  1. Jacksonville Jaguars: Kelvin Joseph, CB, Kentucky
C.J. Henderson played well when healthy last year, but the Jaguars need to add more cornerbacks to their roster, even after signing Shaq Griffin.

Kelvin Joseph was very inconsistent at Kentucky, but possesses a ton of upside.

Pick change; previously Patrick Jones, DE

  2. New York Jets: Marques Stevenson, WR, Houston
The Jets signed Corey Davis and Keelan Cole, but I think they’ll need one more receiver if Jamison Crowder leaves.

    Marques Stevenson has incredible speed.

Pick change; previously Jevon Holland, S

  3. Houston Texans: Jay Tufele, DT, USC
The Texans finally get to pick! They had a woeful run defense in 2020, so perhaps they’ll use this pick to fix this problem.

Jay Tufele is an extremely athletic and agile 310-pound defensive tackle who could be chosen in the top half of the draft, whenever he declares.

  4. Atlanta Falcons: Richie Grant, S, Central Florida
The Falcons had a horrible secondary last year, so numerous changes must be made.

Richie Grant is a ball-hawking safety who picked off six passes as a sophomore.

  5. Cincinnati Bengals: Dayo Odeyingbo, DE/DT, Vanderbilt
Geno Atkins looked done in 2020, which would explain why he was released. The Bengals will need to find a new defensive tackle.

Dayo Odeyingbo has improved this year, showing strength and a quick first step.

  6. Philadelphia Eagles: Dylan Moses, LB, Alabama
The Eagles have one of the worst linebacking corps in the NFL. They desperately need to make some upgrades.

Dylan Moses, a former five-star recruit, missed a chunk of his freshman campaign, but was very productive as a sophomore. Unfortunately, he tore his ACL.

  7. Denver Broncos: Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford
The Broncos released A.J. Bouye, leaving them with just one great cornerback, the oft-injured Bryce Callahan. They signed Kyle Fuller and Ronald Darby, but one more cornerback could be obtained to fully satisfy the depth woes. .

Paulson Adebo has great size, coverage skills and play-making ability. He struggled a bit in 2019, but could rebound next year.

  8. Detroit Lions: Rodarius Williams, CB, Oklahoma State
The Lions cut Desmond Trufant, so they’ll have to find another cornerback to start across from Jeff Okudah.

Rodarius Williams had always been just a steady player at Oklahoma State, but his play improved exponentially in 2020.

  9. Carolina Panthers: Joshuah Bledsoe, S, Missouri
The Panthers must upgrade their horrible secondary.

Joshuah Bledsoe has been a solid tackler over the years for Missouri.

  10. Washington Redskins: Tylan Wallace, WR, Oklahoma State
The Redskins need a better No. 3 receiving option than Cam Sims.

Tylan Wallace doesn’t have great size and speed, but he runs routes very well. He tore his ACL in October 2019.

Pick change; previously Rashod Bateman, WR

  11. Dallas Cowboys: Creed Humphrey, C, Oklahoma
The Cowboys need to finally replace Travis Frederick, as they continued to have issues at center last year.

Pick change; previously Paris Ford, S

  12. New York Giants: Ar’Darius Washington, S, TCU
The Giants made some nice upgrades to their secondary recently, but they could add to their depth.

Ar’Darius Washington is undersized, but has terrific instincts.

Pick change; previously Walker Little, OT

  13. Los Angeles Chargers: Tre McKitty, TE, Georgia
The Chargers lost Hunter Henry to free agency, so they’ll need to find a new tight end for Justin Herbert.

Tre McKitty is athletic, but needs to be stronger to contribute in the NFL.

Pick change; previously Creed Humphrey, C

  14. Minnesota Vikings: Jamie Newman, QB, Wake Forest
The Vikings should look into spending a Round 2-4 pick on a quarterback to challenge the overpaid Kirk Cousins in a year or two.

Jamie Newman has nice passing talent and can also beat the opposition with his legs.

  15. Arizona Cardinals: Ifeatu Melifonwu, CB, Syracuse
The Cardinals have a terrible pass defense that must be upgraded. Multiple new cornerbacks are needed.

  16. Las Vegas Raiders: Asante Samuel Jr., CB, Florida State
Here’s a cornerback upgrade for the Raiders, who need as much help as possible to defend Patrick Mahomes over the next 10 years.

Asante Samuel Jr. is a small corner (5-10, 184), but he has great play-making ability.

  17. Miami Dolphins: Hamsah Nasirildeen, S, Florida State
The Dolphins have some excellent cornerbacks, but they could use an upgrade at safety.

Hamsah Nasirildeen has nice upside and athleticism, but he needs to fill out.

  18. Washington Redskins: Camryn Bynum, CB, California
The Redskins signed William Jackson as an upgrade over Ronald Darby, but they could still use some cornerback help.

Pick change; previously Rashod Bateman, WR

  19. Chicago Bears: Quincy Roche, DE/OLB, Miami
The Bears could use some edge-rushing depth in case of injury.

Quincy Roche needs to bulk up, but he has plenty of explosion of out of the snap.

Pick change; previously Ar’Daius Washington, S

  20. Philadelphia Eagles: Trey Smith, OT, Tennessee
The Eagles should look into adding an offensive tackle, given what transpired with their blocking unit last year.

Despite being a freshman, Trey Smith was arguably Tennessee’s best player in 2017. Unfortunately, injuries have ruined his career.

  21. Tennessee Titans: Ronnie Perkins, DE/OLB, Oklahoma
The Titans need to double up on edge rushers, given their issues with getting to the quarterback last year.

Ronnie Perkins needs to bulk up a bit, but he has great potential as an edge rusher.

  22. New York Jets: Israel Mukuamu, CB, South Carolina
The Jets still have to address their dubious cornerback situation, which they must do in the first three rounds of the draft.

Israel Mukuamu is a big cornerback (6-4, 205) who is enjoying a breakout sophomore campaign.

Pick change; previously Quincy Roche, DE/OLB

  23. Pittsburgh Steelers: Kellen Mond, QB, Texas A&M
The Steelers need to find a quarterback for the future.

Kellen Mond was inconsistent throughout his Texas A&M career, but he has shown improvement in accuracy.

  24. Detroit Lions: Tedarrell Slaton, NT, Florida
The Lions can use the pick they acquired from the Rams to fix their woeful run defense.

Tedarrell Slaton is a massive nose tackle who causes lots of disruption.

  25. Cleveland Browns: Damar Hamilton, S, Pittsburgh
The Browns endured poor safety play in 2020, so this is a position that could be addressed early in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Pick change; previously Pete Werner, LB

  26. Minnesota Vikings: Marlon Tupulotu, DT, USC
The Vikings need to continue to retool their defensive line, which saw several players depart as a result of cap complications.

  27. Cleveland Browns: Marvin Wilson, DT, Florida State
The Browns have the luxury of beefing up their defensive line with some extra selections in the 2021 NFL Draft.

Marvin Wilson has outstanding size (6-5, 311) and athleticism, and he is capable of putting consistent pressure on the quarterback.

  28. Green Bay Packers: Jerome Johnson, DT, Indiana
The Packers have needed to upgrade their defensive line for a couple of offseasons. Perhaps they’ll do it this spring.

Jerome Johnson has a good motor. He really stood out in the Ohio State game last year.

  29. Buffalo Bills: Michael Carter, RB, North Carolina
Devin Singletary was a disappointment in his second year, while Zack Moss was just mediocre when healthy.

Michael Carter had a great week at the Senior Bowl and may have put himself into Day 2 consideration.

  30. Kansas City Chiefs: Patrick Jones, DE, Pittsburgh
The Chiefs need another pass rusher to potentially start across from Frank Clark.

  31. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Rhamondre Stevenson, RB, Oklahoma
The Buccaneers are likely to have some turnover at running back, so they may spend a mid-round pick on the position.

Rhamondre Stevenson is a power back who has a nice burst to get to the next level.

  32. New England Patriots: Shi Smith, WR, South Carolina
The Patriots overpaid for a couple of receivers this offseason, so their situation at the position is still dire.

  33. San Angeles Chargers: Jevon Holland, S, Oregon
The Chargers lost Rayshawn Jenkins to the Jaguars in free agency, so they’ll be looking for another safety.

Jevon Holland has tremendous instincts as a very talented play-maker, though he needs to improve his tackling.

Pick change; previously Tre McKitty, TE

  34. New Orleans Saints: Sage Surratt, WR, Wake Forest
The Saints needed a receiver even before cutting Emmanuel Sanders, so they could double up on the position.

Pick change; previously Israel Mukuamu, CB

  35. Dallas Cowboys: Pete Werner, LB, Ohio State
The Cowboys need some young blood at linebacker. Sean Lee is an impending free agent, while Leighton Vander Esch has trouble staying healthy.

Pete Werner is a stout run defender who had a strong finish to his 2020 campaign.

  36. Tennessee Titans: Brevin Jordan, TE, Miami
Jonnu Smith signed with the Patriots, so here’s a potential replacement for him.

Brevin Jordan looks to be the next great Miami tight end. He’s drawn comparisons to Evan Engram. He’s extremely fast.

  37. Los Angeles Rams: Dillon Radunz, OT, North Dakota State
Andrew Whitworth won’t be around forever, so the Rams need a new left tackle for the future.

  38. San Francisco 49ers: Seth Williams, WR, Auburn
The 49ers may want to add a better third receiver to go along with Deebo Samuel and Brandon Aiyuk.

Seth Williams (6-3, 224) came out of nowhere to have a huge 2019 campaign.

Pick change; previously Dan Moore, OT

  39. Los Angeles Rams: Shaun Wade, CB, Ohio State
The Rams need another cornerback in the wake of Troy Hill signing with the Browns this offseason.

Shaun Wade has a ton of upside and was able to produce well in the slot in 2019. He has struggled this past year, however.

  40. Baltimore Ravens: Trevon Grimes, WR, Florida
The Ravens must obtain at least two receivers in the 2021 NFL Draft, given their severe weakness at the position.

Trevon Grimes is a mismatch weapon with nice play-making ability.

  41. New Orleans Saints: Payton Turner, DE, Houston
The Saints lost Trey Hendrickson to the Bengals in free agency, so they’ll need to replenish depth on the edge.

Payton Turner can play in any scheme. He’s raw, but has lots of upside.
