  1. Cincinnati Bengals: Alex Leatherwood, OT/G, Alabama
The Bengals saw Clint Boling retire unexpectedly, so they’ll need to find someone to replace him.

Alex Leatherwood, a former five-star recruit, has excellent strength to be a stellar run blocker and the athleticism to block elite edge rushers.

  2. New York Giants: Xavier McKinney, S, Alabama
The Giants lost Landon Collins this offseason, which was a huge loss for the secondary. New York needs help at the position to stand a chance at defending the pass.

Xavier McKinney was the best safety on Alabama’s roster last year, despite the presence of Deionte Thompson.

  3. Miami Dolphins: Kenny Willekes, DE, Michigan State
The Dolphins finally address the defense. They have no pass rush to speak of, so they’ll need to use an early selection on an edge rusher.

Kenny Willekes needs to get stronger for the NFL, but he’s a very quick edge rusher.

  4. Indianapolis Colts: Jacob Eason, QB, Washington
Jacoby Brissett has played well this year, but we’ve seen his limitations during the team’s collapsing playoff run. If so, the Colts could opt to find a true successor for Andrew Luck.

Jacob Eason, a former first-round staple of my mock drafts, is off to a good start at Washington. He was once the projected No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Mock Draft, but dropped off because of his injury and transfer. Now that he’s thriving for Washington, he should be back in first-round consideration.

  5. Arizona Cardinals: Trey Smith, OT, Tennessee
The Cardinals signed Marcus Gilbert, but they still have severe offensive line woes that they must address. Gilbert’s injury isn’t helping matters.

Trey Smith would’ve been the No. 2 pick in this 2020 NFL Mock Draft if it weren’t for some serious injury concerns. Smith has gotten blood clots in his lungs, so I don’t know what that means for his playing status going forward. It’s a huge shame, as Smith is ridiculously talented.

  6. Detroit Lions: Najee Harris, RB, Alabama
Kerryon Johnson hasn’t been able to stay healthy, so I wonder if the Lions would be willing to spend a second-day pick on a running back to complement him.

Najee Harris was one of the top recruits in the country in 2017, and he showed off his talents as a freshman. He’s been tremendous again this season.

  7. Atlanta Falcons: Nick Coe, DE/DT, Auburn
The Falcons missed Adrian Clayborn this past season. Vic Beasley, meanwhile, has regressed. I could see Atlanta doubling up on edge players in the first couple of rounds.

  8. Jacksonville Jaguars: Antonio Gandy-Golden, WR, Liberty
The Jaguars could look into adding a talented receiver to go along with D.J. Chark and Dede Westbrook.

Antonio Gandy-Golden has great size (6-4, 220) and hands. Level of competition is a question mark.

  9. Los Angeles Chargers: Javon Kinlaw, DT, South Carolina
The Chargers don’t stop the run well and struggle to generate interior pressure. They can get two birds stoned at the same time with this selection.

  10. Denver Broncos: Tyler Biadasz, C, Wisconsin
The Broncos have sorely missed Matt Paradis, who signed with the Panthers last offseason. They need to shore up their pedestrian offensive line.

  11. Carolina Panthers: Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia
New Panthers owner Bobby Axelrod has said that he wants to trade Cam Newton. If that happens, he’ll obviously need a new quarterback because Kyle Allen is just a high-end backup.

Jake Fromm was tremendous as a freshman for SEC champion Georgia. He struggled a bit in 2019, so he’s down to second-round consideration.

Pick change; previously Justin Jefferson, WR

  12. New York Jets: J.K. Dobbins, RB, Ohio State
There’s been talk that the Jets could trade Le’Veon Bell, as Adam Gase didn’t want him in the first place for some reason. If the Jets move Bell, this is a potential replacement.

J.K. Dobbins entered 2017 as a backup, but overtook Mike Weber and had a terrific freshman campaign, showing off his great, explosive running ability.

  13. Chicago Bears: Terrell Lewis, DE/OLB, Alabama
The Bears need some edge-rushing depth, especially considering that Leonard Floyd will be entering free agency soon.

Terrell Lewis was once a staple of my 2019 NFL Mock Draft, but he returned to school after an injury-plagued 2018 campaign.

  14. Indianapolis Colts: Jeff Gladney, CB, TCU
Indianapolis could go after an upgrade in their secondary, as it has surrendered some big gains to receivers.

Jeff Gladney has off-the-field issues, but is talented enough to still be a second-round prospect.

Pick change; previously Cameron Dantzler, CB

  15. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Chuba Hubbard, RB, Oklahoma State
Unless Ronald Jones stops disappointing, the Buccaneers won’t have any sort of running game in 2019. Jones has played well at times, but it doesn’t seem as though Bruce Arians trusts him.

Chuba Hubbard is projected as a second-round pick. He has great vision and instincts, and he can catch passes well out of the backfield.

  16. Cleveland Browns: Josh Jones, OT, Houston
Given the Browns’ severe blocking issues, it wouldn’t surprise me if they spent back-to-back picks in the 2020 NFL Draft on offensive linemen.

Josh Jones needs to get stronger for the NFL, but his length and athleticism will interest some teams.

  17. Philadelphia Eagles: Justin Jefferson, WR, LSU
There was serious excitement when the Eagles signed DeSean Jackson. He had a great first game, but hasn’t really played since. The Eagles will need to find some receiving help after what has transpired this year.

Justin Jefferson is tall (6-3, 192), long and athletic. He’s enjoyed an excellet first half of his 2019 campaign.

Pick change; previously Tee Higgins, WR

  18. Chicago Bears: Tee Higgins, WR, Clemson
The Bears could add another receiver to start across from Allen Robinson.

Tee Higgins is a matchup nightmare receiver with his incredible size (6-4, 200).

Pick change; previously Tamorrion Terry, WR

  19. Los Angeles Rams: Jake Hanson, C, Oregon
The Rams traded for Jalen Ramsey, but he won’t fix their main problem, which is their poor offensive line. The blcking desperately needs to be upgraded.

  20. Tennessee Titans: Tamorrion Terry, WR, Florida State
A.J. Brown is a stud, but Corey Davis hasn’t lived up to his first-round billing yet. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Titans used a second-day selection on a receiver. Tamorrion Terry is a big, athletic receiver who could sneak into the first round.

Pick change; previously Jeff Gladney, CB

  21. Dallas Cowboys: Kyle Dugger, S, Lenoir-Rhyne
The Cowboys tried to land Earl Thomas last offseason, but they haven’t been able to upgrade their hole at safety. Perhaps they’ll do that with this pick.

Kyle Dugger is big and quick, and he possesses an excellent skill set.

  22. Houston Texans: Trey Adams, OT, Washington
What is it with talented tackles named Trey being unable to stay healthy? Trey Adams would be a top-10 prospect if he didn’t have any injury problems. Adams was a fixture in my 2018 mock before tearing his ACL. He returned to Washington, only to miss the entire season with a back injury. Perhaps the Texans will take a chance on him at the end of the second frame.

  23. Pittsburgh Steelers: Steven Montez, QB, Colorado
Mason Rudolph has been so bad that he’s been benched. The Steelers will be looking for a new successor for Ben Roethlisberger unless Duck Hodges continues to play well.

Steven Montez’s accuracy isn’t great, but he has great upside as a quarterback prospect.

  24. Minnesota Vikings: Bradley Anae, DE/OLB, Utah
The Vikings could stand to add another edge rusher behind their two talented starters.

  25. Seattle Seahawks: Khalid Kareem, DE, Notre Dame
The Seahawks needed edge-rushing help even before they traded away Frank Clark, so here’s someone else to help them get to the quarterback besides Jadeveon Clowney and L.J. Collier.

Khaleed Kareem generated lots of pressure for the Irish in their strong start last season. He has a nice frame (6-4, 265) with great upside.

  26. Buffalo Bills: Yasir Durant, OT, Missouri
The Bills signed some offensive linemen last offseason, but some of them are just short-term solutions. Here’s a right tackle for the long haul.

Yasir Durant has work ethic problems, but is a talented prospect.

  27. Seattle Seahawks: Prince Tega Wanogho, OT, Auburn
Will the Seahawks finally strengthen their offensive line and give Russell Wilson the protection he deserves? It could happen here, as the 2020 NFL Draft class seems packed with talented blockers.

Prince Tega Wanogho is an athletic tackle who could play on the blind side in the pros. He’s raw, so he’ll need to be coached up.

  28. Green Bay Packers: Gabriel Davis, WR, Central Florida
The Packers didn’t select a receiver in the 2019 NFL Draft, and they’re paying the price. It’s become clear that this is a position they’ll need to address next spring.

Gabriel Davis has great size (6-3, 212) and has generated a buzz among the scouting community.

  29. Miami Dolphins: Jaylon Johnson, CB, Utah
Again, the Dolphins need everything, and that includes some cornerback help to go along with Xavien Howard and Nik Needham.

Jaylon Johnson has nice size (6-0, 190) and ball skills. He had a great 2018 campaign.

  30. Atlanta Falcons: A.J. Terrell, CB, Clemson
The Falcons have had major issues covering receivers this year, so they’ll need a major upgrade at cornerback.

A.J. Terrell has good size (6-2, 190) and nice skill set.

  31. Baltimore Ravens: Henry Ruggs, WR, Alabama
The Ravens hit a home run with Marquise Brown, but they need to add a second receiver to play across from the former Sooner.

  32. Kansas City Chiefs: Jordyn Brooks, LB, Texas Tech
The Chiefs could stand to improve every level of their defense, including their pedestrian linebacking corps.

Jordyn Brooks is a fast and athletic linebacker, but his instincts are lacking.
