mock Draft is based on my NFL Power Rankings, adjusting for playoff seeding in the 19-32 range.

  1. Los Angeles Chargers: Carson Green, OT/G, Texas A&M
    The Chargers have made some nice upgrades to their offensive line this offseason, but they could use some better depth on their blocking unit.

  2. New York Jets: Aaron Banks, G, Notre Dame
    The Jets could stand to add some competition at guard in order to protect Zach Wilson.

    Aaron Banks is at his best as a run blocker, but he was also reliable as a pass protector in 2020.

  3. Atlanta Falcons: Thomas Graham Jr., CB, Oregon
    The Falcons have yet to address their poor cornerbacks, which is likely an oversight in this mock draft.

  4. New England Patriots: Anthony Schwartz, WR, Auburn
    The Patriots could add another receiver if they begin to have buyers’ remorse after overpaying two pedestrian players at the position.

  5. Philadelphia Eagles: Jaelen Darden, WR, North Texas
    The Eagles figure to add multiple receivers, given their issues at the position.

  6. Cincinnati Bengals: Josh Palmer, WR, Tennessee
    The Bengals no longer have A.J. Green, so they may want to find some receiving depth on Day 3.

  7. Denver Broncos: James Wiggins, S, Cincinnati
    The Broncos re-signed Kareem Jackson, but only to a 1-year deal. He’ll be in his mid-30s soon, so Denver will need to find a replacement in the near future.



  8. Dallas Cowboys: John Bates, TE, Boise State
    The Cowboys figure to obtain a tight end at some point on the third day of the draft.

  9. Carolina Panthers: Larry Rountree, RB, Missouri
    The Panthers lost Mike Davis, so they’ll need to find some help behind Christian McCaffrey.

  10. San Francisco 49ers: Darrick Forrest, S, Cincinnati
    The 49ers need some long-term help at safety, given their impending expiring contracts at the position.



  11. Houston Texans: Charles Snowden, DE, Virginia
    The Texans have a lackluster pass rush, which is one of countless things that must be addressed.

  12. New York Giants: Jahad Woods, LB, Washington State
    The Giants have depth issues at linebacker that must be considered on Day 3.

  13. New England Patriots: Naquan Jones, NT, Michigan State
    The Patriots haven’t addressed their defensive line depth yet, which they will do at some point.

  14. Los Angeles Chargers: Cameron Goode, LB, California
    The Chargers lost Denzel Perryman this offseason, so they’ll be looking for a new linebacker at some point.



  15. Minnesota Vikings: Elijah Blades, CB, Texas A&M
    Jeff Gladney has some legal issues right now, so the Vikings will want to find cornerback insurance at some point.

  16. Las Vegas Raiders: K.J. Costello, QB, Mississippi State
    It wouldn’t hurt to obtain a young quarterback to groom at some point.






  17. New York Giants: Tariq Castro-Fields, CB, Penn State
    The Giants signed Adoree Jackson, but they could still use some better cornerback depth.

  18. Cincinnati Bengals: Shakur Brown, CB, Michigan State
    The Bengals could use more cornerback depth to combat all of Pittsburgh’s receivers.

  19. Houston Texans: Jake Curhan, OT, California
    The Texans must protect either Deshaun Watson or Tyrod Taylor, so here’s some help for the offensive line.



  20. Chicago Bears: Kary Vincent Jr., CB, LSU
    The Bears have endured issues at slot cornerback ever since losing Bryce Callahan a couple of years ago.

  21. Tennessee Titans: Jose Borregales, K, Miami
    When asked about the kicker situation back in February, Mike Vrabel said, “We have to make more kicks.”




  22. Indianapolis Colts: Rakeem Boyd, RB, Arkansas
    The Colts may want to add to their running back depth in the wake of Marlon Mack’s departure.

  23. Kansas City Chiefs: Adetokunbo Ogundeji, DE, Notre Dame
    Teams can never have enough pass rushers. The Chiefs need to make sure they can pressure Josh Allen and Justin Herbert as much as possible.

  24. Miami Dolphins: Damar Hamlin, S, Pittsburgh
    The Dolphins are deep at cornerback, but could use some upgrades at safety.

  25. Los Angeles Rams: Demetric Felton, WR/RB, UCLA
    The Rams signed DeSean Jackson, but I don’t consider him a viable replacement for Josh Reynolds because of his age and extensive injury history.

    Demetric Felton is dynamic, versatile threat who is moving from running back to receiver.



  26. Baltimore Ravens: Jermar Jefferson, RB, Oregon State
    The Ravens lost Mark Ingram, so they’ll bring in another running back at some point.

  27. Cleveland Browns: Max Duffy, P, Kentucky
    The Browns had one of the worst punting units in the NFL last year, so they may want to upgrade this area.



  28. Houston Texans: Shawn Davis, S, Florida
    The Texans have a weak secondary, which is one of the many things they must address.

  29. Buffalo Bills: Dez Fitzpatrick, WR, Louisville
    A receiver to replace John Brown, just in case Emmanuel Sanders predictably disappoints.

  30. Green Bay Packers: Jake Funk, RB, Maryland
    The Packers lost Jamaal Williams this offseason, so they may want to add a third running back to their rotation.

  31. Tennessee Titans: Jared Goldwire, DE/DT, Louisville
    Here’s more defensive line help for the Titans, who really could use it.

  32. Pittsburgh Steelers: DeAngelo Malone, DE/OLB, Western Kentucky
    The Steelers lost Bud Dupree this offseason, so they’ll need to find a replacement at some point.

  33. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Sam Ehlinger, QB, Texas
    Tom Brady is the only quarterback on Tampa Bay’s roster, so that obviously must change.

  34. New Orleans Saints: Deommodore Lenoir, CB, Oregon
    The Saints lost Janoris Jenkins this offseason, so they need to add a cornerback at some point.

  35. Atlanta Falcons: Christian Uphoff, S, Illinois State
    The Falcons saw a couple of safeties depart this offseason, so they’ll have to add some talent to the position.

  36. Green Bay Packers: Malcolm Koonce, DE/OLB, Buffalo
    Teams are always looking for edge rushers, and the Packers haven’t taken one yet in this mock draft.

  37. Chicago Bears: Tyree Johnson, DE/OLB, Texas A&M
    The Bears don’t have the best edge-rushing depth, so maybe this is something they can address on Day 3 of the 2021 NFL Draft.

  38. Carolina Panthers: William Bradley-King, DE/OLB, Baylor
    The Panthers could add another edge rusher, given the quarterbacking talent in the division.

  39. Arizona Cardinals: Pooka Williams Jr., RB, Kansas State
    The Cardinals lost Kenyan Drake this offseason, so they’ll need to find another running back at some point.

  40. Philadelphia Eagles: Marcus Murphy, S, Mississippi State
    Philadelphia’s secondary is terrible, with both cornerback and safety needing to be addressed.

  41. Philadelphia Eagles: Tomon Fox, LB, North Carolina
    The same can be said of the Eagles’ dreadful linebacking corps. Numerous new linebackers must be acquired.

  42. New York Jets: Derrick Barnes, LB, Purdue
    The Jets could double up at linebacker so that they finally fix the position.

  43. Dallas Cowboys: Tariq Thompson, S, San Diego State
    The Cowboys signed some veteran safeties in free agency, but both have extensive injury histories.

  44. Chicago Bears: Josh Ball, OT, Marshall
    Here’s another offensive lineman for the Bears, who need all the blocking help they can get.
