  1. Cincinnati Bengals: Tua Tagovailoa, QB, Alabama
The Bengals will be giving Ryan Finley a chance in the second half of the season. If he struggles, the bengals will be in a position to select Tua Tagovailoa atop the 2020 NFL Draft in the wake of Miami’s victory over the Jets.

The hero of the national championship against Georgia, Tua Tagovailoa has a big arm and scrambling ability, and will undoubtedly draw comparisons to Russell Wilson.

Pick change; previously Justin Herbert, QB

  2. Washington Redskins: Andrew Thomas, OT, Georgia
Trent Williams has vowed never to play for the Redskins again, and he has kept his word thus far. Washington needs a new left tackle to protect Dwayne Haskins.

Andrew Thomas has been very impressive, using his great athleticism and length. NFL personnel believe he has tremendous potential.

  3. New York Jets: Chase Young, DE, Ohio State
The Jets need someone to help Sam Darnold, so both a No. 1 receiver (Jerry Jeudy) and a talented left tackle (Austin Jackson) make sense. However, Chase Young is the top prospect in the 2020 NFL Draft, and getting him third overall to help a lacking pass rush would be too good to pass up.

Young enjoyed a breakout season in the wake of Nick Bosa’s injury in 2018, and has been very dominant this year. He’s a very athletic edge player with great size (6-5, 265).

Pick change; previously Austin Jackson, OT

  4. Miami Dolphins: Justin Herbert, QB, Oregon
The Dolphins are tanking, but they won against the Jets because they know that they’ll secure the No. 1 overall pick if they lose the rest of their games (they play the Jets and Bengals later in the year.) For now, they have to settle for the second quarterback.

Justin Herbert had an up-and-down 2018 season, which included a great performance against Stanford. He was considered the top quarterback prospect for the 2019 NFL Draft before making the mistake of returning to school, where he’s risking injury and regression.

Pick change; previously Tua Tagovailoa, QB

  5. Atlanta Falcons: Jeff Okudah, CB, Ohio State
Atlanta has tons of holes to fill, and one of the major ones is the poor cornerback play. With Chase Young off the board, the Falcons could be interested in the top cornerback in this class.

Jeff Okudah is a big, athletic, speedy cornerback with immense upside.

Pick change; previously Chase Young, DE

  6. New York Giants: Jerry Jeudy, WR, Alabama
The Giants’ defense is an abomination, and they also need help on the offensive line so that Daniel Jones doesn’t keep fumbling twice every week. However, the best player on the board is Jerry Jeudy, and it’s not like New York couldn’t use an upgrade across from Sterling Shepard to replace Odell Beckham Jr.

Jerry Jeudy is a height-weight-speed freak in the mold of a Julio Jones. He’s the next great Alabama receiver, and if he performs up to his skill set, he’ll have a great chance to be a top-10 pick.

Pick change; previously Grant Delpit, S

  7. Cleveland Browns: Austin Jackson, OT, USC
Perhaps the Browns will think twice about entering the season with Greg Robinson as their left tackle. They desperately need help on the offensive line.

Austin Jackson is a terrific athlete with quick feet and superb agility.

Pick change; previously Walker Little, OT

  8. Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Grant Delpit, S, LSU
The Buccaneers could draft a quarterback, but that would require general manager Jason Licht to admit that he was wrong about Jameis Winston. Licht believes he’s right about everything, so Tampa might give Winston another shot in 2020. If so, perhaps this pick will be used on a safety to finally make amends for not selecting Derwin James.

Grant Delpit is an exceptional talent who figures to be a top-10 prospect when he declares.

Pick change; previously Walker Little, OT

  9. Denver Broncos: Kenneth Murray, LB, Oklahoma
The Broncos have needed linebacker help for years. They wanted to select Haasan Reddick a few years ago, but he was plucked off the board before their selection.

Kenneth Murray was co-Defensive Freshman of the Year in the Big XII, thriving in coverage for the Sooners. He broke an Oklahoma record for tackles in a game with 28. Murray has excellent instincts and has great speed and athleticism for coverage.

Pick change; previously Jerry Jeudy, WR

  10. Las Vegas Raiders: CeeDee Lamb, WR, Oklahoma
The Raiders planned to have Antonio Brown as their top receiver in 2019, but their plans went awry. Here’s a new No. 1 receiver to replace him.

CeeDee Lamb is a terrific route runner with great hands. He’s been amazing this year and is now the No. 2 receiver on my board.

Pick change; previously Kenneth Murray, LB

  11. Arizona Cardinals: Derrick Brown, DE/DT, Auburn
The Cardinals have needed a strong presence on the defensive line ever since losing Calais Campbell to the Jaguars. Here’s a great replacement for Campbell.

Derrick Brown has great size (6-5, 316) and tons of upside. He can be a great interior disruptor if he lives up to his potential. He had a chance to be a top-five pick (No. 4 overall?) in the 2019 NFL Draft before he returned to school.

  12. Detroit Lions: A.J. Epenesa, DE/OLB, Iowa
You can never have too many talented players rushing the passer, so I imagine that the Lions will be very interested in a talented player who can do so early in the 2020 NFL Draft.

A.J. Epenesa was a five-star recruit who showed some major promise as a freshman, registering 4.5 sacks. He was excellent in 2018.

  13. Jacksonville Jaguars: Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford
The Jaguars just traded Jalen Ramsey (go here for the NFL Trade Grades for analysis), and they’ll need a replacement for him.

Paulson Adebo has great size, coverage skills and play-making ability.

  14. Los Angeles Chargers: Trevon Diggs, CB, Alabama
The Chargers’ secondary is a mess. Part of that has to do with injuries, but they’ve needed a talented cornerback across from Casey Hayward for quite some time.

Trevon Diggs, younger brother of Vikings receiver Stefon Diggs, began as a receiver at Alabama, but was tremendous last season at cornerback before suffering a foot injury.

Pick change; previously Jeff Okudah, CB

  15. Tennessee Titans: Jake Fromm, QB, Georgia
Marcus Mariota has been benched, so the Titans will almost likely use an early-round pick on a quarterback next spring.

Jake Fromm was tremendous as a rookie for SEC champion Georgia. He has a great skill set and was the very early favorite to be the No. 1 pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He has been passed by a couple of prospects, but he’s still a first-round prospect.

  16. Las Vegas Raiders: Yetur Gross-Matos, DE, Penn State
The Raiders could use another edge rusher to go along with Maxx Crosby and Clelin Ferrell, as they’ve struggled to get to the quarterback.

Yetur Gross-Matos registered a ridiculous 20 tackles for loss in 2018. His potential is off the charts.

Pick change; previously CeeDee Lamb, WR
